For the 3rd coin in power trip, I have an idea. After clicking 4 times, it shows the coin, but the coin is moved back so it looks like you're chasing it. So the coin will be on the end of the level, meaning using the skip won't give you the third coin.

There is actually another skip you can do in power trip. when you are in wave for the first time, after going through the teleport portal TWO times, a small area in the wall will open up just before you go into mirror mode. going through this area will allow you to complete the level in an empty, open and free area where you can spam, or rest to the end while still enjoying the music.
I love serious tone videos with some irony underlying. Never really thought GD could take into that kind of direction, then... shocker! Colon did it. I've been a fan for a while and this was truly a journey. Seeing him grow and be a part of it! Best wishes, buddy.

I think the other harmless bugs like those in Clubstep, and the missing spikes and other stuff really give a character to the main levels and make them feel like they were made by Robtop. I'm happy that you said that the skip doesn't need to be fixed because people actually like it. It's nice that you were able to see the bigger picture instead of just thinking of it as another problem to be fixed:)
Rob also fixed the fact that your percentage goes back when going back in the power trip wave part and stuff. This is a small change but made the show percentage button more useful.

in the new update there's a new "secret way" on power trip in the first wave part, you just have to go up to the teleport portal but then go down before it teleports you and for some reason that lets you avoid getting reversed so you get to skip the entire rest of the level
Colon, the "ORD" thing... that's actually a thing called "Order". It's used when a pad or orb that isn't set to Multi-Activate has a Reverse on it. I discovered it while playing 2.2 Unlocked. There's a setting on the Editor Pause Menu called "Record Order", and that actually should be turned on.

Another bug that robtop should NOT fix in 2.2: in the spider, with normal gravity, if you reverse your gravity to be upside-down, then on impact with the platform, if you hit a size change portal at the same time, you will have reversed your gravity but the icon will get confused and think that you haven't.
11:09 bro the mario community (especially Mario Maker) calls a path made by the level developer to make it easier (it's usually just a hidden block with a vine so that pretty much only the developer knows about it) a "dev path". And any unintentional shortcuts (like the skip in Power Trip) "cheese". It's definitely better than whatever tf "secret way" means.
I noticed 2 things in power trip: 1:in the 2nd coin the 2nd orb is a kinda tricky timing, not because it's hard, but because you wouldn't expect it to be a timing, so you might buffer it and just die, and remain a little confused. 2: when you do the spider secret way, you complete the level when the percentage on the progress bar is still at 96%, because the bar measures the lenght of the level how it should be without the skip, that has a part that goes back right after, while with the skip you just go forwards
The new collectables you receive in meltdown / sub 0 don't get loaded into regular gd. It just sets those icons to default. I'm sure this will change when 2.2 comes out.

One of the first times I've seen a dev/dev team watch a video on why the game has a specific flaw, and go out of their way to fix it. Rob, I'm sorry for all the mean things that 8 year old me shouted at you over the third level.
While it is incredibly cool that Rob actually listened, fixing the coins and making Nock Em less... ramming your face into every wall to see what happens. The new Power Trip coins kind of bug me. It's like the coins turned from being lazy to being like an Early 2.0 level where it moves right after you jump and you have to react instantly, or just throwing an Alpha trigger over the route. I do prefer the new Power Trip coins (especially the third coin since it was dumb that it was given to you at the end), but playing through them for the first time gave me visions of earlier worse days for the GD Community. also 3:53 i can't believe my half-baked theory was actually correct, i made that assumption because of rob talking about how he had a schedule for 2.2 in like 2019 where he was gonna push out a World update in time for Christmas if 2.2 released on time.

I think the last coin of Power Trip should be moved to the 'spider skip' part. Instead of skipping the rest of the level, there should be a path that gives you the coin and brings you back.
I think a better way to express the third coin in power trip would be to reveal that the coin is there, but just leave it out of reach if you didn’t tap there to make it easier for casual players know that there is something there.
I feel like Power Trip’s third coin could be improved by adding a single spike. The way the text flashes when you jump could give a hint as to how the coin works.

Nevermind, that's a gameplay bug. Rob put some blocks there because sometimes when you enter a portal while being the Wave, your Y Axis depends on where you're going. For example: If you hold up when entering a portal, you'll fly up after entering it then the same goes for when you're entering the portal while going down.
Personally I'd make it so that Power Trip's second coin kept the invisible part, but made it so that instead of getting launched into the coin, you'd fall into the rainbow which would make you fall into the coin, like what you suggested.
@@ninjapenguin3804 To get the second coin you need to fly between two electric balls in the second swingcopter, where the electricity between them is slightly darker. It reveals the coin together with additional 3 balls to connect everything and disallows you to exit the level
There is another way to skip power trip completely breaking it as well. This skip is located in the wave portal where you can skip and have no objects stopping you

10:09 this video is ages old but i just wanna say that in power trip you can skip the level from like 50% in the wave part, you need to skip the portal at the top, then hold to pass the slope with that smiley face and it will take you to 100%.

I think the last coin of Power Trip should be moved to the 'spider skip' part. Instead of skipping the rest of the level, there should be a path that gives you the coin and brings you back.

I think a better way to express the third coin in power trip would be to reveal that the coin is there, but just leave it out of reach if you didn’t tap there to make it easier for casual players know that there is something there.
I feel like Power Trip’s third coin could be improved by adding a single spike. The way the text flashes when you jump could give a hint as to how the coin works.
The dedication RobTop puts into his games because of the community is amazing. Some creators / companies just flat out ignore their community, especially big names like Nintendo. This is an amazing change and I cannot thank you enough, GD Colon for MAKING THIS A REAL THING! You basically just changed the game unintentionally, amazing work xD.

Nevermind, that's a gameplay bug. Rob put some blocks there because sometimes when you enter a portal while being the Wave, your Y Axis depends on where you're going. For example: If you hold up when entering a portal, you'll fly up after entering it then the same goes for when you're entering the portal while going down.
Personally I'd make it so that Power Trip's second coin kept the invisible part, but made it so that instead of getting launched into the coin, you'd fall into the rainbow which would make you fall into the coin, like what you suggested.

@@ninjapenguin3804 To get the second coin you need to fly between two electric balls in the second swingcopter, where the electricity between them is slightly darker. It reveals the coin together with additional 3 balls to connect everything and disallows you to exit the level

There is another way to skip power trip completely breaking it as well. This skip is located in the wave portal where you can skip and have no objects stopping you
