@@ImMikoFreako Good luck trying to get in contact with customer service and for a refund. I've ordered mine over 13 days ago and don't have a date when I will get one, so I tried to cancel order but yet they debited my card. I immediately contacted my bank to get my money back.
I just installed it and messed it up a little bit but it still looks really good. A few tips for installation for a successful and perfect install:
Pre installation:
1) Watch this video and Whitestone's video on this installation first. Watch both of them twice so you really understand what to do.
2) Practice putting on the parts of installation kit. What I mean is practice placing the phone in the trays, putting on the top tray, putting on the pin, etc, and *_ESPECIALLY_* practice placing the screen protector in the tray and laying it on the pin. This was perfect the hardest part of it because it's very delicate and moves around easily.
3) Make sure you really do have a leveled and completely flat work area as stated in Mobile Fun's video. This will ensure the liquid adhesive doesn't slide around anywhere OR so your screen protector doesn't slide when placing it on the tray
4) try to work in a dust free area so there aren't any air bubbles
5) *Optional:* Place a mark such as a sticker on the front of the screen protector where the finger print scanner would be. This will help you identity the right spot to press down on before the curing process.
While installing:
1) *_CRUCIAL TIP_* : for the speaker cover sticker, make sure you only place just a little bit of the sticker to completely cover the speaker. The shape of the sticker should like up just right above the top of the tray. I made the mistake of covering the speaker too much on accident and after the installation, the sticker got stuck under the screen protector after putting on the adhesive.
2) Make sure you remove the pin as soon as the *_CENTER OF THE ADHESIVE BUBBLE_* hits the 2 arrows. This ensures the adhesive spreads completely all over the phone.
3) Allow the adhesive to spread. It may take up to 5 minutes or more. I have a tiny air bubble left on mine and I think I should've let the adhesive settle in more.
As someone who just installed mine, I have to say it feels exactly like touching your naked phone screen, which feels very nice to the touch and doesn't collect fingerprints as easy as film protectors.
Something to keep in mind - your fingerprint sensor may take slightly longer and may require a tiny bit more pressure to unlock.
I followed the advice from the video down below and applied pressure over the fingerprint area before the second curing process. Its been 3 months now and it still feels perfect

Do you recommend getting one ? I have bought tempered glass ones and they easily crack, even without me dropping it. Not to mention finger scan doesn't work.
@@lincoln6981 - It is good for when it's on, and there's a way to make your fingerprint sensor work as normal, however, if you drop it and the protector cracks, you might damage the oleophobic coating on your phone. That's what happened to mine and now there's a "friction" difference on different parts of the screen.
And there's no adhesive because I've used alcohol to rub it off so I know that's not the issue.

*Missing Steps (to avoid fingerprint sensor issues)*
After the first cure top and bottom for 15 seconds, place your finger on the finger print scan area and press for 1 minute before you wipe the glue and cure for 60 seconds top and bottom.
After, delete any old registered fingerprints and register your fingerprint TWICE-once following the device's instructions and then, ADD ONE MORE FINGERPRINT (Same finger), the way you would naturally touch the screen.

I should have tried your method. I followed the instructions to a T and find that the fingerprint scanner only marginally works.
Also turn on your touch sensitivity setting
Mine works, but it takes slightly longer and needs a tiny bit more pressure. Honestly I'm just happy it works at all. Too many horror stories in the comments.
Best screen protector I could invest in. Feels amazing and doesn't peel off. Super easy to apply and can be removed with ease
Don't know how everyone is having a problem with this. Installed mine there now, re-registered my fingerprint and working perfectly everytime. I'd say anyone who is having problem with fingerprint unlock not working, simply haven't installed it properly. When fitting the protector, never touch it, don't be pushing anywhere to try and help fill any gaps with non of the liquid, just give it time. Follow this video and it will work for you, class A job, looks amazing.
Everyone for a flawless installation and to avoid mistakes with the fingerprint I recommend watching the installation video on whitestone website as it has some extra steps most people dont do in these videos
I was so suspicious of this screen protector. I literally accepted the risk that this was going to 50/50 work. IT WORKED! An it works amazingly. I know this doesn't work for everyone. But it did work for me so... Happy? I'm the 50/50 that works? But yeah know this may not work for you.

The white dome screen protector is great. I have a s10e. The screen protector went on with no problem.i only have one con it doesn't cover the front of the phone completely. But, that's ok it protect the screen, not the borders.

I bought this from mobile fun, carried out the installation to the letter, came out perfect, no bubbles ect. Only thing is the fingerprint sensor works maybe 1 out of 8 times, it's enough to make me think about selling the S10+ and go back to mate 20 pro, that scanner worked well with a UV screen protector.
There's a new recommendation now with the Whitestone glass to press your thumb down on the fingerprint scanner for a few seconds between the curing stages to make sure it works even better. But this was only just implemented so we can only add it to our later videos 👍

mine cost £4 on fleabay works fine ,sealed perfectly as long as you let it settle and allow the adhesive to spread out (I may have been lucky though ) finger print works but takes time to register prints
Guys you can use a normal tempered glass now it works I just tried one I bought from ebay re registered my fingerprint pressing really hard nd it worked. Make sure you remove pre instaled screen protector first no need to spend over $50 now.

Thanx for an exellent tutorial... did an install this weekend, and at first i was highly skeptical to the Whitestone dome glass for the S10 plus since I have been a Zagg fan for a long time. But since I got the S10 plus, i have used 3 sets of the Zagg for the S10 plus and all of them has failed. Knowing that I bought a Whitestone screenprotector after googling it, and I found your install tutorial and did as it said I was to do, and so far I have not been let down....
Was a bit hard for the finger sensor to "read" my fingerprint when I did a re-installl of my fingerprint but afterwards it did functioned good!
Thanx again for the tutorial so I didn't have to mess up an install of the screenprotector.... cuz sometimes It goes wrong, and some times it goes wrong, and from time to time it goes wrong really fast!😉
Can I ask: have you tried Spigen case series (especially Tough Armour, Rugged Armour) after installing the screen protector? will it be lifted? TIA
I have tough armour, doesn't seem to be lifted but fingerprint scanner doesn't work
Turn on touch sensitivity before you register your prints again and register two copies of each thumb print, this will increase the accuracy. I was having trouble with it at first until I did this and now I have no issues unlocking my phone at all. And yes it does fit with Spigen Tough Armor case.

I purchased this item for my s10+ did everything on the video and pushed on the fingerprint sensor for one minute before the 60 second cure with the UV light. I deleted my previous register finger prints and when I wanted to register new finger prints it didnt work!!!😭😭😭
Did you increase touch sensitivity ?
With the tempered glass you have to re register your fingerprints after installation, press a bit harder and turn on the sensitivity setting
Will everyone could install easily and the glass not peel off on edges after 2 weeks? Choose the glass just easy to install.
This screen protector works great with fingerprints but it feels like thick plastic not like glass.. I wonder how good it is at protecting the phone's screen
I've not purchased my s10+ yet but when I do would it be wise for me to install the glass protector before i turn the phone on for the first time to set everything up such as fingerprint?

Yes, it peels right off and all of the adhesive sticks to the screen protector

my adhesive is getting air on the side of the glass after just 2 days. so I have a "white" gap around the entire right side.

The 2 main issues on the S10 plus is the screen protector and finding a case the will not remove the screen protector.... I'm using the Dome SP and I changed it 3 times as its been pushed by the Samsung case came with phone

Not sure why so many people are having issues, my fingerprint scanner works perfect every time now compared to the protector with a hole in it i had previously which would gather dust and only work 50% of the time.
Why do you only need to put on a protective sticker at the top of the phone for the speakers and not the bottom for the headphone jack and usb port?
Great screen protector. But finger print reader doesn't work at all after the install. Followed the instructions exactly, turned up screen sensitivity, and re-registered my fingers many times. Just won't unlock my phone now.

Hi, I got the whitestone dome glass for my s10, and I don't recommend. 1- it's pricy, 2- after installing it, the peingerprint sensor works harder compared to no screen protector, and eventually it worsens, I had to move to face I'd unlock and don't use the fingerprint no more, that annoying it got. 3- if you break it, it will crumble from there. Mine was not dropped, but a flick from the cigaret landed in the bottom corner, and it cracked, now extending from there rapidly.

The installation was fairly simple but the fingerprint scanning is horrible. I re-registered my finger prints 2 sets on each thumb and it still won't work as easily you have to press so hard that your thumb. Will start feeling sore after pushing it 4x.

So pulled the phone straight out the box. Brand new. Install went great. Turned on my phone for the first time. Went to register my finger for the first time and IT WONT WORK.....
You think I had to register my fingerprint before I started this installation and did a 2nd one after install?

Just got mine installed. It looks perfectly but the fingerprint isn't working. Definitely not worth it.
If you watch the installation on whitestone website they push where the scanner is for a 1min also tell you to re add your finger print after installation

Word of advice: turn on touch sensitivity before you re-register your prints, and I suggest making two copies of both thumb prints to improve the accuracy. You still need to press a little harder but it does work.

I literally just finished putting this screen on. Finger print works perfectly. I see many of you guys say the finger print doesn't work for you. Probably you guys messed up 🤔
It's strange that this expensive product seems to have inconsistent results. I followed the instructions to a T. The screen was precisely placed with a perfect seal. I still routinely have to make multiple attempts for the thumb scanner to read. It's kind of a pain in the butt to have to do that on a $50 screen protector.

It needs a little bit of power, not that much.
@@ahbloody yes. I didn't say is doesn't work, but only that it is extremely inconsistent. I do realize that pressing the perfect amount of pressure at just the right angle, while completely covering the sensor, works. Just saying that it shouldn't be that difficult.

Installed mine today and it looks flawless. However the fingerprint sensor doesnt work. Tried everything to troubleshoot but still NOT working.
Whitestone have recently updated their installation steps since this video stating that you need to press your finger down on the spot over the sensor in between the curing steps for a few minutes to make sure the fingerprint scanner can read it correctly. We will be including this in our future whitestone videos for phones with the onscreen sensor 👍
The "review" portion sounds more like a sponsored read than an actual review. At the very least there's a conflict of interest since you're selling the product. Using "review" in the title is sketchy.

We're behind you all the way! Make sure you follow the steps very carefully and take your time, you should be fine 👍 Don't forget, it comes with two bottles of glue so you can try a second time before you cure it on by wiping away the glue and following the steps again from the beginning 😁🙌
@@mobilefun I succeeded and installed it flawlessly. Unfortunately no matter how many times I add my fingerprint theres no match. I've already turned on the increased sensitivity and still no matter what my fingerprint cant unlock my phone. So I'm very disappointed because I was under the impression white stone was the only screen protector that didnt affect the fingerprint sensor. Considering how much it costs I'm pretty upset about this. Anyone else have the same issue? Any solutions youd be a lifesaver!

I removed it after my fingerprint barley reading..even trying to reapply my fingerprint was difficult..but the screen broke all over was a pain to remove it..I'm glad I got it for free

Hi, it's as simple as putting your nail under the corner of the protector and gently lifting it up. If it's not too broken, it should come away in one.

Why do these Whitestone Dome screen protectors have such terrible reviews on Amazon? I'm looking at the S10+ protector right now and out of 100 reviews it only has 2/5 stars...
As you can see, they can be pretty tricky to apply! And they are not completely compatible with some of the tougher protective cases unfortunately 😭 But in terms of clarity and responsiveness, especially with the fingerprint sensor, it's a really good protector!

If it cracked right away theres a good chance it may have been slightly off center
well then its a damn good thing you had it on there otherwise that probably would have been your screen. its a screen protector, sounds like it did its job. when your screen protector cracks and cracks your screen then come bitching to us, then we will listen.

Put mine on today, and 1/4 times it actually recognizes that my fingerprint is trying to open it.
It takes about 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure. You can also shine the UV light around the fingerprint sensor more. I noticed you've posted this 7 months ago, so how is it now?
Edit: Also, did you reregister your fingerprint after?
If your screen protector has issues it is user error...you won't find a better protector. Read the instructions people

Does anyone do a scratch test on this screen protector?
It's crap and definitely not worth $50. Just get a plastic one until more companies start making glass without issues. I used the glass dome and let it cure for over 12 hours. Put a regular plastic case on and it popped right up on the bottom. Went back and applied a regular plastic one with no issues yet.
Yeah this protector is not as good as advertised ,I have to do it multiple times to unlock I just turned off completely

Hi! Try re-scanning your finger print again once the screen protector has been applied. It should work fine after that '👍 It just needs to learn what your finger print pattern is now you've added a new layer

@@clubtc05 No! Do Not buy. I just asked for a refund. I tried 2 x with diff screens and NO fingerprint scan. The Reviews on AMAZON are Correct.

Yea I do think it's a little to pricy for a screen protector, but they can charge that being they are the only glass screen protector that works with the figureprint.

Use the leveling app on your phone before you start the installation, do not try the rolling method as it can get stuck giving you the false idea that its balance.

Fingerprint sensor is not working after installation....what a bummer.
You didnt press down hard at the finger print sensor for 1min after the 15sec cure? That's what I did and I have no issues, This person skipped a step. Should watch whitestone video because a lot of youtubers did it wrong.
I recommend noone get this it's faulty the fingerprint scanner doesn't work properly and there are bubbles on the sides
