- #Mumbai #Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR), or Mumbai Ahmedabad bullet train , is an under-construction high-speed rail line, which will connect India's economic and financial hub, Mumbai, with the largest city of the state of Gujarat, Ahmedabad. When completed, it will be India's first high-speed rail line.
Construction was expected to begin by April 2020, and the project was expected to be completed by December 2023. Due to delays acquiring land in Maharashtra, a completion date for the whole corridor is uncertain, though the 352 km section through Gujarat will fully open in 2027, after opening the section's 50 km (31 mi) stretch, from Surat to Bilimora, in August 2026.

Bullet train in NE India is a distant dream. Bullet train first should complete the Golden Quadrilateral then only its coming to other parts.
