I just installed it and messed it up a little bit but it still looks really good. A few tips for installation for a successful and perfect install: Pre installation: 1) Watch this video and Whitestone's video on this installation first. Watch both of them twice so you really understand what to do. 2) Practice putting on the parts of installation kit. What I mean is practice placing the phone in the trays, putting on the top tray, putting on the pin, etc, and *_ESPECIALLY_* practice placing the screen protector in the tray and laying it on the pin. This was perfect the hardest part of it because it's very delicate and moves around easily. 3) Make sure you really do have a leveled and completely flat work area as stated in Mobile Fun's video. This will ensure the liquid adhesive doesn't slide around anywhere OR so your screen protector doesn't slide when placing it on the tray 4) try to work in a dust free area so there aren't any air bubbles 5) *Optional:* Place a mark such as a sticker on the front of the screen protector where the finger print scanner would be. This will help you identity the right spot to press down on before the curing process. While installing: 1) *_CRUCIAL TIP_* : for the speaker cover sticker, make sure you only place just a little bit of the sticker to completely cover the speaker. The shape of the sticker should like up just right above the top of the tray. I made the mistake of covering the speaker too much on accident and after the installation, the sticker got stuck under the screen protector after putting on the adhesive. 2) Make sure you remove the pin as soon as the *_CENTER OF THE ADHESIVE BUBBLE_* hits the 2 arrows. This ensures the adhesive spreads completely all over the phone. 3) Allow the adhesive to spread. It may take up to 5 minutes or more. I have a tiny air bubble left on mine and I think I should've let the adhesive settle in more.
Worked liked a charm! Only feedback would be the spoken instructions in this video say pull the pin as soon as the glue gets to the arrows, but both this video and the written instructions (with pictures) shows pulling the pin when the midway point of the glue hits the arrows. So I did the latter and it worked perfectly.
I use this video every time! One additional tip - don't try to do near a window if bright outside! The sunlight will start to cure the glue. Found this out the hard way but they always give you extra glue
I bought the double pack...glad I did. The first installation didn't go well. Second one was fine. Scanner works fine. My advice: when applying adhesive, give the container a little tap to make sure there's enough adhesive to cover the whole screen. But great product, even covered a small chip I'd made on the screen. Great video
I wouldn't recommend tapping the container, it can cause even the tiniest bubble. Wouldn't bother most but it happened to me and I said f it and replaced it lol. OCD I guess.
i had the dome glass for my s8+. went on flawless, no issues with the protector on, worked great. end up trading the s8+ for a note 9, tried several dome glass, all would bubble up after a week or less around the corners. nothing but defects and cheap material.
I've got to add to this. Mine works just fine. I'd been religiously researching how to install this thing, though, and I spent more time than I'd admit, setting up a dust-free environment, double checking every on-hand official video... Installation isn't complicated, just complex. Just hold (like, really hold) the fingerprint area between curing 1 and 2, and double cure for session 2 (60 secs top and bottom, twice)
First installation attempt - adhesive went up the phone and into tray! Second installation attempt - video wasn't clear enough and I didn't realise I had to put the screen protector on top of the pin... and adhesive went all over the tray again. Now having to buy a second pack! I hope my speaker hasn't been damaged.

Got this installed on my s10+ 2 days ago, overall it is the best screen protector i have ever use, but the installation is a little bit hard, be very careful with the alcohol wipe, maybe i wiped the edge too hard after the 1st curing, the alcohol got the glue off on the edge side. DONT WIPE THE ALCOHOL TOO HARD. I learned it the hard way.
It costed me too much money (I imported) I did exactly what was done in the video (played in slow motion lol) And Yes Finger print sensor works just fine.
Make sure you install it on a level surface, otherwise the adhesive won't run properly down the screen. I learned this the hard way and now I'm cleaning adhesive off the back of my phone. No damage done, but it was worrying.
With the adhesive and the arrows, are we supposed to pull the pin when the adhesive first touches the area between the two arrows or wait until the center of the adhesive is exactly in between the two arrows?
My two pack came without a pin or a second screen protector. I managed to get it to work by substituting the pin with something else, but now my mom has no screen protector.
What are the long black bands that come with the kit for? It looks like they are masking films for all the phone sides but they do not show the process here

It is very nice to have a video but the narrator speaks way too fast and moves through the steps and transitions far too quickly. I think I was able to complete this task first time but I repeatedly had to slow the video down and replay sections a few times because the speed of the narrator was simply too fast to keep up. Given how complex this process is overall, going slower is a must in future videos so people can go along.
No. If you see them at all from step 1, they're there. Some things I was told to keep in mind. Don't tap the bottle, don't wiggle the screen, don't try to move it around at all. Even a tiny spec of dust can cause a tiny irritating bubble that you may miss.
I just finished apply it on my new 10 and it installed perfectly.. then I set ultasonic finger print sensor.. after all settings done, gues what I can unlock my phone 1 in every 10 time trials if I'm lucky.. it's suck for this. I bought it again after satisfied for my s8 before but for ultra sonic sensor.. you gotta make it better
I think it's pretty expensive for a product you have to put on yourself. The only thing I can think of is the price of that UV light must drive up the cost by a lot and this is why this product is so expensive. I can get two years of coverage for water damage and glass damage or any other damage for $89 bucks at UPSIE Phone Insurance. So 50 but for this is something I will have to pass on and stick with the Insurance better. This glass will most likely break on its first fall. while my OnePlus 7 Pro Glass won't because it is 20x's Stronger than this thin "Suppose to be" Tempered Glass. If price drops I may look into it. otherwise, I will pass. Insurance is a much better option for all. None the less seems like a Good Product.
Biggest POS product I've ever purchased. Got sent what looked to be a previously returned product. Then while following the steps I pull out the screen to notice it has weird marks on the inside that I attempted to clear off but this only made the marks larger :/ And then finally with a puddle of resin waiting on my phone screen, the entire dome screen shattered in my hand. Would not recommend product or brand.
I did it perfectly and it doesn t work... now if i return it i will be without the factoey screen protector and i won t be able to use my New phone till i get a replacemente...

I dropped my s8 with this screen on my s10 also with this screen. Screen colided each other, nothing happen woth s8, but the s10 screen broken

Yes it work but you need place your finger little bit harder so it recognize your finger. Without screen protector its work amazing
