Great video! Love your reviews as you cover a lot of interesting companies and pieces, like your hockerty safari jacket! Subscribed and definitely looking forward to more content!
Same, I typed in Yeossal because I'm a big (semi-new) fan. I own nine polos (three short sleeves and six long sleeves) in a mix of RTW and Custom as well as a few of the 'premium material versions'. I also have the Urban Safari in Mottled Olive Linen and have two different color Jungle Safari jackets coming soon! Love the brand and excited to see your input and experience as well as the other brands! I run the 'Dapperly Dressed in a Casual Age" FB group, feel free to join and jump in a great group of stylish men! Would love to have you! Love
Nice video! The trousers turned out very nice! I just put in my order for their safari linen jacket(wide lapel) in their rust color and their new seersucker pants in cream color. Excited to see how they turn out!
All of my turtleneck sweaters are from Uniqlo, so far. I am planning to get into the topic of knitwear quite soon, so there will be some content about this coming to the channel. I did not tailor my sweaters at all, so that's just the "off the rack" fit.
I really like the tobacco pair! That’ll probably be my next order. I recently received a pair of the mottled olive linen trousers with a D ring waist band. I will definitely be ordering from them again 🤙
I’d like to order from them,as i recently discovered them, and really like the stuff they make, but always casius when ordering mtm,as i had one bad experience from one other company...especially the trousers are tricky...it’s always easier with rtw,you just send back and take size larger or smaller...i plan to take a safari jacket(tricky),some shirts(much easier),and maybe some trouser(s). Tobacco is much nicer colour, although those lighter are also very nice. And they seem shorter than tobacco ones.Tobacco seems perfect lenght,i also tend to wear a little shorter trousers.Italian way:)
Yeah, it can be quite tricky indeed. Considering this was my first order from Yeossal, they nailed my fit pretty well actuallly. Hope you'll have a good experience as well! :-)
well I'd say measure your own trousers, send measurements on Instagram with pictures so they see how you measured and accept first pair will be nice ready to wear unless you are really unlucky.. and start small alterations from second piece... my first trousers were unwearable because I measured them wrong, second trousers were nearly perfect, and because I still couldn't decide whether to size up I'm asking for my second order of trousers one of them to size up leg width.. from stock I asked for much lower rise (I'm size 39/40 with almost a size 34 rise height) for first order and adjusted for forward leaning posture for second order...
These are Penny Loafers made by Dieter Kuckelkorn. He has a webshop with his shoes which you can find over here: dieterkuckelkorn.de/alle-herrenschuhe/
They are a tad short indeed, but it's still very wearable. For the next one I will order half an inch more. These have been 41,5 inches outseam length and I am about 1,81m tall.
Dear Benjamin - Thank you for a fabulous unboxing video. I am thinking of having my tailor make a summer suit in tobacco linen. I liked the tobacco linen for your high waisted trousers. You mentioned that the mill is the famous Irish mill Spence Bryson. Do you have the name, weight and number of the linen, so that I can tell my tailor what to order? Should be in the packing slip or on the inside trouser label. Benjamin, thank you very much. Best regards, Mark Ayling
@@SartorialStyles Thank you Benjamin. I will do. I also received a reply from The Armory in Hong Kong. They have a suit in tobacco linen, and the color looks very similar to yours. The Armory said that their fabric is Spence Bryson Tropical Bunch linen (Bronze 15358). Likely this is the correct order number for the linen. I will ask my tailor to obtain samples of all the tobacco linen fabrics Spence Bryson weaves, in case they have more than one. Many thanks for your considerate reply to my enquiry. Best regards, Mark Ayling
Great looking trousers 👌 and great fit right out the box. I personally might get the leg opening made slightly smaller. Suppose it is just personal preference but with slightly “shorter” pants (no break) I think it look more flattering with a smaller leg opening ✌️
Nice video and beautiful clothes! I’m Singaporean and I have never heard of these brands! Maybe you can try Sakal, it’s also from Singapore. Keep up the great videos!
I would err on the side of additional length with linen trousers given the inherent wrinkling will end up leading to some 'shortening.' additionally given how the linen was treated pre-cutting (i.e. pre washed) and how they will be cared for, shrinking with linen isn't uncommon.
I'd agree, little shrinkage to be considered but also as Jonathan said, just wearing for a few minutes and sitting/standing you will also lose some length from natural wrinkling, especially for pure linen. I added extra inch to my Urban Safari in this same linen, but mottled olive. Same with the length and it helped balance that.
I talk about that in the video at about 04:15. I did not have to pay anything, no taxes at all. But I don't know if it will always be like that. As a rule of thumb, calculate about 20 to 25 percent of the costs of the whole order (shipping costs included), you will probably not have to pay more than that.
@@SartorialStyles Ah I missed that! Thank you very much. Might be a bit harder currently with Brexit since this january I think all goods are getting checked because of it.
Collaro (Video kommt im März), Prologue Hongkong und Made Suits würden mir spontan einfallen. Ansonsten noch Luxire, von denen hört man aber nicht viel gutes.
I wouldn't necessarily say they are way to short, but they are slightly short indeed. With summer pants that I mostly wear with loafers nevertheless, I prefer no break and this isn't too far away from it.
dude, this turtleneck looks like you've gotten it from a bigger brother, it needs to fit more tightly around the neck. Should prolly hit the gym too to fill in those sleeves.
I'd have to strongly disagree, and say while they are a little fuller fit on his body the fit is dead on! Absolutely incredible fit and I know what I'm talking about in the constant struggle to find well fitting trousers, custom is even hard to do this well.
pleated pants are definitely not for me, they look too period for my taste. That being said their polos, like you mentioned, are really nice, though expensive being...well, polos. I also like that you can specify sleeve length as literally all jackets are too long for me, being a 48 slim, sometimes 46, at 171cm.
Yeah, that's a great option indeed! I love pleats, especially forward pleats because they add some additional volume what (in my opinion) looks quite good on me because I have a very slim physique. :-)
Ooh I just bought some shorts from Yeossal so it’s great to see the quality is like. The fit and proportions were certainly great on you.
Thank you very much! :-)

I'll be looking into seersucker as well for this summer, great choice! :)
Hey Benjamin. Hope u are doing well. I just want to ask how much loosing do u go for around hips and thighs ?
where do you buy turtle necks from ? I always end up with excess fabric under my armpits how do you get yours slim there?

Me too, I am absolutely in love with their corduroy fabrics and one or two flannel trousers will probably follow as well. :-)
Just ordered Double Belted Gurkha Trousers from Yeossal see how well there ready to wear will fit me . Like your channel

The Tobacco looked good. They just seem short on you. What's your length?
