It needs to be said that this amp is indeed LOUD! It can be used with a drummer, and it will cut through. Preferably youd mic it up, but it can just be elevated on an amp stand. I honestly think the extra 5w was to copensate, for any possible perceived extra loudness, against a valve amp. Obviously, this isn't going to hurt sales, but it actually kinda sounds like a Rockerverb ffs!
The 35rt takes pedals really well. Time-based effects can be used in the effects loop. I'd highly recommend using overdrive and distortion effects in front of the gain channel (not the clean channel). I've found that by setting the gain very low - not much more than clean - my tubescreamer and distorion pedals work brilliantly.
Hey Jimmy, it's a solid state amp so it might struggle against drums and bass at all our rock but you will be able to use it for other genres with no problems.
Just ordered one off sweetwater. My fender fm212r is a hot mess,as in the cheap heatsink and 6 resisters wich atleast the farthest 2 brown up and the board even burns a little,and are known for desoldiering themselves.Im cool on adding heatsinks or cutting a hole for a pc fan to cool it off when the volume was never over 3.it really only gets a little louder and it just starts getting muddy and the cheap speakers start sounding floppy😂,im just keeping it real.💯,and its noisy, with no effect loop,just a footswitch and a cheap cable,some may like it,it wasnt my cup of tea.the pots are mini sized and unreliable.Its been a head ache. I have faith in orange👌
I've just bought the 35tr. Best amp I've had. The clean is pure magic and the amp takes pedals really well.

I have 2 35 rts that I use in stereo. Perfect little practice amp. Best I have ever had.

How does the 35rt take pedals? Like reverb, delay, chorus modulation, fuzz. Especially in chain. I'm into post rock that's why I ask
