Brings back memories of my 1981 Suzuki gs650 gl. All I had was hand tools to work on it though and I remember the time and effort using bronze wool to clean up the chrome. Great video!
I wish my $280 Australian Dollar GS650 looked half as good as the bike as you got it. I'm yet to pull the carbs apart but I know I'm in for a chore and a half. The tank has rust on the inside and out. Hasn't ran for 5 years. My favourite bit is all the questionable bike parts that the previous owner integrated onto the bike hahah. Love the way yours turned out, hopefully mine wont be a bear to even get on the road. Cheers
haha okay then. will do. and this video was an afterthought! just decided to dig up a few clips that we both took to send to eachother while working on the bike! decided it would make a cool video ;-)
Great job! I noticed you didn't have the stock nameplates on the tank and side covers. Where did you get those? Looks really nice. Newfoundland & Labrador... what a beautiful place. I haven't gone there yet but it's on my bucket list!
Hey I know this is an old video, but I have a question! Mine sits at about 3000rpm in neutral once it’s warmed up. Any ideas on how to make sure it doesn’t do that anymore?

Thank you for:
- Your GS650 video.
- The Labrador Retrievers.
The "after" bike looked almost like new. Great restoration job on the bike........Take care, Bluefin.
Thanks Bluefin. It was a great father/ son project. I'll admit, Dad was the financial backing to the project! haha
This was my very first motorcycle, somebody had added saddlebags and a windshield, got me up and down the road quite a bit,

Hi Kyle, some years later and still looking this video. Love what you did on this bike. Do you have any one similar to this one for sale?
Nice Bike! i'd replace those bars though, get some nice stock ones
I know this video is 4 years old but I may have found one in my town that’s in good shape and I think I’m gonna get it.
I need to rail it, it allows you to turn on the dash so that you can turn it on by pressing the button
the thumbnail made me think this was newfoundland, watching the first minute of the video confirmed it XD
What a bike! thanks for sharing!

Your carbs should have an idle adjustment screw that will alter that rpm!
@@kyle_noseworthy much appreciated!
Thanks for the video I’ll be trying this over the weekend
