Yes, our house always had a radio in the kitchen and stereo in the living room, a very good stereo my mom bought with a full collection of the Classics (Mozart, Tchaikovsky, etc), music was something we all loved and still do. My 5 siblings and I are always quoting songs & I always sing. Got a new fiddle, time to start practicing again.

For clarification: This tune is from the Nash/Crosby album recorded in 1972. Their touring guitarist was Don Felder, who left the tour to join the Eagles. This era was overflowing with musical talent..... something we'll sadly never see again.
Great Graham. He played at the spring festival in 1980 - my first year at American University in Washington D.C. I was an anti-nuclear power activist and I'm pretty sure I was tripping that beautiful afternoon. Idyllic. He sounds good here, nearly 40 years down the road, and that electric guitarist is fine fine fine.

I think I might have misinterpreted your comment at first- I thought you were blaming the govt. and the Republicans. Nash wrote this song because he was pissed off that he was detained at the Canadian border trying to get back into the US. He had an H-1Visa, and not American. It was as simple as filling out some forms, and some inconvenience- then he was good to go. Still rich, still famous- but this song is now some sort of anthem.
