I'm looking forward to picking up the masked version. As a Concept Artist myself, I've always sketched and painted updated versions of the '89 suits and how I personally would keep many of the classic aesthetics, but slightly altered as time progressed. The 89 suit definitely needed a tactical upgrade, but I'm glad it still has a very sleek and seamless design.
It’s bothersome that every reviewer refers to him and compares him to 89 Batman. The movie doesn’t take place in 89. His suit is different in the trailer. The toy is accurate to the movie. While the likeness could be stronger they both look like Michael Keaton in the trailer
Getting a Keaton Batman with head articulation that good when the suit cowl can't move and even the SH Figuarts Keaton Batman isn't giving him head articulation is pretty funny to me

Opening these Keaton Mcfarlane’s and Batmobile made me feel the same as when I was a kid opening up my Kenner Dark knight collection or the Kenner Batman Returns figures! Between Kenner T2 & Kenner keaton Batman, those line up of figures are the reason I collect figures as an adult!!! Oh sweet nostalgia! Mcfarlane Take my money!!!😂😂😂
I've been impressed with the Flash movie Batman figures so far. The ones that I've gotten so far, I've given away to Batman-collecting friends, but I might get the masked McFarlane one to keep after watching this review.

I'm so glad he got rid of the stupid ball jointed feet. I had so many problems with a lot of the other Batman figs being so bulky with horrible foot articulation. This is one of my top 5 Mulitverse figures to date
I’d love to see you try test-fitting numerous 6 inch scale Batman figures from different lines in the Batmobile when you review it like the Mezco (Sovereign Knight in particular, since that is my main Batman), Mafex, Figuarts, Mattel DCUC/Multiverse

I just picked up the unmasked Keaton figure at my local Target for $19.99! Not bad at all. Also, I found a Leo and Michelangelo Storage shell TMNT classic action figure (2022 rerelease) at Target as well! Both for $11.99 each! This year has been pretty cool 😎 so far!
Russ, a good Batman. It's hard for some to separate the '89 from The Flash movie version. Comparisons will be made and the cool part of why people care is nostalgia for '89 movie. Me included. I had to go through 4 Batman’s to get one that didn’t have pain issues. And yes the colours you mentioned are correct, but maybe it’s because it’s from the flash movie not the original.

I have both the Mezco and Mcfarlane batman. Only the headsculpt on Mezco is worth anything. I regret paying $130 for that figure. I like the McFarlane $20 Batman much better.
The only thing I’m upset about Ben Affleck’s figure is that he’s not as tall as Michael Keaton’s and Christian Bales Batmen. I just hope whenever they make him in his traditional BvS suit
Had to pick him up and yea felt the belt was wrong not being gold/ yellow, but re-watching the trailer looks like it is black, but still doesn't feel right
I seriously sucks that the preorders for this particular figure in the wave just up and went like the Thanos Snap. McFarlane should have anticipated this. No way I am paying over $40 for this figure. And it was the only one I wanted.
Mcfarlane scale is all over the place man. Ben Affleck is 6'2". Michael Keaton is 5'9". Christian bale is 6'. Robert Pattinson is 6'1". Yet the Ben Affleck batman is the shortest figure of them all? Make it make sense
My issue with the figure is the yellow paint on the bat insignia. On mine, the paint application is ever so slightly off-center. When you have a figure that is mostly black and needs very little paint apps, you'd think they'd do a better job with what little paint the figure requires. I'm gonna see if I can pick up a second one with better paint apps and return the first one I purchased.
You know, I love the McFarlane DC Multiverse line but I don't like these figures. McFarlane just doesn't do movie figures well. It's not his thing. And I hate soft goods on my figures. The don't hang right and they get dirty fast. I will say though, I'm really looking forward to that Target exclusive Flash figure. It looks amazing!
No. His belt is black in The Flash movie. If you watch the trailers and pay close attention, you'll notice it. People DO realize this isn't '89 Batman or Returns Batman, right? It's based on the upcoming Flash movie.

Wow, none of the maskless heads look particularly like the actors. Shame this Batman is 7 inch as I'd love a decent Burton Batman but all my superhero figures are 6 inch so he won't scale with anything.

Most of the Mattel Batman figures fit great. Provided you have one with a removed or cloth goods cape.
