Just bought a 1982 GS650GL sat in a garage for 23 years, been messing with it for more than a week now, have 2 pilot jets stuck and they broke when I tried to take them out, it's been fighting me every step of the way. I'm learning about this stuff as I go so it's pretty frustrating. I love how supportive she is.
The bike sounds way happier now and has much more power I'd still go through the carbs clean all the passages with compressed air & carb cleaner & clean the bottom bowls & clean the pilot jet & main jet the bike will improve so much more but it does sound really nice & it is a good looking bike have a great weekend #2WheelFamily 👊 💨
Before you go thru the carbs run some Berrymans B12 fuel system cleaner thru it. B12 is one of the stronger cleaners out there. Kept my Honda Valkyrie with 6 carbs running great for the 10 years and 80k miles. Put a whole can in a half tank of gas. Run it to get it in the carbs then let it sit and it will do it's magic . Keep the rpm's low so it goes thru the smaller jets .
Love the vids guys I cant stop watching. I have been wanting to get a bike for myself but deals here are just not right. Do you know any websites or people that I could get connected with to ship out a bike? I live on an island in the middle of the pacific so shipping will probably be costly.
hey thanks for following the channel I've never shipped a motorcycle overseas before so I don't know of any websites that offer that service you should check on Google and call a few places
Where you at Guam?? Might want to check Forwardair. If you purchase a bike in the states the seller can work with you to strap the bike down in a crate and lock it up and send it to you.
i don't at this time you should check on eBay , Craigslist and Facebook marketplace all good places to find a replacement motor or s complete parts bike for dirt cheap
Idk why but i could honestly see you getting some chopper from the show american chopper or some other brand, unless thats not really your kind of thing which is honestly pretty understandable🤣
@2wheelfamily493 aye dope i love sports bikes as well. I was looking at a chopper for sale here in Mission and when I went to go check it out, that mf was impractical asf. No rear suspension so your spine is pretty much the suspension💀

Now I'll have the Katana 750f Ninja 636r and the Yamaha haven't received it but maybe you can identify it for me but it looks like that closely
