What’s the alternative for Electoral bonds. Taking cash from unknown persons, increasing limits for candidates, state funding based on votes polled in favour of candidates, subjecting the accounts of political parties to audit by CAG. There might be any number of ideas which SC should have spelt out if they wanted to scrap electoral bonds. Govt did not appraise them or they did not want to be appraised?
