I have been to Mumbai and I shocked to see the number of high rises in Mumbai, It is astounding. However, If government made more world class highways and metro service in Mumbai then it will definitely become a world class city.

A high-rise building boom, mostly of luxury condos has transformed Mumbai's skyline in recent years and there is more to come. Mumbai's skyline looks starkly different that it did a decade ago. Mumbai City is a global cultural, financial, high-tech, entertainment, glamor, and media center with a significant influence on commerce, health care and life sciences, education, politics, tourism, dining, art, fashion, and sports. The Mumbai metro line 3 built along the lines of the New York subway will transform transit. I do agree though more sidewalks and flyovers will make it more compelling for international visitors.
In next 2-3 years if Metro, coastal road and trans harbour link get done, which mostly it will, Mumbai is going to be amazing for commuting and staying!

Sorry, Mumbai is nowhere close to being an international city. No focus on cleanliness and elimination of garbage. World class cities are so because the people who live in them keep them that way. Public spaces are treated very cruelly across India. And Mumbai is no exception. Changing peoples’ mindset is not something that can be achieved in a generation. If we start educating youngsters now about public hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation, it will take atleast three generations for the mindset to change. And that’s 75 years on an average.
It’s nothing to do with educated. Most educated indians throw garbage in streets. If you go to hilly areas, even uneducated ones won’t throw any garbage or lot less than people in rest of india. It’s more related to culture than education

Hum kabhi bhi Singapore , China se compare nahi kar payenge jab tak humari civic sense nahi sudhrenge. Jaise continous car honking, public places pe thukna , following lane discipline while driving . Itne basic cheeze bhi sudhar li to bahut badhiya hoga.
Bro you have covered just 5% percent of the city, out of which 90 percent was south Mumbai that too the in afternoon, non peak hours - non traffic. kabhi aaa evening me Saki Naka, or jogeshwari JVLR towards Powai, or Chembur Link Road, or malad Goregaon Link Road. all roads are dug up, half of the roads are shut down. there is no place to drive or walk. Most of the foot paths are filled with hawkers, so people walk on the road, to cater the public, the auto rickshaws surround them, there is no place for cars, and hence traffic jam. evening time anywhere you go in Mumbai, its a nightmare. The metro work will go on for another 5 years, as confirmed by one of the people in authority, that's the current target, do you even realise, what people are going through everyday. Referring to cleanliness, there is one signal in Kandivali, the people living around in that area dump all the garbage on that signal, and animals flock there creating a ruckus leading a traffic jam everyday, its been going on since 15 years that I can see. Well the list will go on and on. Yes there are few good things, that's why we are living here, and with the hope that one day things will improve. But calling it DUBAI - not yet. Abhi bahot time baaki hai. for that you need to spend few months in both the cities, and cover all parts to make such a statement. Cheers

I live in Dubai, Mumbai transport is nothing compared to Dubai. Mumbai still uses old outdated Taxis Maruti Wagon R , but Dubai has cars like Toyota Camry, Lexus ES350, BMW (EMIRATES). Indian roads afcourse are rough with potholes in every 2- 5km. Sri lanka, which is not as rich as India, still has far better roads and vehicles.
Don't be arrogant sitting on easy, lucky oil money, Dubai is nothing but a gas station of the world 😂 Mumbai is made by hard work, no cheap money. Just a matter of time before dubai crumbles when world won't need fossil fuel much.

It’s nothing to do with educated. Most educated indians throw garbage in streets. If you go to hilly areas, even uneducated ones won’t throw any garbage or lot less than people in rest of india. It’s more related to culture than education

Bro you have covered just 5% percent of the city, out of which 90 percent was south Mumbai that too the in afternoon, non peak hours - non traffic. kabhi aaa evening me Saki Naka, or jogeshwari JVLR towards Powai, or Chembur Link Road, or malad Goregaon Link Road. all roads are dug up, half of the roads are shut down. there is no place to drive or walk. Most of the foot paths are filled with hawkers, so people walk on the road, to cater the public, the auto rickshaws surround them, there is no place for cars, and hence traffic jam. evening time anywhere you go in Mumbai, its a nightmare. The metro work will go on for another 5 years, as confirmed by one of the people in authority, that's the current target, do you even realise, what people are going through everyday. Referring to cleanliness, there is one signal in Kandivali, the people living around in that area dump all the garbage on that signal, and animals flock there creating a ruckus leading a traffic jam everyday, its been going on since 15 years that I can see. Well the list will go on and on. Yes there are few good things, that's why we are living here, and with the hope that one day things will improve. But calling it DUBAI - not yet. Abhi bahot time baaki hai. for that you need to spend few months in both the cities, and cover all parts to make such a statement. Cheers

I live in Dubai, Mumbai transport is nothing compared to Dubai. Mumbai still uses old outdated Taxis Maruti Wagon R , but Dubai has cars like Toyota Camry, Lexus ES350, BMW (EMIRATES).
Indian roads afcourse are rough with potholes in every 2- 5km. Sri lanka, which is not as rich as India, still has far better roads and vehicles.
Don't be arrogant sitting on easy, lucky oil money, Dubai is nothing but a gas station of the world 😂 Mumbai is made by hard work, no cheap money. Just a matter of time before dubai crumbles when world won't need fossil fuel much.
