for some reason i see a connection with this joker and cesar romero’s joker, in my head cesar’s joker is a ww1 vet who eventualy broke down due to the great depression and his ptsd from the war.
Nah, Arthur’s story just ran its course. He was never going to be the psychopathic joker of chaos and destruction that we’ve already been acquainted with. He never had that wish to begin nor the capability imo. The joker isn’t a person, it’s an idea and a mantle that can be wielded by anyone. Arthur was always a broken and abused man which evidently led him to awaken the joker. But what he came to realize at the end is that all he truly wanted was companionship, moreover someone to love him. He got that when he became joker which is why he continued the persona. But as with all illusions, they eventually come crashing down and Arthur soon realized that these people that seemed to adore him only adored the joker and not him. That is why he ultimately relinquished the joker at the end and the mantle was passed to the true joker of carnage we’ve come to expect. This was always Arthur’s story, the joker and everything that unfolded from that was secondary.
@@saltycalmonds yeah bro, but it gets infuriating to see arthur just abandon that persona. While it's logical, it's not satisfactory at all (and this comes from someone who actually liked Joker 2)
You know u lost it all when u listening to this on the regular

Exaclty
Because his suit is done as an homage?
Too many of us were identifying with Arthur in the first movie, apparently.
This is gonna be Americas theme song in a month
Haha
Americans need to come back to this soundtrack about 2-3 years later to feel this theme hit the dot.
It just chaos! Chaos embracing chaos and I love it. Theres a structure of beauty in it's dysfunction.
Listening to this as America tears itself apart
Still thinking of it now
Not much longer now
@CCROGGY idk what will happen now but I'm nervous about it. This entire thing is insane.
Trump 2024
@mooganify I stay out of politics. Not voting, never voting. Whatever happens, happens. It is what it is.
Such a sad backstory ,and the theme is haunting
😂😂😂
@shotgunblues627 why is my comment funny ?
Why so serious? 🤡
Back for some real Joker after watching the sequel.
The music won a well-deserved Oscar. The movie deserved far, far more of those.
I wish they never made the sequel 😢
What sequel? Joker 2019 didnt had a sequel?
