It's absolutely a dream! 100%. The Kilmer and Clooney figures, for me especially. Those two are the figures I dreamed of when I was a kid! But the figures we had, weren't super poseable, most of them had those hard plastic capes, etc. All of these figures are amazing, but for me growing up in the 90's, those two are super nostalgic.
I think for its original price ($120) not too bad a set. 6 figures for 20 bucks each plus the bat signal I think is pretty good and since I haven’t bought any of these before it was worth the purchase of a 6 pack together.
The sad part is, the cowl discrepancy for the 90s Batmen could have been fixed had they just used the neck setup from the Year Two Batman, having the neck and head be one piece with only the bottom of the neck having the movement. Doing that instead of breaking up the sculpt would've remedied that. Otherwise, personally, I'm fine with these figures, but that cowl issue stood out to me immediately.
I immediately thought this as well. The Hush Batman has the same deal, head and neck one piece, rotates at the collar. Basic design idea but Monkey Paw Mcfarlane screwed it up.
@@jeremybarmann5976 The Hush is the same body mold as Year Two, as well as the 3 Jokers. So it is weird that they have used the setup multiple times, but not here where it is genuinely warranted. I like a lot of McFarlane figs for what it's worth, but the team dropped the ball hard on this one.

They did one for each of the Arkham games, which was a great way to get those figures (and I still have the majority of mine today), I think they did more than one 5 pack of Batman figures for his 75th anniversary, and they did at least one Hush three pack that I can think of. They were usually all characters that I wanted, so I bought quite a few of them, and even the ones that I didn't care as much about I still sort of liked having because I wouldn't have gotten them otherwise. I know that seems contradictory, but it's sort of cool getting something you didn't know you'd appreciate until you had it.

This set could have absolutely been better, more accessories, extra hands, etc. If that was the case it would cost closer to $200+. You're only paying about $20 per figure which is a good price in today's market. Of course we all want more for our money but reality is companies are gonna cut corners however they can to keep the costs down. If you want a superb Batman go buy a Hot Toys Batman. Those are the most accurate but expect to pay $300. Good luck articulating those too without damaging something.
I think the stands and a working Bat signal with interchanegable symbols and included batteries make this a good value for the money. Plus I believe these had more paint put to them than their standalone releases.
I dont mind big sets especially if they're cool and come in a unique packaging. I actually like the box, the Gotham image is cool, and I'm a box collector. I think of the NECA turtles in their giant 4 or 8 packs and I love those. That said these days, I'm not as enamored with them just because of my changing collecting habits and dropping 100-200 for a group of figures all at once I could piecemeal out is harder on the end of the month. But there definitely was a time where I was super hyped to get them but I had more space and less things. I like cloth capes without wires, but the material should be different. Keaton's silhouette is just wrong, like they've got a base body they've applied some general ideas to rather than making something that looks like the source from scratch. I really want a good BVS Batfleck. I dont like either the JL suits. Otherwise all the likenesses are pretty good for me. Nothing has particularly extra fit and finish but I think Todd more is going for multiple different ways to sell the same thing that'll appeal to different collectors. Which is honestly a fine MO. But I wish if they knew they'll be selling the thing multiple times over, they'd put that extra effort into production. But for amount of plastic and unique tooling, Todd is giving the best value. Bigger and more sculpt than Hasbro, cheaper than NECA. But I think of that Marvel Legend interview, I'd rather buy 30 really good figures per year rather than skip 100 mediocre ones.
Pattinson is the second tallest Batman actually, not that that matters because the heights of these figures are all over the place From tallest to shortest it should be Affleck Pattinson Bale Kilmer Clooney Keaton
Heights: • Keaton - listed height: 5'9" • Kilmer - listed height: 6'0" • Clooney - listed height: 5'11" (Clooney seems to be a bit closer to 5'9"-5'10") • Bale - listed height: 6'0" (Bale seems closer to 5'11") • Affleck - listed height: 6'2" • Pattinson - listed height: 6'1" So height wise... this 6 pack is ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE 💀
The annoying thing here is that two of the Batmans aren't even in their regular costumes; Kilmer and Affleck are in weird variant costumes they only wore for part of the movie. Reminds me of the Doctor Who 11 Doctors figure set that was released years ago where they gave you all the Doctors but used weird variants for some that meant you'd still buy the regular ones single carded AS WELL AS the super expensive box set.
I like the big boxes and if you think about it, it’s probably about $20 cheaper to buy that box as if you were paying individual price they’re probably all $25 plus tax plus that lake thing would probably be another 40 or $50 all by itself so really that big package is the best way to do it and I like the big box. I think it’s cool to have the big box to each his own
In Batman Forever he has a 2nd suite which is known as his Sonar Suite, didn’t have much screen time but yes it’s exactly on point cept for the cape. It was more of a leathery/rubber look.
McFarlane has no sense of scale. 5’09” Keaton should not be the same size as 6’04” Affleck. And it’s not like they don’t already have different sized batmans; look at the hush figure compared to rebirth Batman - that’s closer to the size difference we should be seeing here
Honestly my favorite cowl is the Arkham City and Knight cowls. Those suits were so amazing. Of the movie ones, maybe Bale's. I don't really love any of those suits, but I do really like most of the movies.
Ben afflecks cowl in bvs is my favorite by far. It is a piece of artistry and engineering prowess. The bvs cowl to this day is the only 1 piece cowl that can turn, and it's a shame it was lost in all of his sequel suits. And it's gorgeous to boot.
Hey Ant, I know you'll probably skip the individual releases of Tobey and Andrew, so do you think Andrew at 25.99 is a fair price , with your 7/10(considering the 30 dollar parameter in your 3 pack review?) rating?
Controversial opinion: it's good that the Keaton figure is not screen accurate. We already have a few accurate figures, all of which show Keaton exactly as he was in costume - short, not muscular and limited by the impractical suit - not the way we, as an audience member should see him. In real life, when looked at directly, with no shadows, during broad daylight, this costume looks silly. And we know it does not represent the person underneath it. This figure however - honestly? I believe this Batman is that muscular under all that armor.
"This is batman next to 94 mattel batman, then here next to 01 batman, then we have batman next to batman beyond batman, then...we have batman next to my 2013 batman batman, then we have, batman next to my 6inch scale blue batman 🔁" - Dhunter probably recently.
I like the Kilmer cowl and the color on that look kinda cool for photos and stuff but yeah the big diapers are just weird and weird proportions as well for sure
Just going to throw it out there...The Keaton Batman logo is the updated Mandela Effect logo. The poster logo, VHS box logo , every promotional logo know to many has the logo looking different at the tail/bottom area.
I had to cancel my pre order, otherwise I would’ve loved this set; I don’t have any of these Batmen, and picking them all up at once with the cloth capes was also what made me want them too. Sadly will have to pay more for it down the line, or wait to see if I can pick them all up in single releases and change the capes myself if they’re plastic.
I feel AnthonysCustoms' microaggression towards Mcfarlane for most of the time. Even for some of the points that can be considered great considering the price point. Too much negativity can be tiring, you know. I so love this Batman set. 💯
for the question of the day : both marvel legends and dc figures (mostly marvel legends do this) when they do a multi pack of figures its almost only 1 figure that actually looks cool or that I personally want. its a waist of money for me to want the 1 figure out of the 5 pack or what ever many figures in the pack.
Multi-packs are cool, it's just it doesn't really work for standard figures. It makes sense for Transformer combiners like the recent Menasor set especially since getting them individually was a pain and it was changed in a different deco.
Hey Ant, what is the white stand or black that you use to review action figures? I’m starting my own and yours is cool! Note: if anybody has a recommendation they are welcome!
That Keaton Yikes. I like the cloth cape on Bale. It's much better than the plastic one. Honestly think the Kilmer and Clooney are the 2 best in the set.
The logo on the Keaton Batman should have been painted black on the edge/border as well. Just looks weird without it. I think they fixed it in the batmobile two back.
Great review, I missed out on the 2000s movie batmen at retail so this was a set for me. I also like the slight improvements to the retail releases, the Pattinson Bat release had a short looking neck and I'll take fists over a bunch of open hands, except Afleck unfortunately. Also for the question I also like Kilmers/Sonar Suit cowl
I like this collection box. It's great and lots of fun. I can't imagine any other company getting a chance to do this. And every Batman figure in this collection set is painted differently compared to their previous versions. Any new figure of the same character will get differently painted in a single release. Cool stuff but yeah.. should have been better. A bit more accessories and nicer stands would have been cool. No Batrangs is crazy! Just one per figure. The Bat signal is nice looking but disappointing that it's not functional. Overall, its a decent release but not great...😢
I generally like big multi packs if it’s for a team because theres no waiting to see if the whole team is released or if I can’t get a member because they’re an exclusive of some kind, but for this bat man pack no this just seems weird
I don’t really collect DC but I like Batman. There is a store that has this pack for sale. How much did you pay? The store has it for sale for like $180. Personally it seems pretty expensive
Hey Great review dude appreciate your attitude and attention to deal. I picked up a McFarlane toys the new Batman adventures figure for 18 out of my local GameStop. Comes with a grapple a few open hands and fists, I’m gonna stick with that one come until I can get a good Keaton 89 Batman or Returns. This is apparently a rereleased but it’s actually Not to bad and doesn’t clash with the size of an SHFigure Arts scaling.
I only collect Mcfarlane now for customs and army building enemy types. Very few look good enough to display without extra paint. The giant diapers, weird hip articulation and ratchet click ankles don't help their cause. It doesn't cost more to switch hips and ankles to a solid piece and ball and sockets. Ratchet ball ankles and wrists were always a bad choice from their first releases and they keep using them. Absolutely ridiculous and clear sign they don't care. You hit the nail on the head about the articulation being decent but not fun. Grab a modern NECA, Mythic Legions, Select or import figure like Furay Planet if you want figures that are FUN to articulate!
The faces are actually pretty good..the Keaton logo had too much yellow..Keaton sculpt was good and how would they do an accurate Keaton cowl? Good compromise with the articulation.
If you own none of these figures and love at least a majority of the Batmen (movies, actors, costumes, overall iterations), then cool I guess. If not, then just buy them individually
sometimes I always wonder about the assessment of the figures you review, yes I know it's subjective. especially for this figure about the proportion, I don't know what you see, I think the proportion of this figure is quite good, I don't understand what you mean by too big feet etc.
I love the idea of this, i just got back into collecting after a few years but got back into it for these. I wanted a christian bale 6-8 inch batman figure and missed out on all previous releases. Not only do i get the bale batman but all these other batmans who are really cool and i dont have. It sucks they didnt release more cause now its 300$+ for a box in canada which sucks
For $20 a figure, they look fine. You want better looking figures, then you have the choice to buy the more expensive limited ones. McFarlane has been around a long time and made a lot of money,so I think he knows what he's doing. You have to remember most people don't dissect the figures like you do. No matter what you say, you can't expect a$20 figure to be as good as $100+ figure. Even though you always try to sell us that story.
@@AnthonysCustoms Sure I do. But you want perfection out of a $20 mass produced figure. You get what you pay for. People should know that already. Is your line of action figures gonna be Neca high dollar quality and sell for no more then $22.99. I doubt it. You get what you pay for, that's all I'm saying.
I have to give this a 4.5/5 because of a couple of reasons you mentioned the Michael Keaton head being inaccurate and Ben Affleck suit not being the BVS suit like it should’ve been
Im on the fence about getting this pack. Its a nice set honestly but not really interested in having all these figures. I only favor the kilmer and pattinson figure. It would've been nicer if neca released a set like this i think.
I am okay if buying in a bundle if they are cheaper. Like $15/$17 each if these are not new sculpts. And with such a giant box, I wished they included some accessories. Or the box can convert to a bat cave cut like the Castle Grayskull back in the days or a Barbie playset... hahaha... If not a playset, they should do a cylinder packaging like how you had them on a circle -kind of like Iron Man armors. I definitely agree with you on the stands. They should have the different Batman logos with each. Or the year of the movie and the Batman movie names. I do like the cloth cape; only wished it was wired too. Overall, I don't hate the set, but like you said, things could be much better as well if they are going to treat this as something special.
When you consider that it comes with that awesome Bat signal each comes out to less than retail depending on how you'd price that. Even then $20 each is great in today's market
The first day of autumn begins with Anthony’s action figure review of the McFarlane Toys Batman 6-Pack! Bloody hell! That’s a lot of Batman! 😅 I, too, must say [that] I am indifferent to a set like this, and I bloody love Batman. However, it seems overwhelming yet concurrently underwhelming - especially considering the overdramatised packaging. It is huge! Not even I have the space to accommodate action figure packaging of that size! My darling wife wouldn’t allow it!🤣😂 The six Batman figures could have been so much better than they are, but the same McFarlane problems persist; the lack of accessories, disproportionated anatomy, poor posability, the insipid black plastic discs (display stands), and the ‘A for effort’ Bat Symbol. My battery-powered torch has better LED’s. I believe that there IS collector quality potential here, but this 6-pack just misses the mark. Mister Anthony, thank you for sharing this with us. Bigger and more sculpt than Hasbro, cheaper than NECA. But I think of that Marvel Legend interview, I'd rather buy 30 really good figures per year rather than skip 100 mediocre ones.
Pattinson is the second tallest Batman actually, not that that matters because the heights of these figures are all over the place
From tallest to shortest it should be
Affleck
Pattinson
Bale
Kilmer
Clooney
Keaton
Heights:
• Keaton - listed height: 5'9"
• Kilmer - listed height: 6'0"
• Clooney - listed height: 5'11" (Clooney seems to be a bit closer to 5'9"-5'10")
• Bale - listed height: 6'0" (Bale seems closer to 5'11")
• Affleck - listed height: 6'2"
• Pattinson - listed height: 6'1"
So height wise... this 6 pack is ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE 💀
Anthony chugging that collectors box off the table just made of us in-box-collectors twitch a bit, lol.
1:38- bro knew what was saying.
The sonar suit from Batman forever is iconic though, even back in the 1990’s
I like the big boxes and if you think about it, it’s probably about $20 cheaper to buy that box as if you were paying individual price they’re probably all $25 plus tax plus that lake thing would probably be another 40 or $50 all by itself so really that big package is the best way to do it and I like the big box. I think it’s cool to have the big box to each his own
In Batman Forever he has a 2nd suite which is known as his Sonar Suite, didn’t have much screen time but yes it’s exactly on point cept for the cape. It was more of a leathery/rubber look.
The figures for this 6 pack need a little bit more work mostly around the dipper part of the legs and the arms
I'd love the OG Panther suit for Kilmer, and the Ice suit for Clooney, in that scale.
I resonate with the Batman Forever figure. I've been accused of having too much meat in my diaper as well.
Yup, Batman forever and Batman and Robin had two exact Batman costume molds but with slight changes.
If you like the way it looks it's fine
@@AnthonysCustomsdo you plan on reviewing the Green Goblin and Doc Ock?
Keaton is 5'9", Clooney is 5'11", Kilmer and Bale are 6'0", Pattinson is 6'1", and Affleck is 6'3".
Sadly will have to pay more for it down the line, or wait to see if I can pick them all up in single releases and change the capes myself if they’re plastic.
wow a super sized Anthony video! it's like two anime episodes
yours doesn't seem to have the green paint issues on the keaton Batman like alot of others have including myself
I feel AnthonysCustoms' microaggression towards Mcfarlane for most of the time. Even for some of the points that can be considered great considering the price point. Too much negativity can be tiring, you know. I so love this Batman set. 💯
talking about microaggressions immediately invalidates the rest of your comment.
I agree
@@AnthonysCustoms he’s got a point, you are pretty nitpicks and dare I say biased against McFarlane
I'm glad I waited 41 minutes for the cake
for the question of the day : both marvel legends and dc figures (mostly marvel legends do this) when they do a multi pack of figures its almost only 1 figure that actually looks cool or that I personally want. its a waist of money for me to want the 1 figure out of the 5 pack or what ever many figures in the pack.
Multi-packs are cool, it's just it doesn't really work for standard figures. It makes sense for Transformer combiners like the recent Menasor set especially since getting them individually was a pain and it was changed in a different deco.
Maybe it's thay big to protect the figures? 6 figures means the risks fo breaking one is way higher
Don't think so
Hey Ant, what is the white stand or black that you use to review action figures? I’m starting my own and yours is cool!
Note: if anybody has a recommendation they are welcome!
Actually, Pattinson is the second tallest after Affleck, if we don’t count Adam West
No kidding.
Is there anyway I can get this for my birthday in December ?
I don't know if they are in stock or not
Was wondering if you do commissions if you still make customs
I don't take commissions anymore. Sorry
@@AnthonysCustoms that’s okay, man thank you for letting me know
That Keaton Yikes. I like the cloth cape on Bale. It's much better than the plastic one. Honestly think the Kilmer and Clooney are the 2 best in the set.
I would have bought this if Baleman had the Begins suit and Batfleck was in his BvS suit.
I always keep packaging and sometimes keep figures MOC. It would be nice if you showed the figures in the packaging at the start of your reviews.
The card for Batfleck has a picture of the BvS suit and the figure is tactical suit.
Got my popcorn for this lengthy review!
Is the 89 bat in the set the same one that came with the batmobile??
Didn't have the batmobile one so I'm not sure
The logo on the Keaton Batman should have been painted black on the edge/border as well. Just looks weird without it. I think they fixed it in the batmobile two back.
Great review, I missed out on the 2000s movie batmen at retail so this was a set for me. I also like the slight improvements to the retail releases, the Pattinson Bat release had a short looking neck and I'll take fists over a bunch of open hands, except Afleck unfortunately.
Also for the question I also like Kilmers/Sonar Suit cowl
The coloring book comment killed me, I instantly knew what you meant😂
I like this collection box. It's great and lots of fun. I can't imagine any other company getting a chance to do this. And every Batman figure in this collection set is painted differently compared to their previous versions. Any new figure of the same character will get differently painted in a single release. Cool stuff but yeah.. should have been better. A bit more accessories and nicer stands would have been cool. No Batrangs is crazy! Just one per figure. The Bat signal is nice looking but disappointing that it's not functional. Overall, its a decent release but not great...😢
i just want the Robin from "Batman Forever". great review!!
I generally like big multi packs if it’s for a team because theres no waiting to see if the whole team is released or if I can’t get a member because they’re an exclusive of some kind, but for this bat man pack no this just seems weird
The accessories will be included in the baf waves coming soon.
I really like it but obviously some flaws like the cape material. I hope they make an Adam West 7" one.
anthony has the biggest package in the toy community
Confirmed
Confirmed
That's what she said! ;).
The faces are actually pretty good..the Keaton logo had too much yellow..Keaton sculpt was good and how would they do an accurate Keaton cowl? Good compromise with the articulation.
Just articulate at the bottom of the neck. They do it for comic Batman figures plenty
The Val Kilmer one tho!!!!!
Keaton Batman is missing black trim around the symbol...
They're all missing all kinds of details
This is especially noticeable for me because Batman 1989 was part of my childhood. I love that suit.
I really really hope they make a rerelease of the dark knight batman
I love the idea of this, i just got back into collecting after a few years but got back into it for these. I wanted a christian bale 6-8 inch batman figure and missed out on all previous releases. Not only do i get the bale batman but all these other batmans who are really cool and i dont have. It sucks they didnt release more cause now its 300$+ for a box in canada which sucks
I only want the set for Val kilmer because I think he's the best of the set and he's my fav besides keaton amd bale.
So, Keaton is taller than Pattinson now, huh.
Even though you always try to sell us that story.
you dont understand what a review is. or how making action figures works.
When you held them all together they looked like those Chinese knock off sets that come with a few superheros 😂
Then the box should be labeled avengers then we're all set.
The capes are ok but the wrong shapes, Keaton's should be round and I don't think Pattinson's is supposed to have any scallops.
i like the Kilmer one but thats it really
McFarlane had excellent Mortal Kombat 11 figures
Jesus, I don't like McFarlane figures but I want a Batman Forever figure!
I rather buy the figures individually bc I'm not a fan of bat nipples. My favorite cowl is bat affleck
I think you're just nitpicking and being over critical.
This is a review
@@AnthonysCustoms Still. These aren't as bad as you make it out to be.
Wish I could get it but it is going for about $200 plus and will likely not be stocked again
Damn. The 89 Bats can't raise his legs? I have the Batmobile 2pk Version and his legs kick up pretty decently. Nearly 90 degrees.
How much are you stretching the diaper?
@@AnthonysCustoms doesn't stretch much and has little to no resistance
Long video. Looks like I'm spending my Saturday watching Anthony'sCustoms.
The first day of autumn begins with Anthony’s action figure review of the McFarlane Toys Batman 6-Pack! Bloody hell! That’s a lot of Batman! 😅
I, too, must say [that] I am indifferent to a set like this, and I bloody love Batman. However, it seems overwhelming yet concurrently underwhelming - especially considering the overdramatised packaging. It is huge! Not even I have the space to accommodate action figure packaging of that size! My darling wife wouldn’t allow it!🤣😂
The six Batman figures could have been so much better than they are, but the same McFarlane problems persist; the lack of accessories, disproportionated anatomy, poor posability, the insipid black plastic discs (display stands), and the ‘A for effort’ Bat Symbol. My battery-powered torch has better LED’s. I believe that there IS collector quality potential here, but this 6-pack just misses the mark.
Mister Anthony, thank you for sharing this with us. I recognise hard work when I see it, and you, dear boy, put in the work every single time you upload one of these brilliant review videos. The videos are never a waste of our time. Many thanks to you, sir. 👍✊

*By the way, the Batman Forever figure has the best cowl.
Thanks for the comment, doc.
Of course@@AnthonysCustoms
Woah...wasn't expecting this 44 minute treat ❤
Can't believe that Ben got the shaft again..they couldn't paint his belt or give him fist hands?
Bale and Keaton are the shortest (6' & 5'9") Pattinson is 6'1".
Best cowl...Baffleck.
