FINALLY I FOUND A VIDEO ABOUT PERFUME OIL MAKING THAT MAKES SENSE TO ME!!!! Lol!!! You did absolutely amazing on this video! Part 2 as well! I get confused so easily so thank you for explaining everything so well! :)
In addition to everyone else’s comments, you guys notice her voice is so calming.
Very calming!
Thats exactly what I said to my girlfriend!
This is amazing! So glad I came across this channel and video!!
AWSOME video, with Christmas right around the corner I thought perfume would be a cute gift for my mom (and me)
Thanks for this video I’m starting my own business and I want to have perfume oils
I want to try making my own diy perfume
Hey!!! I was waiting for the video 🤗. It was great, I have been interested in this topic for a while and I really like that you are doing a series on this. Thanks !!!! ☺️
You’re welcome!! ♥️ The next video will be more complicated but making perfume is a lot of fun 🤩
Hi new here, love your channel..I have a question....do you ever have trouble with any of the flowers bleeding color into your sprays and perfume...is there a way to fix this..am I doing something wrong..help..lol..I cant keep just buying flowers.....have you ever tried to dry your own?
Thank you for another well instructed tutorial! Truly appreciate you sharing this with us...very inspiring! Namaste ♥
Glad I could help 🙌🏻😁
Would you use both glycerin and the vitamin E or just one of them? Love your video thanks for the tips!
Thank you Jessica I'm starting to learn a lot from you and especially safety. I can't wait for this journey.
Thank you for sharing all the knowledge. I am sure it took you long to get to know everything that you explained in a few minutes video. Thank you for sharing after digging through. (I have seen the copy cat videos as well). Got a question though, Can we skip the preservatives if we are using dried flowers? Thank you
Is the broad spectrum preservative needed if you aren't using dried flowers?
Love love love your channel! Thank you so much for sharing this info!!!!
Aww! Thank you for the support ♥️♥️
This video helpful but pls whats the difference between essential oils and fragrance oils?
THANK YOU!!!! I've been waiting for this. Just in time, I've been researching /learning on how to make parfum oil.
Awesome! I know when I was learning, a lot of people use drops to measure but it’s not accurate for replicating recipes. So hopefully this helped!
@@HawthornCompany yes, it’s helpful. I was wondering how would one count 40 or up drops. Thanks!!!!
Hi there! Are there ever any issues with flakes impacting the composition of the fragrance? As well as the flowers impacting the scent? I mainly want to use them for decoration and don’t want them changing the scent of the FO I would use.
following the question
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful amazing video 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great video, Thanks a lot. In what IFRA cat. does this fall under. Have a great Day
Thank you Sweetie! Have you ever thought of using freeze dried rose petals? They maintain their original color for up to a year or longer. The petals I purchase have NO preservatives or additives. They are very Eco friendly. Just a thought? Thank you so much for demonstrating how to make FO perfume! I will absolutely try this! Much love to you!
Where do you buy them freeze dried?
Y
If you don’t mind me asking where did you purchase your perfume bottles pretty 🥰
How do yo keep the plant matter from not turning brown. This is beautiful
Don’t use alcohol at all. Mine stay vibrant and don’t brown because the jojoba oil does a fantastic job in preserving them. I’ve had some sitting for 6-8 months and still look pretty
@@HawthornCompany i make infused oils and the plant material turnes brown thank u
do flower will change the coloure in that oil that you add ???
Yayyyy thank you for this video. I needed to know how to make them for myself. Love from Gigie (Choublak Candle)
👏🏻 you’re welcome!
Love the video but I don’t understand how you get the amount and calculations your to get how many drops of carrier oil and essential oil. And what if you using more then one essential oil does that mean if you doing 10 drops does that make amount of tops, middle, and base notes different amount of drops.
Great and awesome DIY! and I am looking forward to Part 2. Very nice bottles where did you get them from? Thanks for sharing.
I got them from perfumeoils.com 😁
@@HawthornCompany Thank you :-)
@@HawthornCompany what size are they?
Thank you I had the same question!
Hello Jessica
Love this video had to rewatch it again. Like all the others comment on your voice its so soothing. One more question what do you call that tool you use to press down that roller into the bottle? and where can I purchase that tool from? Thanks for sharing this great video.
Thank you ♥️♥️ here’s the tool
www.perfumeoils.com/roll-on-bottles/roll-on-tool/
Hi there so how many drops of preservatives for example is it 5 to 7 drops could you please tell me thanks
Just stopped by your website, your packaging is so nice!
Hello...just subscribing to your video,i really want you to be my training teacher and i really want to know in full details and names of products you were using to make this beautiful perfume oil..Thanks💞😘
When you say to account for the flowers what do you mean?
Do you have a recipe for just perfume with alchohol that uses 20% fragrance oil?
Where do you get the dried flowers and gold strips from?
Thank you for sharing. I just subscribed to your channel 😘
Love and greetings from Pretoria, South Africa ♥️🇿🇦
Omg hi! Thank you for being here ♥️
I noticed in your other video that you were using 20 or 30% of the recipe with oil if most of the fragrance oils are only safe at 5% are there certain companies where you can go up to 20 or 30% or how is it possible that you do the 20 or 30% with it being in the safety range? Sorry I’m new to perfume making and I know that most people are very careful about the percentage that they hit but I see a lot of perfumes and their recipes being at a higher level. Can you explain how this is possible or where to get the fragrance oil that can do this?
Thank you so much Jessica! I just love your videos and channel!
I have a question... The preservative you use because of the dried flowers, would that preservative be the same/needed if I was wanting to make diffusers with botanicals? ♥️
I added them to my diffuser bottles with flowers in it, but only as a safety precaution. I have had flowers that were not properly dried release moisture, which will cause the product to go rancid.
@@HawthornCompany yes I want to avoid that, I also want a diffuser mixture that won’t go cloudy 🤞🏻lol thank you!
If I don’t want to add gold and dried flower, do i need to add preservatives? I noticed few other don’t add it. One person have dried flowers and she didn’t add preservatives which it is confusing.
If you’re using fragrance oils instead of EO is it the same recipe?
WOWWWW 🙏🏽🥹❤️ this information is literally a blessing ‼️‼️‼️ 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️
We can use vegetable glycerin as a preservatives ?
Beautiful job
Does the flowers change the scent
Kick ass video! And your voice made me drowsy.. (it's very calming, relaxing, sleep inducing (almost ASMR!)) 😊. One more thing, you list EVERYTHING needed to make this lovely perfume, but you don't mention where you got the square jar with the rollerball, unless I missed it in the list..
Hahah yeah being soft spoken is a blessing and a curse 😂. I got the bottles from perfumeoils.com
I thought I was the only one. Such a great voice!
@@HawthornCompany Your voice is fabulous. So calming and relaxing. Truly makes for a great teacher.
Love and appreciate your videos/tutorials. So beautiful and well done. xo Tina from Shadow & Glow in Orlando
Thank you so much!
Awesome video! Thank you! Where can i get similar glass bottles?
Perfumeoils.com 😁
@@HawthornCompany Thank you!!!:))
Would the flowers bleed on to the perfume ?
Great tutorial. Where did you get your rollerball perfume bottle from?
you can find them on Amazon
thanks so much for this post, how do I make the scents last long, they fade so quickly
Your skin will be the biggest deciding factor on how long it will last. On my skin it lasts 4-6 hours, and I just reapply. If you want it to last longer then you’ll need to use a perfumers alcohol which is in part 2 in my videos
@@HawthornCompany I didn't know that it was okay to add perfumers alcohol to perfume oils, wouldn't the alcohol mess with the chemistry of the oils and make it evaporate faster?
I mean instead of using jojoba oil, replace it with perfumers alcohol and you can either use essential oils with it or fragrance/aromachemicals. It won’t harm the essential oils. The top/middle notes of the scent will “burst”, so it’s a little muddier than a natural perfume oil, and it won’t be a slow release of the top/middle/base notes like jojoba oil would, but it may last longer on your skin.
@@HawthornCompany if I use perfumer's alcohol, would it still be a perfume oil because I'm trying to make an oil based perfume
No love, it would just be a traditional perfume. If you want to keep it a perfume oil, then my other piece of advice is to change your carrier oil. If you’re using jojoba, swap it out for sweet almond oil or grape seed oil instead. See if that helps.
would love to see a video o you making a solid perfume that is potent and lasting??
Ohhh that would be awesome! I’ll play with some formulas.
Jessica i followed the link through the wooden wick group. This is amazing. Where can i get the preservative? Also do u know where i can get perfumers oil?. Thanks in advance
perfumer oil can be any carrier agent, most people use either jojoba oil or sweet almond oil. you can buy them at essentialwholesale.com they have all the oils possible! They also have preservatives essentialwholesale.com/optiphen-plus
Can you use this as a diffuser 😀😀😀😀
Please write the receipe 😊❤❤❤
Hi can someone put the link to the perfume bottle? I can’t seem to locate in the website she provided. It’s the 1.9oz bottle right?
Yes I would like to know where she got those bottles as well
Where did you get these bottles 💎
Where do you get your bottles from
I tried to make mine but realized that the oils where on top while the alcohol was down... don't know why help please
Will you be doing wholesale to businesses in Canada? I love these bottles. Thank you so much for your information. I Binged watched :)
Oh yay! As of right now no, but I’m still researching the best way to handle customs and duty fees
@@HawthornCompany omg nooooo :( I loooove your stuff, I was so excited for your launch (still am!) ahh, lets hope you find a way :) Love your content!
Please where did you get your crystal from and the dried flowers
And please what is the name of the dried flowers
yours looks perfect, I made some but they looked foamy at the top of the bottle, I feel like they're not ready yet and I've been waiting for like 6 weeks, any idea what's wrong with mine and tips too?
What do you mean by foamy? Hahah girl there shouldn’t be any foam! Can you tell me what carrier you used and which oil? How much of each?
@@HawthornCompany I used jojoba oil
It could either be the quality of jojoba you are using or your fragrance, or how much you used of each. Are you using essential oils or fragrance oils?
@@HawthornCompany essential oils
@@HawthornCompany I was using a jojoba oil for hot oil hair treatment
Can we add gold flakes?
Awesome job Jessica! Thank you for sharing. Can't wait until the next video. (SarayahCandleCo)
Should be up next week ♥️♥️
Do you know the approximate shelf life on these ??
Thanks !
1 year but it will depend on how you kept your base oil and how old it is. I keep my jojoba oil in the fridge
15% fragrance? i read everywhere that 3-5% essential oils is the safe dilution. I'm getting different answers everywhere :(
Love this
I’m so glad! ❤️❤️❤️
Where do you get the gold flakes and dried flower ?
Amazon for both ❤️
Are the dried flowers real dried flowers or not ?
How long would the smell last?
It depends on your skin, mine lasts for hours on my skin (6+ hrs) but other people may experience longer or shorter durations. I keep a small bottle in my purse for reapplication since it’s discreet and subtle as opposed to a spray bottle of perfume or body spray.
How many ml is the bootle ?
About 55-56ML
Wow never mind my impatient ass could not wait and I noticed that you did use gold flakes
Hahah it’s all good!
Yrrr app log hindi me nhi bhol sakti h english ham log ki jada strong nahi k is liye kuch samjh hi nhi aaya😞
Love your work ❤️ must you be so perfect? 😩
Hahah far from it behind the scenes 😂 and thank you for the support ♥️🙌🏻
inaudible mumble, or is it my speaker!
