Is there a way to do the same, but where you set the start time? So, if i want to start at 13:00, you would set that as a parameter, and when the scene starts, it startscounting down, independent of when you start the scene. I know have to exactly start the timer 5 minutes prior to starting and that not always works out.
So awesome for my virtual teaching so I can share my screen & have a timer going. Will you post a video showing how to add sound at the end of the timer?
Thanks for this. As I implemented my own, in parallel with your video instructions (regarding the countdown timer script), I noticed that there is "Format" field in the script settings that eliminates the need for subsequently cropping the image to eliminate the hours digits to fit your background. You just delete the "%hh:" from the format string, and the result displays only the minutes and seconds. FYI.
Thanks for all the videos. One issue that I have run into is the limitation that Zoom puts into their video feed. It seems that most Zoom users are capped at 360p for video that can be requested to increase to 720p depending on your subscription. I only found this out after creating a complex set of cameras, PowerPoint presentation, iPad over NDI on OBS that then fed into Zoom. Is this limitation indeed common? Or am I doing something wrong?
Yes it is true. It should go up to 720p but, during COVID they are restricting people. You can upgrade your account and reach out to support to request better quality.
FYI - original clock file is currently missing and the new script v5.0.1 since may has now a time format i.e. %0m:%0s, thus no more cropping needed and the timer doesn't shake/move horizontally, sweet. :)
Honestly, I don't know how this account doesn't have 10 million subs. This and a few of your vids have been so helpful man.
Thank you for the kind words Jesse!!! 😄
