Your parents are adorable. The vibe of your videos lately is so wholesome and fun. Can't wait to see a big radar/solar rack on the back and you guys setting sail across an ocean.
1st time to watch your show. Subscribed & Liked. I am from NH but ended up in FL. The NH, Maine coastline is the most majestic I think one can sail. So many places to see and explore. Every step is on top of a piece of history. Halifax is amazing also. Happy Trails
There's more and more sailing channels popping up on TH-cam....yall channel is most interesting to me....(+2 others) the grind...the come backs from set backs....the new friends...the new crew members....etc, brings me back each weekend when I can watch my favorite channels. I'm not a patron but I wish I was....don't forget about us on YT! Kee bringing more
I try to read some comments on everyone's video that I watch. The most common theme I always find on your's is in reference to your humility! That sort of rang a bell for me so I went back to your early period videos and watched the ending again where you are on the dock summarizing the episode and then go push Desiree off the swing! Left on the dock desk is the list of 4 things to accomplish for goals, topped by: "Become more attractive". Being humble has been the right formula for your followers! That is so admirable, but rare in the public society, that we crave it!
I love your channel. Someone might have commented. If you pull your traveler to one side away from where people are coming on and off, it makes it much more comfortable. Very simple, but very helpful. Coming on or dock is to starboard, put the traveler all the way to port. We do it always at our mooring. Again, very simple, but very convenient. Keep up the great work!
Jordan,I love your mom and dad!!! You favor both of them. Your blessed. Desire, you have the best smile!!! I love you guys and enjoy your video’s! Thanks for all the hard work editing!
Hi captain osso and crew I have been lockdowned in australia and only allowed to exercise outside my house for 1hr and you need to know what a lift to my spirit watching you live your dreams, cheers
What a beautiful blessings this boat is already... It was so sweet to see you an your Dad wore same color shirt.. great minds think alike.. An your mom was a complete doll.... Just a doll!! It brought tears to my eyes I miss my Mom.. but I'm grateful for all the memories... Lil Ozo is a sweet lil pup... Thanks for sharing your life with us!! Fare winds an following sea's ✌🏻💗☺️❣️
Nice to see you sharing your joys with your both family. It is so wonderful that you have chance to explore your lifestyles, the world and at the same time, you dedicate your love to your families. The love of the family is deep down that worth of everything.
When driving a semi and Maine north of Portland there was a small truck stop and had the Maine booked dinner. From what they told it was from. Many years past when there was no refrigeratoration. It was potatoes carrots, turnips, beets, cabbage, onions, and corned beef plus seasonings. They also had it turkey. Root vegetables that was stored in cellars, cabbage can be stored also. Farther north there were farms where the house are connected so in winter did have to outside. Love driving in Maine in the rural areas. Now live in rural Washington state where all fires are.
Desiree I agree with you on you guys sailing in the northeastern part of the country. Loads of history and where the US got started. The Bahamas and Caribbean are great, but this is on another level for a sailing channel. I luv it.
I have been following you guys for a while now and loving every video. I live in Montreal (5 hours from Portland) and my girlfriend and I have a retirement dream (still 10-12 years away though) about getting a boat and going down the east coast. It's so amazing to watch your east coast journey with all it has to offer as well as the challenges. Cheers !
I've been watching you all for a while. And I have to say this one is up there as one of the best. Jordan, your Dad is my new fav person with his Florida State hat on. Keep them coming! There were many laughs with this one.
That was a nice Boston Whaler you parked next to in Portland. My dad retired from a port on the west coast, and his workhorse was a Boston whaler. Loved that boat.
Even though you had MANY refurbishing problems on this boat, I am so glad that you chose this one. Who knows what the other one might have brought you, but now that you are sailing this one... SUCH a joy! Love your channel.
Your videography is just gaining levels of awesomeness every time. Of course I love the drone shots, and even the shot at 2:37 showing the bow I thought was really nice. Little details like this help tell a wonderful story and keep our attention. AND how cool is Jordan's mom/dad? I just love em!!
Was in Portland last week. After watching you guys for years; for one glad to see you enjoying my state. Secondly if I turned the corner and saw you guys walking around Portland I would of lost my shit. Lol and Dez did a great job popping oysters. Love ya girl.
It’s a great sailing a adventure my wife and I are sold on your adventure we were like that when we were younger with our 3340 Cruisers inc . Then our 40 Alpine Motor coach . We have our 26 ‘0 Winnebago. Wife is 93 I’m 79. We sailed with our friends on there 40’0 Tartan which was great. Love you guys. Good winds and safe Voyage
First time commenting!!! Watching you guys is great, I’ve been watching for 3 years and Im a mate driving a tug boat, When you said the ais was difficult I laughed a little, (not to sound rude but it’s a professional speaking.) You guys are killing it out. I’ve seen you guys around and I always appreciate seeing you out there
Desiree, your conversations soooo very enjoyable, real, and like we are right there with you and Jordan. Oh, the editing seems to have kicked up several notches. ..who is doing it? The warmth and respect between you two inspiring! !
I go to Portland maybe twice a month an hour and a half west of me and I've never been to that incredible fish market before. My nephew may have shipped out on the blue fishing boat to the Grand Banks a few years ago even in the Winter... burrr. Loved to get the feel of coming into maritime Portland with you 3.. Your folks were great!!
The best way for oysters opening is getting the pointing side towards your belly and opening it from the right top side xx as it is the feet point that is holding the oyster together… one else cut its so easy to lift …. No oyster man will ope it from the bottom
Place a personal EPIRB on OSO. There are ones that will sound an alarm when the device is 100m from your boat. This will help you maintain sanity as the little guy grows more gorgeous.
When we first went to Maine in '82, before settling there for 20 years, it was August so I assumed that the water was warm. We pulled our '58 Ford school bus into the parking lot at the beach there at Portland Headlight and my Golden Setter and I ran and dove into the surf... WRONG MOVE!!! It was SO cold.
I love oysters,, so nice to see that there are at the other side of the ocean so many sorts.. that we never see here..or can buy.... Overhere they sell a scissor with an oysterknife on it, so first you cut a piece into the oyster, and then you pry it open with the knife ... so you can never get the knife in your hands ...
💖🌸🦋 I think when family come aboard for two or seven days I feel it recharges your battery’s and the smile 😃 is bigger and brighter. ⛵️😃🌸 When you have your first little angle on board it’s going to be so exciting.💖🐬🐬🦋🌈⛵️
Back to the exploration of mainly Maine. But Maine is just a State which is plain and without debate. This week we get to visit, specifically, Portland, but not Portlandia. In this episode things start out a little foggy but they quickly become quite clear. It's time to meet up with Jordan's parents. On the way we see a few wonderful Maine lighthouses. Then at 4:30 Desiree makes a tasty looking meal. yum yum BTW - Did you guys power sail all the way? And I love the multi-rotor aerial shots! Portland harbor does look very busy! And what a docking spot. But it seems like you Buds are learning how to move Atticus II around pretty well. Next up, the parents arrive! So, are they the "Elder Buds" ? They clearly have a good impression of the "new" Atticus. : - ) At 10:31 Days and Days go by and then it's time to mainly go for beer, lobster, and ousters! And so MANY ousters to choose from! What the sssh-hell! Then it's time to have some beer! So many choices there too! But when it comes to drinking, the biggest guy has the smallest glass. I wonder, where did mom go? She doesn't say cheers with beers? And finally everyone comes out of their shell and learns how to shuck, and eat, ousters! So much fun to work hard for a tasty morsel. : - )
I'm so glad you got to show Your Mom and Dad Atticus II. Anytime with parents is PRICELESS!!! This from another Steve!!!
10:55 Go Noles! I was excited to see your dad’s hat! So cool.
Jordan , love the relationship you have with your dad. You can tell how much you respect him and how happy he is for you … Beautiful
Your parents are adorable. The vibe of your videos lately is so wholesome and fun. Can't wait to see a big radar/solar rack on the back and you guys setting sail across an ocean.

So glad you got to experience Old Port. Shipyahd! What a great experience to share Atticus with your parents. They must be proud.
You are as close to our neighborhood as you can get. It's so nice to see you enjoying MAine.
I’m with your mom. Let the restaurant do the work for ya!
Glad to see them join you! ❤️
Enjoy watching all episodes. Oysters clean the water, sort of like lymphnodes filters trash in our bodies. Use to eat them, I got educated.
5:37 I'm a crewman on that ship! It's called Lagarfoss. I didn't know I was being filmed!

Enjoying your trip up the Maine coast. Take a look at Monhegan Island. Pretty cool island with an "arts" history. Nice little bay to anchor in.
