My condolences Mohammad I lost both of my parents and an Uncle ( My father's brother ) all to cancer in 2015 within 4 months of one another, I'm the eldest of 5 children but I get along with 1 brother so I understand and sympathize with what you're going through my friend.

Since I am new to your channel I am still learning about things here. New England is a great coastline with an adventure around every bend. Your parents appear to be getting their sea legs and enjoying the new boat. My first dog looked just like Oso and I am 67 now. Happy was a great dog. Happy Trails

The first State of Maine Flag coffee mugs!! Nice!!! The channel between Peaks Island and Little Diamond and Great Diamond Island. First night at the Goslings. One of our favorites. It was crowded!! Nice little beach at low tide and part of the Maine Island Trail. The passage choice at Whale Boat Island. You probably saw Eagle Island and the artic explorer Admiral Perry's home. Past the Mark Island monument. Up past Cuddy's Harbor. We used to go in to Holbrook's for lobsters and byob on the deck. Up to the Basin. One of the best Hurricane holes in the area. That is quite a narrow entrance. I suspect you are traversing that entrance at high tide. I grew up in Cumberland, just 2 towns north of Portland on the Coast. Casco Bay is terrific with lots to see. It is a busy part of the coast. We are just northeast of where you are at Robinhood, in Pemaquid Harbor. Hoping you explore Seguin Island. We now do most of our day trips in Boothbay or Muscungus Bay. Glad you are seeing my home state and where we live. Yes there are lobster pots, ledges, 9+ foot tides and chilly water,but this place is awesome!!!! Caption Oso is doing great. Nice work!! Nice work getting out of that slip at DiMillo's. You caught it while it was calm, good thing.

Some time ago I delivered a boat with my daughter. First there should be no wind, before leaving the forecast was about 20kn - in reality it got mid 50. She got so seasick, she promised never to sail again with me.
What a good dawg! Makes me glad as a pancake!! If I dropped either of my Irish Setters off on the shore, that would be the last time I ever saw them.

Thanks. Enjoyed Maine and the family a ton. You're right, Oso IS a good boy! Leg stretching along the shore behind the dinghy and his kayak ride was fun to watch. Plus the best closing shot ever (IMHO): STARS in a clear night sky. I had to rewind a couple of times.
A2 is always the most beautiful boat on the water wherever you go.
Again- Thank you for sharing your off shore sailing experiences and how you maintain living off the grid; the logistics and repairs. You depend on each other for everything. As an old mountain back packer, I find your navigation, satellite communications, solar power, 12v systems and food preparations very interesting.

Beautiful coast line! Very similar to the BC coastline in many places except that Maine doesn't have "mountains" coming right into the water. What you showed in this vid looked a lot like Pender Harbour and some other areas like the Gulf Islands etc. BUT no lobster pots here!! Salmon fishing boats and others though.

Welcome to Maine! Hope you enjoyed your time here. My husband is a Maine Fishing Guide. He guides a lot of striper fishing trips out of Wiscasset. I grew up in the Rockland, Rockport, Camden area of Maine. Belfast is also a beautiful town to sail into. So glad to have stumbled into your channel. Can't wait to watch more of your videos! Jordan, you have a natural talent and a seemingly patient way in explaining your sail plan, describing what you encounter and how you work the problems. I imagine life is never boring aboard, right? Then there's Captain Oso, who I refer to affectionately from afar as "Oh so good". You're lucky to have him aboard.
