Except it couldn't be farther from the truth. Just proves he didn't watch 2 Nuggets games in the last 3 seasons. Jokić is in great shape, he makes every defender tired and he makes fastbreaks like it's nothing. Watch him play and then tell me if he is slow.

Regardless of what happens in this finals, I really hope jokic keeps this up. He is doing so much for the sport. He does everything right and isn't a ballhog either. Its amazing.
His style of play really doesn't require high athleticism. Don't get me wrong, he is strong in the paint and that's why he can push through against other centers in the league. But most of his shot selections, passes, outplays, and etc are all from his IQ and court vision. So I really don't see him dropping off anywhere in the near future.
He might be the best all around offensive player in NBA history. He can do everything: elite passing, elite finishing, elite mid range, elite post game, great 3 point shooting and good free throw shooter.
This is the real discussion to have. I always am amazed people still have the nerve to ask “Is he the best big man passer ever?” The guy is in the discussion for best passer ever, and best offensive engines ever.

In 2021 in the Brooklyn vs Milwakee series luck and injuries were the only reason Giannis won. KD nearly beat him with a bunch of nobodies. Giannis just doesn't have that type of skill. Even a 38 yo Lebron is better on offense. There are many games where it feels like Its 4 v5 on offense for Milwakee cause of Giannises inability to shoot.

Took him a Finals appearance on top of 2 consecutive MVPs to finally get the respect he deserves. And the best part is that he doesn't dominate the ball, even as the centerpoint of the Nuggets offense. Beautiful basketball.

The finals are crazy you never really know how it's going to play out unless you got Jordan on the other team. The thing is is they are both good teams it would just be really nice to see the two-time MVP bringing a trophy. If Jimmy ends up winning this he's legitimately Michael Jordan's forgotten son. I'm hoping that Denver wins in a sweet simply because it'll put all the haters to rest but I wouldn't be surprised if the heat turn it up. I got Denver winning in five but hoping for the sweep

Best passer ever - debatable, but his name has to be in the convo. Magic, Bird & Nash come to mind too. For me it's Bird or Jokic, but Jokic makes more decisions, so I give him the edge, but I can see an argument for Magic too.
Highest BB IQ ever - Him, Magic or Bird. LBJ, Rondo, Kidd, Draymond Green, all up there too. It was noteworthy how far behind LBJ seemed defensively vs Jokic though, reading the play only too late.
Best touch ever - I buy that.
Best player ever - I want to buy this. But does the offensive goatness outweigh the defensive shortcomings enough? I think he's definitely a top 5 all time player, with an outside GOAT case, but I personally want to see him play better defense before I am ready to call him the best ever. Maybe the best ever. Now I will mention few things that Jordan can't do as great as Jokic. Jokic is better 3 point shooter in regular season and for now he is MILES better 3 point shooter in play offs and he is center, just think about that. He is much more efficient scorer than Jordan and I don't want to heard the fact that he doesn't shoot all the time mid-range shots like Jordan does, he is a center, well guess what??? Shaq was the center with highest FG% in his career ever. Shaq never averaged 25 points on 60% from the field, never. Jokic this year did it on 64% from the field while taking much more threes and more mid-range shots than Shaq. And first of all, centers aren't supposed to shoot soo great from the free throw line like Jokic. Shaq was horrible free throw shooter, Dwight was even worse (nobody talks about that), Hakeem I'm not gonna say terrible, but he was not good at making them... Nikola Jokic makes 83% od his free throws as a center, he averages 55-56% from the field in his career and he averages 41,2% FROM 3 POINT RANGE IN HIS PLAY OFF CAREER on 4,4 attemps per game. That's astonishing, those numbers are from another universe. Combine all of that with the fact that Jokic is much productive passer than Jokic, he makes everyone around him with his passes better, everyone. And like I said he also grabes a lot of offensive rebounds which is part of his offensive game soo everything combined... Jokic is the most versatile offensive player ever. I'm not talking about scoring, to say he is the best scorer that's really, really debatable, there were many players in history who can put them ahead of Jokic right now when we talk about scoring, but when we talk abiut complete offensive package, that's it... There is nothing he can't do.
