I plan on playing a lot of single player games like Withcer 3, Black Myth: Wukong, Assassins Creed etc. Do you think the monitor is good for these sort of games? Also the only FPS game i play is CS2: will this monitor perform terribly in a fast pased games like that, or will i be just fine?? Lastly, how do you find the monitor for just regular browsing and reading text?? and trouble?
So far I am loving it. It has a red tint in SDR sRGB mode but this was easily corrected in Nvidia control panel. There is ghosting but it's barely worse than IPS, and it feels very responsive. My only issue with it is that it does not support brightness adjustment via DDC/CI so I can't change the brightness from windows, but otherwise it is very good.
Red tint seems to be a phenomenon on many of them. Must buy one & test. On sale right now for 310 euros from 530 euros. Will not use it for the computer. Will have it as an extra screen for my console & see how it fixes 1440p, 120hz. Ghosting is what it is on VA panels unfortunately. I think black smearing is actually worse than ghosting. Have tested 4 different displays from 2023 release from different manufacturers around 450-500 euros. But none appeal to me like my INNOCN display.
@@spacemanonearth8830 I'm in the UK so I get the BK variant. It's true, the firmware is different between the EU and US models. The EU firmware has a broken sRGB and DCI-P3 mode that has identical colour rendition for both modes, so I wouldn't be surprised if the US version doesn't have the red tint. However it doesn't bother me much because it is very easily corrected and I get a very nice image afterwards.
In bright scenes yes you will see normal LCD backlight glow in the black bars because the mini led backlight is only a 14x24 array so it is low resolution, but because it has a strong native contrast ratio (~4000:1) its much better than other monitors e.g. IPS or TN without mini led
dear author! Is this model suitable for horror games? Are you happy with the monitor? The main thing for me is that there is contrast, or should I take a closer look at the Xiaomi Redmi G Pro 27?? what's better ?
I find that this monitor has very good contrast as it is VA, that Xiaomi monitor is only IPS but compensates with more dimming zones. I would probably still take this monitor though considering how much I paid for it.
@@scellyyt I now have AOC Q27G2S/EU on IPS with a contrast of 1000:1, a terrible black color (I play alan wake 2 and my eyes start to hurt (I had a Samsung odyssey g5 va, so I also really liked the black color, but g sync didn’t work well. Therefore, I think AOC Q27G3XMN will the best choice for me
Hey, thanks for uploading a real-user video on this monitor, nice video. i really want to get this but I don't wanna waste money, it seems really good. Are the colors and such by default good? And is the "flickering" noticeable? Thanks!
I've never really used the VRR because I always get high fps, so I can't comment on the flicker. Out of the box if you set the red channel to 46 and green and blue to 50 then you should get decent colours. SDR out of the box has a correctable red tint but HDR doesn't.
Crazy how much worse the blooming is when ur off angle. Looked way better when u were directly in front of it
It looks a lot worse through the camera than in person but yes
I bought this and im suoer happy, I own 240hz oled too

So, what do you think of the display overall then? How is it when you play? (If you now use it for that)

how can i correct the red tint if I have AMD GPU?
Sorry, last question please. Is there any blooming or clouding on black bars if a game is in 21:9 or in a movie ? 🙏

How’s bloom? My unit seems defective
I have no complaints about it, can you return it and get a replacement?
Black smearing bad or good ? 🤔
Honestly it's unnoticeable, it's there in very specific conditions if you look for it but I don't really notice it.
@@scellyyt will it be ok to play horror game ?
@@bigninja6472 it will be fine for that

its crazy how much worse the black background on the other screen looks than this.
It has a lower brightness as well
