Hi Kevin. These videos are a great help at my workplace. Thanks for these. Just wanted to ask if there's a way to run a pannel discussion with multiple people on screen at the same time on live events. This will be a great help!
We recorded Teams Town Hall meeting but the recorded video after meeting is showing black screen and only sound. How to record correctly that after the meeting we could see the recorded video with presenters and their slides?
In the event that you need to have multiple presenters with their own content in succession, what would be the order of operation? We noticed that when the second speaker would start sharing, it overtakes the number one presenters presentation. In this case, how can we use the Que to pre-stage the content and video of the second presenter without over-riding the number one speaker and use the 'send live' button so that the second speaker is prepped and ready to go? Of course then we would like to do this for the third, forth, etc speaker. Is this not how it should be used? If not, please advise. Thanks.
The queue should help you with this. Before you start, use the queue to arrange the 1st presenter's screen. Once the 1st presenter goes live, prepare the 2nd speaker in the queue and only hit go live when the 1st presenter is finished. Then just rinse and repeat :) I believe this should accomplish what you're trying to achieve. Let me know if not. Cheers!
@@KevinStratvert Right, but the Que is only valid for video, not content. You cannot stage content so the next speaker has to share at the right time with the delay.
@@jc9923 Thanks JC. We have done the testing. It seems that the Live Stream is only really created for a single presenter with the Que. The Que only lets you prep content and video for the initial presenter before going live. Once you hit the live button and running 'live' when a second presenter clicks the share button with content, it immediately live and to not the Que. It seems that the Que was designed for primarily one presenter before going live. Again, after going live, any subsequent presenter who clicks the share button takes over the live content regardless of who is already sharing. In reality a producer only really controls the initial content and video before going live. Once live, the produce really only updates video with existing content. Try it, you will see what I mean.

Hi Kevin, good tutorial. I've subscribed and follow your channel. Love it. One question, on TEAMS LIVE, is it possible to have a guest presenter on the same screen as the producer (and/or another presenter). Like a talk show scenario. Or like TEAMS meeting where you can have more than 1 person on screen talking. How to do this on teams LIVE?

Hello Kevin, I saw some event organizers filled the black area around ppt. presentation and camera view with brand or promo banners. How to set up such "page in page" interface / layout via Teams Live Event?
That was great. Thanks Kevin. My question is - and I'm fairly new to using Microsoft Teams - is I'm planning a virtual Annual General Meeting and we'll need to have voting take place. Is it better then to use Teams Meeting format for that purpose so it's more interactive? We usually would have around 30-50 people attend an event physically in the building, but this year with going virtual instead it's hard to say how many will be interested in it. Potentially we have 400-500 families and community partners (we're a not for profit child care centre). Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
Great video thanks - Can you start a powerpoint on the same screen as the live event screen, I had to switch out and back - is there a way to make this smoother ?
Today I was running a meeting and a person who only had content to share (no camera) was sent live. Then their shared screen was live for 15min during meeting for audience instead of the faces that we saw in the producer presenter meeting. What are we not doing right?
I have a few Teams Meetings that are done and find that I get notifications from Chat every time someone comments, even if I'm not IN that meeting. Would the Live meeting do that? Or would it eliminate everyone who ever attended from getting that notification? I'm looking at using it for Open Enrollment Benefit meetings. We have 13,000 employees so I wouldn't want them to get notifications in chat every time there was a meeting that they weren't actually attending. I'll be hosting about 40 of them.
Can you pls tell me if the live event schedule gets accidentally cancelled and if it’s not visible in Calander, Then how to download the video of the conducted event .
Calendar based video link created for a particular meeting here....but can we create a fix video link that should be always same for every time for a particular group like whatsapp group so that that microsoft team video link should be a shingle link for always so that group people can connect every time that same liink and make a video call and connect with all people?is it possible??
Hi, great video! Is there an option to show multiple presenters on screen at the same time? If so, are they able to communicate back and forth, such as a panel question and answer discussion? Thanks in advanced.
These are the requirements: (I don't have the option either) A Office 365 Enterprise E1, E3, or E5 license or a Office 365 A3 or A5 license. Permission to create live events in Microsoft Teams admin center. Permission to create live events in Microsoft Stream (for events produced using an external broadcasting app or device). Full team membership in the org (can’t be a guest or from another org). Private meeting scheduling, screensharing, and IP video sharing, turned on in Team meeting policy.
@@thespecialgeneralist Sounds as if its may be limited by admin policy. I now have to click the down-arrow just to the right of that + New Meeting button.

I`m worried. In my pc, doesn`t show link for a life event.....only show me a new metting. What I do for this? Tranks
I'll be hosting about 40 of them.
i do not have the drop down for live event under New Meeting. i hold an E3 license. how can i set up the Live event?
I do not have the live event in meeting setup! How can I add it to my Team schedule meeting
Thank you Kevin. Are you using dual screen in order to queue then go live?

Hi, great video! Is there an option to show multiple presenters on screen at the same time? If so, are they able to communicate back and forth, such as a panel question and answer discussion? Thanks in advanced.
Sir can you help me how to add calendar button for live event for my webinar?
Is there a way to create a live event to be reoccurring every week? I need to have the same event link for each week inorder to market the event.
You forgot to mention what type of licence have this option. The organization i'm volunteering does not have live event option.
Can this please be answered Kevin?
These are the requirements: (I don't have the option either)
A Office 365 Enterprise E1, E3, or E5 license or a Office 365 A3 or A5 license.
If your org has the permissions mentioned by Dave, your admins likely have it disabled.
Thank you...great introduction. I will share your link with others.
My New Meeting no longer has the drop down for Live Event and in the admin controls it says company wide has controls
It's moved recently. Go to your calendar and look in the top-right for a drop-down you can use.
@@ChristopherWilsonUK there is no drop down. Only +New meeting button with no options for live event.
@@thespecialgeneralist Sounds as if its may be limited by admin policy. I now have to click the down-arrow just to the right of that + New Meeting button.
I have the same problem .. But when I googled it .. I have found the following
windowsreport.com/microsoft-teams-live-event-missing/
@@ChristopherWilsonUK I guess that was my original question, I am the admin for the company and the global policy is set for use. That is why I am confused, I had the drop down previously but as soon as I wanted to use it and set it up it was gone.
On the live view camera view is not showing on full screen
