Hi Lise, please (i do wish) make tutorials (in udemy example) to be pro in power apps. Any plans?
Getting ready for a 3 hour final interview on Teams and I'll be presenting a Power Point and I've never used Teams before. This was SO helpful. I feel so much better! Thank you!!
Awesome, good luck / hope it went well.
Guys, this video is 100% genuine.
Very well done my friend. This is something I will definitely be using. Loved how you recorded this with the ability to show us the experience both the attendees and the presenter will have. It's often difficult to know what others will see, and you have saved us the trouble of trying to figure all that out by just showing us!
Thank you so much! When I’ve shown this to people in the past they get worried that everyone can see their notes too, so showing the participant view really helps. High degree of difficulty to record with 2 computers and a fake persona but it was a fun challenge and worth it!
I can do that😊
Big Thanks to Lisa for sharing good tips and helpful, Appreciated !! Have a wonderful day!
Amazing Lisa - brilliant!!! Exactly what I was in search for. Plus you broke down the steps nice and easy for me to go away and as you say “practice”. Thanks again for this content. Much appreciated😊
You're so welcome, thanks so much for watching.
I have a presentation in two days and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for, thank you so much!!
Woo hoo! You’re all set now 👏
I second this. Excellent video, Lisa! Thank you very much.
Fabulous clip and mostly all new to me. learned a lot there and looking forward to using it. That was SLICK! Thanks For sharing Lisa.
I am totally new to teams and was googling like mad to find a way to share and see the participant's faces too - (very important for me) Thanks so much for this!
Amazingly clear and easy to follow. Thank you for making this video.
Brilliant, I will be teaching everyone in my company how to share a PowerPoint properly now. Thanks so much.
Fantastic! Same thing happened in my company when I made this video. So many people don't know about it!
Great video Lisa. You have done a fabulous job of explaining how (& why) people should use this feature to present PowerPoint slides during Teams meetings. I just shared it with my whole organisation as it seems to be a very underutilised feature.
Awesome, thanks Simon. Definitely underused - which is what inspired me to make it. Appreciate you helping to get the word out.
Thank you so much. This was so easy to follow and so practical. This helped deal with my anxiety
As a Client Success Manager, this video is priceless. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful, thanks!
Thank You so much!! This helps a ton for my presentation next week.
My whole organization didnt know this (we are like 200 people) Thank you so much, Lisa, hope you rise in your channel
That's very kind of you, thank you. So many people don't know about this (I educated my whole organization too!)
Really clear, and incredibly help! Thank you!
Great video, Lisa, thank you! Quick question for you: are there any special steps we must take to take in order to identify someone as a co-presenter before the call starts? What prevents any audience member from taking over the presentation?
Thank you so much Lisa. You saved my life ❤❤❤❤
Outstanding, very helpful. You've enabled me to focus on the content and quality of the actual presentation by giving me the confidence of control. Thank you!!
Definitely the best vid on pp presenting via teams. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate that, thanks so much.
Really helpful, thank you. I'm so entrenched in Google Slides that I needed this. Cheers.
Outstanding as always.
You’ve made my day!!! Bloody fantastic 🎉
Fantastic Video, Lisa!!!! By far the best video of this kind that i've seen in a long time! Looking forward for additional videos. You are the best!!!
wow, that's very generous of you, thank you so much for that, let me know if there are particular topics you'd like to see covered.
Thanks so much Lisa

Brilliant tips!!!. Thanks, Lisa :)
amazing tutorial, easy to follow up. Thank you Lisa
Thanks Bac!
I wondered why my ppt deck wasn't coming up, and I had to browse. Thanks for the tips! Very simply stated and helpful.
Glad it was helpful, thanks 😊
Thank you!! This has been a major pain point. This is going to make it so much better.
Indeed, it's life changing! Have fun.
Thanks Lisa, I recently walked a colleague through this scenario. I will now share your video with my Team. 👍
It's also worth noting that PowerPoint live will cache the file on the local client for attendees. This approach is much lighter on bandwidth than screen sharing and can produce a clearer image as the attendees are effectively viewing the presentation locally - the presenter isn't sending a series of screen captures based on the frames per second used in the meeting, to render the presentation on every client.
thanks again for the video.
Awesome and thanks for that tip and explanation about the caching.
Quick question - do you still get FPS drops when sharing video? the decks I use are often more than 1gb due to images and videos? Is there a size limit to the cacheing and I am guessing it will take longer to start the live mode the bigger the deck (presentation)
Finally s there any risk of confidentiality breaches if somebody is aware you are using PPlive and can take control, see speaker notes or download the cached presentation?
Outstanding- I just started virtual onboarding and this will help so much thank you Lisa.
You're very welcome!
This was perfect. well done!
Thanks very much, that's helped me a lot!
Thank you! Very informative
Thanks, Lisa, for a nice crisp presentation.
Thanks.
Very helpful and straight to the point.
Thanks Elizabeth, so glad it helped.
Excellent video!
Thanks so much
Worked smoothly, tysm
Just made this mistake today. Very valuable video. Thank you!
Excellent video - very clear and a solid case to give this a go. I have tried the Present in Teams button that is in PowerPoint when I am also connected to Teams. Looks like it achieves the same interface, but I have experience problems with the audience not staying synched to the slides I was on as the present. Also, this integration seems to leave attendees with control to move forward and back in the presentation on their own. Not sure if that's an optional control.
gem of a clip... kudos
Great, easy to follow! Thank you!
Awesome, so glad to hear that Emily. Happy presenting!
This is very useful - thanks!
Outstanding what a lifesaver while I’m on boarding each Monday
Awesome, glad to have helped.
Thank you for this!
thank you Lisa; The vid on this topic I have seen so far. Very good.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching Tristan.
Great video. I have incorporated this method into my classes. It is great as well bc it allows the class to interact with the presentation if you link images on the side for a bit of asynchronous learning too. There are a few glitches and challenges bw regular presenter mode and PPT Live but it is a wonderful tool.
Awesome, so great to hear that. Agree it's not entirely perfect but the benefits far outweigh the glitches.
great tips, thank you
Incredible thank you so much
Thank you so so much you saved me 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for the video, it is very useful!
Very clear and useful, Lisa. Question: Can I use PPT Live for a Keynote deck while presenting on my Mac? Any differences? Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this!
On point content
QUALITY pro-tips!
Thanks Arafat.
Thank you, it helped 🙂
This is exactly what I was looking for. I love you.

Thanks so much, glad it was helpful!
really useful thankyou
Tqvm Lisa for your Quick sharing..Appreciated
Awesome, thanks for watching.
Thanks!
Great and helpful video, thank you. Is there way to go back in case you accidentally reveal an animation you weren't supposed to reveal yet?
Amazing! TY!
Life saver!
Thx for sharing this
Immensely helpful, thanks mate.
No worries 😀
great video thanks
Awesome!
Thanks Reza!
@@LisaCrosbie Your channel content is awesome. Keep growing!
great video, thanks Lisa!!
Glad you liked it, thanks so much.
Great video, specially the part where we can see the changes between PowerPoint presenters.
Glad you found it helpful, thank you.
excellent, thanks
amazing video!
Thanks for this video. I've come back to Teams this week and I have really enjoyed the changes. I love the new functionality of presenter mode but was disappointed thats when I sent the rerunning of the meeting to absent students it didn't show any of the animations or my use of the highlighter pen. Is there something I am missing? Now I know this I will make sure I mention what I am referring to on my slides but, it also means lots more slides as I often have graphics overlaid and they couldn't see this either. Any help would be much appreciated!
Good stuff, thanks Lisa!
Thanks Hans!
Thanks for the info
Absolute best
Outstanding!
Well done!
Thanks Daniel. I've shown so many people how to do this recently, it's not a well known feature but definitely one worth knowing.
helps a lot!!!
Very nice
Thank you
A great video that should be shared! Thank you :-)
Thanks so much, hoping this helps get the word out to so many people who don't know this!.
Just perfect :)
TYSM
Thank you
You're welcome
Great video ! Just wondering can we do this if it was like word file/one note or excel etc ?
Great Video
Amazing video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
@@LisaCrosbie This video helped me efficiently present for a stressful job interview. Was able to read my notes - didn’t know about this feature. Thanks :)
Just a quick question. Do you need to upload the video onto Teams or OneDrive in order to use the PowerPoint Live?
Hey I love your videos ! What do you use to edit your videos ? To add your voice and all of that ? Thank you !
Hi Natalia, I use Camtasia, and I use that to record my microphone, webcam, and screen all at once and then edit it after. I will do a Camtasia tutorial at some point, but if you're interested in checking it out, they have a free trial and 25% off in March. Thanks for sharing this Lisa. Quick question, do you know what might be wrong if when I go to share my powerpoint in Teams, the only two things that appear are "Screen" and "Window" tabs. I don't have the ability to scroll down to look at the powerpoint files you mentioned in your video. I can't for the life of me figure out why I'm only seeing those two options and nothing else in the "share content" box. Thanks very much for any thoughts you have on this. Sylvia
A couple of things to check - is your PowerPoint deck saved in OneDrive? (it needs to be for this to work). If you open your PowerPoint deck is there a "Present in Teams" button in the top right of the PowerPoint deck (new feature added since I recorded this video which is actually an even easier way to do it) and does that work?
Great video . Do you recommend I join the meeting a few minutes early and set everything up . Already have the deck up and “spot light option “ clicked ? Or do you think it’s perfectly fine to do why everybody is in the meeting ?
Depends on the formality of the meeting. If I'm doing a formal presentation to a bigger audience, then yes, I would get in early and set it all up. For more informal or internal things, or where I want to chat face to face first (e.g. go around the room and do introductions) then I do it after the meeting starts.
awesome...
