I'm using Teams and OBS, but found webpage quality through the VCam is really poor. A workaround was to share window in Teams and make OBS project to a window. Shame as it is not as intuitive and needs extra steps.
If I want to share only the countdown timer with no human element as overlay, Teams blurs the whole scene (input from OBS), sensing no human face in it. If I use the OBS to share say, this video, Teams only recognises the human part and blurs everything else. Any solutions regarding this?
Great tip, thanks. the OBS virtural cam is really bad quality. For power point it may be okay but for other browser based screen share with overlay it is not good quality.
I was asked for a hidden countdown timer in teams that l can put in the presenter chat of a live event to remind speakers their time is running out. Got a solution for dropping as a post?
Sharing screen is not an option, since you can do that with any timer, even the one from Windows. What I want a simple background that can include a timer, simple. Too many steps for a simple timer Jesus.
oh man!! This is fantastics! I will share for all my team.
Thanks for sharing!!

Probably good but way too fast. This is not a tutorial but an enthusiastic sharing of a feature in Obs...
Where is the link for the plugin?
