    Time:
McCall estimates how long the fight will take (16 seconds). When he starts the timer on his watch, he counts the number of seconds until the fight starts (9 seconds). When he stops the timer, he subtracts the count from the elapsed time to see how long the fight itself took (28-9=19 seconds) and how close was his estimate.

I usually recommend watching Man on Fire before Equalizer 3, besides being a good movie has a small, but cool, connection between each other. For more Denzel the movie Fallen is pretty good too, and has been largely forgotten...

Yeah, you recognized Teddy (Marton Csokas) from The Lord Of The Rings. He played Celeborn, and as you said Galadriel's (Cate Blanchet) right-hand man (not sure if he was her husband or not). However, he also played an important character in one of the Jason Bourne movies. I don't see that you've reacted to any of those, so I won't go any further into it. He was also in a bunch of other things, including some popular TV shows, but I don't know which ones you've seen.

Denzel is a tad more intense than Edward Woodward. The Equalizer movies are great! If he doesn't want to make more movies, I would suggest they get Chloe Grace Moritz back to take his place. Hit Girl would make a great Equalizer!

Timing yourself in everything is a manner to have a memory of how long it takes to do things so that can be used when calculating variables quickly. It can simply be described as discipline. After first fight scene when he says he is sorry, it is to his dead wife that he promised her in life to leave all this behind.

Robert McCall in this version is a former MARSOC (Marine Special Operations) turned ISA (that is like CIA Special Operators) who faked his death to leave that life behind to honor his wife's dying wish. When your body is stressed, it goes into flight or fight mode. high levels of cortisol and adrenaline are released into the blood stream causing you to perceive time as slowing down. This is really your brain processing sensory input faster. With the right training and experience you cannot just react faster but think in a controlled manner. This is what the camera is trying to explain quickly. Honey has antimicrobial healing properties and has been used for thousands of years for healing.

When you spend the great majority of your adult life in military or intelligence service then it ends, you wish to rejoin the normal of humanity but aren't really sure it is possible, especially if you feel that you must continue to help humanity and atone for all the things you have done that turned out to be a misuse of your talents for crooked politicians. This story makes it seem like a gift from God to find the wish and feel like you belong there with someone capable to take over helping people.
