My heart would not be broken if the band would simply STOP and let Stephen solo this one. Fact is he can do all of their parts on the guitar--no backup whatever is needed. An amazing talent from the days when talent was mandatory!
In fact, Stills does just that on the current tour with Judy Collins - which I saw earlier this week - everyone exits the stage and he does a couple solo - and he has a nice intro: "Now here's a song that's been made irrelevant by Colorado, Oregon, and who knows who'll be next, but I like to play it ...."
Been through heck and back. Is about 70'ish here right? And he still is such a musical human being. Yeah, raging ego over the years. Wayyyy too much partying, but he always was and is a great musician.
Tree Top Flier, yes Mr Stills I would risk the death penalty to drop a ton of good weed on Washington DC,so corrupt with war and ilkalaqueer or alcohol!Rock On Forever , Chris Young
Man to watch this after that performance when he was younger. He’s still good but the way he played it then was just insane he was showing off his skills and here he just plays all relaxed. He must be too old but wow when he was younger he could blow the fucking roof off the place.
I love him I wish you would take care of himself better he's really heavy and kind of struggling. I hate to be that opinionated but he could be eating better and taking care of himself he certainly got the money. I want him to stick around
Simply, the man is a legend.
Absolutely magical with a guitar!!!
Prolly muh fav song to sing .
Love me some Stills man.
Can't hear enough of steven stills. (carrie on)
Stephen Stills (Carry On). Details matter.
This song is so indescribably cool. Stills performances of it just seem to keep getting better. The song captures his spirit.
"...indescribably cool". Perfect.
Classic music in a world gone mad ! Long live the rebels !
Grande Stephen....formidabile arista!

My Brother: "If you get hit while skimmin' - climb, climb".
This vesion is new to me. Nice to see my hero Stills is politically engaged.
He changed the line about gun. In the demo the pilot still flies guns lol
Good visuals on the guitar work. It just might be time to give it a try. Great southern raw bluesy jam.
If you like this you MUST see the movie "American Made" in theaters now (2017)
Right?!!!!!

GREAT TUNE KNEW 1 HUEY PILOT NEVER CAME BACK
It was more dangerous to be a door gunner on a Huey. Wide open door, easy target.

Chevy Chase playing piano!
Steve seems a little more together than he had in a long time. I don't know if it was just a lucky night or not. But good version.
I agree...
The Mule...from Vietnam War...

The keyboard player should keep his day job...his riffs don't belong here
Don’t need the band at all…….
No love to the drummer. :-(
