I have both, knife alone the 140 is 189 grams or 6.6oz and 297 grams or 10.4oz with leather sheath. The 110 is 171 grams or 6oz, and 266 grams or 9.3oz with leather sheath. I can't feel the difference of 1oz or 30 grams on my waist as a grown man!
Interesting, I actually havent weighed them. After whole using both I do feel them. Could be that also the added length of the 140 also plays a role, been more noticeable on on the hip. The 110 is more of a regular Puukko feel. Thanx for watching!
@@OldForestBushcraft I tend to agree that it maybe the length of the 140 that you are feeling rather than its weight. Either way these are great blades and the 110 is a good EDC knife.
Both fantastic Knives! These and Peltonen's are my favorites! True one knife to do it all designs! Either of these will serve the average person for life and do most anything you could expect of a knife! 👍👍
'Either of these will serve the average person for life' Could have not said it better than that! Although as belt knives goes, I do prefere the Peltonen knives, these are fantastic, and slowly becoming true classics that one just can't dismiss. Thanx for watching my friend, and have a great day! Congratulations also on the new president!🇺🇲
Happy to see that you are back to reviewing knives for us. I would like a report on your mushroom foraging season and your favorite fishing equipment, tents, sleeping and cooking equipment. Just to spice up the the view, now and then.
I've moved also to Peltonen side (or have always been, as Im really biased) but these are truly classic knife by now, and great one. But in honesty, oft Varusteleka Terävä series, Skrama is my favorite. Thx for watching my friend!
Good to see a new video from you. I really like my 110. I don't have the 140, but I do have the Peltonen ranger knife, which is similar to the 140. I haven't had the chance to use the Peltonen enough to have an opinion on it. But the 110 is awesome.
Oh, yeah you had the Peltonen too! Such a great knife. I use it much much more than the 140 Jääkäripuukko. This 110 on the other hand seems like a total winner. Thx foe watching my friend, have a great day!
I have the 140, but not the 110. I also have both the longer and shorter of the Peltonen Ranger knives. The one I tend to use most is the short (07) Peltonen, with uncoated blade and plastic sheath. It does everything I could reasonably ask of it whilst on my outdoor adventures in Scotland.
I have tested few times the MO7, but I dont own it. I really should. Dont know why I dont have it to be honest... Good to know your liking. Will most likely get it in near future. Thanx for watching my friend!
These knives both look great. I would also likely prefer the 110. It makes sense to me, looking at the two. Less is often more and a belt knife should feel good on the belt. I recently acquired an unusual Finnish knife, it's a Viper 440C from Terä Akeskus. Are you familiar with the knife or brand?
These are hands down best in class & put to shame many that are twice the price!
Well can't argue with that!😀

@@OldForestBushcraft Couldn't agree more! Peltonen is a little more "Polished/Refined" as they say! Higher quality and attention to detail!

Hi Richard! And thanx for the tip! Have been on my radar to do videos on some of the topics you mentioned.
Thanx for watching, and have a great day!
I love your knife videos. My wife came to Finland last year and loved it. I hope to come to your beautiful country from the US soon

Classics! I love those blades.
Ive kinda moved over to the Peltonen side. I hope peltonen has more models on the way!

My 110 blade has a slight warp to the left as you look down the spine, doesn't affect its use but now I've noticed it annoys me a little.😆
Oh nooo, annoying, sorry to hear that. Mine was pretty much perfect fit and finish.
Thanx for watching mate, and have a great day!
@OldForestBushcraft I also have the Skrama 80. a small knife with big cutting ability. I love it, and it has no warp.😆
Good to see a new video from you 👍 What about a comparison with the M07 Ranger Puukko?
Oh yeah, should do it!
Thx for watching!
I have the Skrama 240 & it is fantastic as a small chopper/machete! Batons fabulous! In general just versatile! Best value in the industry!
Oh yeah, its a fabulous blade for sure! And an amazing value!
Thx for watching!
you should try the 85 mil drop piont or they have sheep foot design also I've carry them also as edc
True, I really should test that one for sure!
Thanx for watching my friend!
I've got these and little neck knife and there 85 mil drop point good knifes
Cool!👍 They are great knives for sure!
