Vintique Motors is thrilled to present this custom 1981 Suzuki GS650GL cafe!
This custom '81 Suzuki GS650GL was built by Upcycle Garage in 2019 in which they dubbed the build the "Beach Cruiser". It is finished in two-tone turquoise and surf blue and is powered by its factory 673cc inline four-cylinder engine rated at 73hp paired to a 5-speed manual transmission with an enclosed driveshaft. Modifications include polished velocity stacks for each of the four Mikuni carburetors and a custom four-into-one exhaust system fabricated from stainless steel with pie-cut bends and a low-mount silencer.
Equipment includes a leather solo saddle, a custom monoshock and swingarm, a Motogadget m-Unit digital control system, LED lighting, a hydraulic clutch conversion, a lowered fork, clip-on handlebars, four Mikuni carburetors with velocity stacks, disc brakes, and a custom four-into-one stainless-steel exhaust system.
A custom rear subframe houses a brake light and carries a solo saddle trimmed in black quilted and distressed leather. An aftermarket headlight is tucked between the triple trees and wears a black lens cover. White-painted alloy wheels measuring 19″ front and 16″ rear wear Bridgestone Trail Wing and Duro tires, respectively. The leading-axle fork features a 3″ drop, and the swingarm has been reinforced and adapted to utilize a monoshock and linkage from a 2003 Yamaha R6. Single disc brakes at both ends feature rotors safety-wired to the wheels.
Clip-on handlebars mounted below the top triple clamp feature push-button controls, red Biltwell grips, LED bar-end turn signals, and radial master cylinders for the front brake and hydraulic clutch. The stock fuse panel, relays, and switches have been replaced with a digital Motogadget m-Unit, which is located beneath the fuel tank and controlled via a smartphone app. An aftermarket 85-mph speedometer has been relocated to alongside the fuel tank. The five-digit odometer shows 1,421 miles, which is mileage since the bike was completed in 2019.
Do not miss this opportunity to acquire this incredible build!
