I had the Xiaomi but returned it due to a glitch where the picture becomes red tinted when you change input modes and only goes away if you go on the OSD and ser and reset image mode. Also, despite 1.000+ zones blooming is very noticeable.

Titan Army 27A6MR и его аналог KTC M27T20 Pro на самом деле не рекомендую, ибо там брак через одного, и у них электроника летит к чертям через 6-12 месяцев. Поэтому как и говорю за 300-400 баксов ничего нет. Ips обсвлютно все, включая модели за 700 баксов с дикими засветами и без черного. Знаю о чем говорю, ибо беру на Amazon. За 3 месяца перепробовал гиги, асусы, алиенуаиры и прочее говно, которое вообще своих денег не стоит. Если брать ips, то только с mini led на 1000 зон минимум. VA на 360 зон будет показывать также как ips на 1000 зон.

The Neo G7 has the expected advantage given its superior dimming zone density, but for some scenes the performance is surprisingly similar. I think both models have a respectable local dimming algorithm which works well with their number of dimming zones. The greater number of dimming zones on the Neo G7 means you don't get as much 'dragging down' (dark biasing) for mixtures of dark and medium shade. The Neo G7 is more responsive - you can see this with the pursuit photographs in the respective reviews, for example. But subjectively you may not notice this difference. This model is obviously much cheaper, smaller, flat and with a lower resolution so the overall experience is quite different.

I have to say that the review was made without taking into account a very important, key detail. When using local dimming, as the author recommends, the brightness on Windows 10 drops catastrophically. Therefore, it looks very bad in dark games. And it’s a pity that in the review the author does not use games such as Resident evil 3, 4 remake. As a result, in reality the situation is not as good as described here. Keep this in mind when purchasing.
Actually on a more general level I do cover dark-biasing, which is what you're describing. Shadow of the Tomb Raider offers plenty of darker areas, some of which are shown - and on the unit I tested at least dark-biasing wasn't generally a major issue. Though I agree the scene selection should have included a clear example of that dragging down of medium shades, specifically, rather than it being 'mentioned' in the video more passively - 8:40.
Slightly smaller would theoretically be possible, but would require an HDR brightness test with an appropriate and stated patch size. Much smaller would be challenging on some monitors because it wouldn't properly cover the colorimeter sensor area and accuracy would be affected.

The monitor can change the colour of each pixel, like all monitors can. The backlight is split into 336 zones which can be set to independent brightness levels - this is separate to the LCD colour filter.
Most feedback I've received from PS5 users has been positive. You can expect the HDR experience to be similar to what is explored in the video for example.

The strength of the sharpness filter depends on the preset you're using.
