Picamilon is a combination of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA with nicotinic acid (Vitamin B3 or niacin). The addition of niacin allows GABA to cross the blood-brain barrier.

Sounds like a miracle drug. I ordered some since it's been always on my list, and will share my experience shortly, but what I've learnt on different forums is that its effects are mildly pronounced and cannot be compared with Phenibut or benzodiazepines...

Hello, what’s your opinion on how this nootropic will effect the patient with epilepsy. Also what’s your opinion on Vinpocetine for epilepsy? There is new research supporting evidence that Vinpocetine can be third generation anti epileptic medication. Thank you
Neither have been shown to be helpful with epilepsy. Those that have been used for or shown clinical evidence to be helpful with epilepsy include Creatine, Black Seed Oil, Gotu Kola, and CBD Oil.
Can you use this to help one come off of gabapentin since it also affects the GABA receptors: what about using this nootropic while tapering off of clonazepam?

I have been taking tro calm which has picimilon,cbg,cbd, and kava. Felt good the first day, but i drank a glass of alcohol the next day like an idiot after taking the tro calm. I had a crazy panic attack, was shaking uncontrollably, and felt like my body was on fire. Needless to say im not sure what about the mixed caused it to happen to me. I believe alcohol was the issue. Can anyone tell me what might have happened? Thanks
So it is better than vinpacetine and phenylpiracetam to create blood flow to the brain and help create new neurons?
It has been my experience that Vinpocetine is the best way to increase brain blood flow.

Does picamilon cause tiredness like phenibut does? I'm looking for something to increade GABA, but that does NOT cause sleepiness and fatigue like phenibut does. Do you think picamilon is good for that?

@@Daniel-pr4uk At least one study shows that it increases the number of GABA receptors (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9272724/) so it may potentiate the effects of Picamilon.

i took one 50 mg tab and felt nothing ? Is this normal ?
Try 100 mg and if it still produces nothing then maybe this is the wrong supplement for you.

As I understand Picamilon was unfortunately banned in the United States.
Rob, it wasn't banned. The FDA went after some companies including it in supplements without declaring it on the label. Or labeling their supplements incorrectly.
@@NootropicsExpert I have not been able to find it for sale in the U.S. and have read many articles claiming it was banned by the FDA in 2015 and is not permitted to be sold as a dietary supplement. It is also not available as a medical prescription as it is in some other countries. If you know of a source in the U.S. can you share that?
