I know I’m two years late here, but Reiss has amazing stuff. Traditional English menswear with a more modern fit and the customer service is excellent. I got a double breasted suit that came with pants with no belt loops. Looks amazing. Would love to see you do a video on them since I’m still a novice.

Go beltless with a suit! That’s how suits were meant to be worn anyway. Love it!

Pini Parma and Albert Clothing are a couple places I found that offer non-belt loop pants.

My side tabs stick out like little ears. I bought a pack of Fashion Anchors, small removable adhesive dots, works great!

Pini Parma are known for their side adjuster trousers.I also dont like belt loops anymore but for summer/spring i recommend drawstring trousers made out of linen/cotton because they look much more casual than side adjuster pants. They look really cool and relaxed with a shirt and blazer. You can find them everywhere like Zara,HM,Reserved,Massimo Dutti....And they are cheap which is nice because buying trousers at Suitsupply can cost 139 euro plus 30 euro tailoring.I buy my custom made shirts and blazers at Suitsupply so nice to save a bit of money with the trousers sometimes.I paid like 15 euro at Zara for them.

@@The_Kavalier I've been buying pants roughly 2" inches to 4" inches longer than my normal length, buy the side tabs from a button/trimmings store (no more than $3), and ask my tailor to create them for me.

Speaking of linen, could you do a video on linen pants? I'd like to get into linen but it wrinkles so easily. Fantastic video again.

Linen and Cotton don't wrinkle too badly.

Linen is actually meant to wrinkle, the material is impossible to iron clean. That's the style

Great channel- had not seen this before. Have been buying suit and non-suit trousers with side tabs and no belt loops from Reiss and Charles Tyrwhitt for a few years. Great look, and less hassle. When I want to look more polished I add button-on suspenders- have added the buttons to most of the pants which did not come with them. Can't think of why belts were ever invented for use with suits- they ruin the look.

Jon, gotta give a recommendation for Reiss. Solid suits in a very British cut. Arms are very thin and they’re well lined. Heavier in feel than Suit Supply. Only 2 issues: the fabrics are unidentifiable although feel nice. Also the pants are very odd on cut. Overall they come in a long sleeve and work will for thinner / tall guys. You should check them out!

The pants at :57 and 4:44 looks so nice on you. Love this type pant because I'm not exactly a fan of belts, though, at times they can be like jewelry and dress things up a bit.
Lipstick? Really? I don't see what they see.

Btw what is your waistline and where do you measure it, somewhere below belly button?
And those parts that "stick out" is there some way to hide them or "streamline" them? Because for me they stick out too much. Thanks

The standard is that; a gentleman never wears a belt. However, if you're wearing Chinos, Khakis or other non tailored pants, then a belt is needed. So. that statement must have meant that a gentleman always wears tailored clothing. Just so you know, they are not called side tabs, they are called side adjusters.

BEWARE: I have Oliver Wicks pants with tabs and the tabs are really annoying to me. They metal clasp doesn't have a guide cover (this is hard to explain, basically good tabs have metal that's shaped to guide the tab fabric to stay snug to the waist of the pants), which makes the tabs really stick out. I really don't like this look because it looks like you have two ears sticking out from your waist. You can clearly see this effect in this video. Maybe other people don't care but it bothers me.
