Instead of trading for Beal they should've added pieces to the other 2 stars but instead they traded away everyone to add Beal when they did not need him at all
Exactly.. Book and KD did more solo.. So idk what they were thinking
@@jvtopflight796 . They didn't need Beal at all it was a stupid move

Beal was fools gold. Putting up good numbers on a bad team with zero expectations.
It's funny that people made a big deal and thought that Beal would put the Suns over the top and win a Title..His contract is horrible as well..The Suns are cooked
@@OCPARKWAY don't blame him for a trash team with no depth, if he did all that on a trash team, imagine what he coulda done if with a healthy season. That said they traded away depth

They just met their match. Minnesota is going to be everyone’s match. The Denver series is going to be insane.

I disliked the fact that Booker turned PG. Made him less lethal. The Suns should have gotten an elite PG instead of Beal.
an elite PG like chris paul?

Blame Isiah Thomas for that one. Ishbia took his best friend's advice. That same guy who fked up the Knicks for a decade.
@@jobunaga4178 they didn’t want his contract, and they would’ve waived him if they couldn’t find a trade destination for him. Beal was the best option available to make the salaries work in a trade at the time. That’s the context. They rebuilt the roster bc they kept getting blown out at home in the playoffs and obviously needed a major shakeup, and they didn’t have a lot of trade assets to work with, given all the picks they gave up to get KD, so the pieces to move were CP and Ayton. GM just sucks miserably at constructing a complete team that can compete in the playoffs against healthy teams.
they dont have a pg and are tiny and dont have one elite defender
So they barely talk about Kevin Durants legacy about getting swept but just the other day they bash Lebron about being swept by the defending champions. Makes sense.

I mean that happens a lot in every sport. Denver was supposed to be a contender with Russell Wilson.
KD asking for a trade during the offseason confirmed
KD to TWolves
That big 3 doesn’t work, one of them has to go, probably Beal. I’d, try to get an actual point guard, or a defensive wing.
Beal has a no trade clause, try again 😂 Oh and Devin Booker supposed to be the cornerstone of the franchise so ur not gonna trade him which means u really only have KD as a tradable asset who’s about to be 36. Good luck getting much back for him. 😂
Beal has $150 million guaranteed and a no trade clause so unless they somehow are able to restructure that contract he’s not going anywhere. KD and/or Book are the only options to go somewhere and that’s not saying much right now.
You right 1 outta 2..jus need defender in grayson allen spot
Beal has a no trade clause.Question Royce Oneel or Landry Shammett?
@@adh2298 If you're Beal would you want to stay on the Suns? He's clearly the odd man out. Why wouldn't he want to leave? the 3rd player in the big 3 always has the biggest drop off. Beal doesn't want to be the guy that has to defend, and make hustle plays. If I'm Beal I'd leave that team
One of the worst front office decisions of all time. Their GM should not only be fired but also sued
The front office isn’t the issue it’s the owner. He made them trade for beal
The first thing Matt Ishbia did was trade everything for KD. He then started listening to Isaiah Thomas, the guy who bankrupted the CBA, on what other things he should do. Not listening to his GM or anyone else, he traded for Beal. Now, we are dealing with the results of all those poor decisions.
yep just decimated their roster getting kd. they had something really nice brewing, they got impatient and thought a star would do it
Nope. Teams dont get it. One scorer is all you need, the rest need to play great roles. 3 guys that ONLY score is embarrassingly stupid
As a suns fan, it's been brutal man.

We're living a a time people think things will happen same time. It takes time for teams to build chemistry.
The same team the Suns are playing against right now, all these reporters laugh at last year.
These reporters are killing the enjoyment out of this sport it's always win now, win now, win now, like they know what it takes to build chemistry as athletes.
I’m actually impressed of how good the lakers been playing,it could have easily been a tie series
You might as well blow it up to try and recoup some draft capital. You can’t have 3 guys on max contracts anymore due to the CBA rules. So they’ll never be able to get any good role players. There’s still plenty of teams who would want DBook, KD, and Beal.
GM and coach are inadequate. Nurk isn't playable in the playoffs. Portland knew that. So you get him to start at C, but as a coach you don't need to play him. You see film, analyze your players, and see that he can't handle the speed to play passable level playoff D.
Frank Vogel cannot be blamed for this. They don't have any defenders. So how can he be blamed?
He absolutely is part of the blame. He’s supposed to be a defensive coach but has an offense heavy roster. So why can’t he get them to play better defense? Josh Okogie has been great on defense but frank only plays him when it’s already too late
I agree they traded ALL their best defensive players like Bridges, Ayton, Crowder and now they wonder why their defense is bad lol
You know how bad coach he was in the Lakers do you he will improve immediately

Vogel played a washed up Eric Gordon 39 mins in an elimination game. Let that sink in.. this dude can’t coach
they RUINED their team trading for KD. Anyone with a brain saw that. They had a great young core when they went to the Finals vs Bucks
few years later BOTH those teams are ruined. Wont come close to a title with their current roster, both need radical changing now.
They chose to chase stars, not create a team. Fans should be livid with both gms
No sir.. The Book and KD combo gave the Nuggets they best series last season.. Just needed to add better role players
funny cause there both playing like trash in broklyn and the nba was so much different back then , that suns team in 2021 wouldn't even make it past the first round in todays NBA
They made it the finals then got embarrassed the next year and were middle of the pack season after that. That core reached it's potential together

It's weird because after the first season of the Timberwolves with Gobert, it was more like, worst trade in history etc... They didn't have the chance to have "they haven't played enough together yet". Gobert came out of 9 years with the Jazz, with the same coach, he did not have time to have automatisms with Ant and co since he was on the French team for the World Cup at the time of his trade. But hey it's Gobert and Timberwolves, it's not Durant, Booker and Beal for the Suns.
You know how the Heat did it back in 2011? It wasn't just the Big 3, which included Lebron in his absolute prime. It's because they had a young Mario Chalmers on a 700K contract. He wasn't a star, but he had his moments and was good enough. They had Udonis Haslem who stuck around the Heat til he was 40 cuz he was such a good leader. That still wasn't enough though. What brought them the championship was Shane Battier as a 3 and D guy, and Ray Allen as the 90% free throw shooter when the game was on the line. And a defensive minded coach in Erik Spoelstra. This is what happens you give up your defensive players for more offense. You end up like the Suns and the Lakers. Lakers gave up Caldwell Pope and Caruso for bigger names. The Suns gave up Deandre Ayton and Chris Paul (he's old but veteran leadership) for Bradley Beal.
KD should have never let the media and the haters get to him and stayed in golden state! That was the best basketball played in the NBA over the last 10-15 years!!
Wilbon speaks the truth. Finally, you come across "REAL MEDIA" who speaks the truth. I'm a 40+ year Suns fan who went to games with my Dad in the early 70's and watch Paul Westphal, Sweet D, Larry Nance, Kyle Macy, and the list goes on. This team is flawed and the lack of cohesion and effort by far the worst I have ever seen in the purple and orange. Each of the SMALL 3 in their own right is a good/great player, but together they are worst that horrible. How about I say "horrendous". Out of all 3 (and I don't mean to compare, but since someBODIES have to go) I'd say the least of the 3 (no disrespect Beal) has been the most willing to adjust and brings it every game. The fact that he has a "No Trade-Clause" and the Suns being in the 2nd apron of Max Cap-space, in order to make this team relevant again (I can't believe I am even saying this given we had Jae Crowder, the Twins, Cam Payne, Ayton, and Most Importantly our Culture-Changer Point Gawd CP3) Book and KD will have to go. Truth be told, you really can't keep either given the roster construction and financial issues. Brad is a true Shooting Guard, so we need to use one of our most valuable trade assets to get a primed PG. I've said it before, I would use KD (4 yrs $194M) in a trade to get Ja Morant (5yrs $197M) and a boat load of picks... Id trade Devin Booker (4 yrs $228M) to Houston for Jalen Green (4yr $40M), Jabari Smith Jr (4yrs $40M), Dillon Brooks (4yr 80M), and resign Isaiah Thomas as your back up PG... We would still need to address the center position and find a trade partner for Nurk and Damien Lee as we lack athleticism at the rim. I truly believe keeping Bol Bol and letting him grow into the teams PF with his length he should be able to offset the opponents power/strength. Lastly, if we could steal Joathan Issac away from Orlando, we would have rebuilt our entire roster with youth and DAWGS. AGAIN, nothing happens until KD and BOOK get traded. I surely hope we don't go into next season with the same roster, and expect a different result.
You're delusional if you think anybody thinks Kevin Durant is worth that much at this point in his career
Any preschool teacher could have told you that pairing that many brats on one squad isnt going to work out well unless everything is going good all the time.

The New Suns owner must be furious. He made so many drastic moves just to be swept in the first round.
That also shows you that Monty Williams wasn't the problem.
IMAGINE PAYING BRADLEY BEAL 50 MILL A YEAR LMFAO 😂
James Jones is fired. The defensive weaknesses were glaring since the Beal trade. They need a very astute mind to fill those gaps cheaply.
Anthony Edwards is a very confident young player. He knew he had confident players around him. So he just dominated the Suns. No one could stop him including the coaching staff. Just couldn't do anything to stop this young phenom. The Suns have evaluate the whole team. I myself would have went after ja Morant. And Jason Tatum. Then went and got one of the lopez twins. And if not ja Morant then fred van vleet. But the suns were outplayed both offensive and defensive. So this new owner needs some consultation for next year. Coaches and players.
Turn the darn music DOWN
An entire career has shown that KD is over rated and unable to carry a team to a championship. He will go down as the most over rated and washed super star in history. Had to leave OKC to join a team that beat them the previous year to win rings.

As crazy as it sounds I think you have to explore trading Booker. Beal with a no trade and Durant at 36 means by default Booker is your best asset. I’m not saying trade him but you have to explore what you could get for him and reset the franchise. Maybe 2 rotation players and 3-4 picks.
Its kinda crazy phoenix hasnt gone small more consistently. You have to play Kd at the 5. They have no other moves to make.
Cannot run it back means nothing to Bradley "no trade clause" Beal!

I just wish they'd give Isaiah Thomas a chance to start at PG ngl, Devin Booker is around 6,6 and is a pretty good defender nowadays so I think putting him at SF would work out okay and then you could just leave Bradley Beal on SG. Don't think it'd lead to a championship but would give them a better chance to dominate offensively due to improved playmaking.
Why should the coach bite it. This team is poorly constructed. Owner is an idiot who thinks he can just throw money around. What part of that is the coaches fault?
1:37 is it me or was Malaika padding Woj😂
The funniest thing about coaching in the NBA is that if the Bucks were smart enough to fire Doc Rivers. Some other team would give him a job because all the older starts in Lakers/Suns and etc hate working with young coaches
The wolves weren’t planing on losing the first round. Too many good players that just click together. Ant is transforming into an all time Playoff performer. Pacers are second with a gentleman’s sweep. Unfortunately, Suns bench and coaching are awful.
Bro they got isiah Thomas for a guard ..... they need bigs and to play bol Bol more
The Phoenix Suns were the strongest when they had #DeAndreAyton as a center.
Then the organization did some weird stuff and now they are like Brooklyn Nets 2.0 with KD, Kyrie & Harden.
if only they consider jrue holiday, maybe there will be a three team deal between the suns, bucks and blazers.
Phoenix was in the NBA finals with a young, growing team. Kind of like Minnesota now. Somehow they turned a young growing team, into an old washed up team in the blink of an eye.
Wilbon isn’t providing analysis. He’s just saying “Lakers and Suns just aren’t good enough.” OG, why? Give us basketball reasons. This is why professional players get mad at traditional media critics.
Bradley Beal deserves most of the blame, he has played horrible, he’s overrated, overpaid, that trade was flat out terrible for the suns
Three superstars are 0-3 in playoffs. Wow. How does that happen? If they still had KP they would be much better.
The only bright side to this suns season ending is the weather in Phoenix.
I just hate the fact that there’s 10 minute videos of Lakers down 3-0 but 2 minute clips of Suns bout to lose. Suns losing in R1 is an EPIC FAILURE
Phoenix needs to add 2-3 younger legs on rotation. Keep the big 3+nurkic :)
Nurkic is trash ! They can’t even keep him on the court !
No talk about KD’s Legacy? No talk about him pulling up from 30? No talk about his bag or his “swag” pull up jumper? Where is all the KD (anti-LeBron) fan who told me he was at top 10 player and better than LeBron because he could shoot mid range jumpers?

The way Malika talks over the expert analysts is annoying AF. Dont know why she still here.smh
Big 3. These GM’s have no clue at times. U have no legit pg. KD needs an all star team around him a BIG 5. Beal hasn’t played in any significant playoff series in years and poor Booker should ask to get outta there he had his chance when they lost to Milwaukee but this was a disaster from jump.
Ownership blew this one. Names aren't always the answer😮
Firing frank vogel after one year is hilarious lol they would just have to run it back. How you not gonna be in it.
The biggest problem is Devin Booker KD none of them know how to play proper defense they’re always backing up from the office of player or the simply just letting them drive on into the basket, and the worst situation is when they allow the ball to be a magnet, and forget about the offense of player on the three-point line. The young owner hired a bad coach at the same time and this team thinks that their office of capability to make up for the gaps in their defense, which, obviously they haven’t realize that they can’t do it
The suns and Lakers also 76ers if bucks right now disappoint in the playoffs
It’s funny that they’re blaming Frank Vogel when he never put this roster together and if he’s given an opportunity to actually coach a real contending team, he actually has success. See LA and Indiana
They should have kept CP.
The fact Stephen A said Devin Booker is the next Kobe doesnt get talked about enough. Kobe would have figured a way to get the job done. Book aint even the alpha on a team he been on his entire career-not sayin Booker doesnt have that dog in him, but he is NOT/FAR from “kobe bryant”-esque
It is going to be a long off-season in Phoenix
Frank Vogel isn't the only problem. The GM quota hire needs to go too.
Frank Vogel may be a bad coach but he didn't construct this team. Why isn't James Jones responsible or to blame? He assembled the team and brought Beal in which which nobody agrees with in hindsight.
They got a no choice but run it again and hopefully stay healthy so they can build chemistry and add some depth to the front court.
chemistry doesn't matter. there isn't a single dog on the suns roster.
Frank Vogel should go coach the Bucs. 😂
Where did CP3 depart Phoenix? Aedin
What I love the most is how all those reporters were going all in and saying the Suns are the team to beat, and were ignoring the Champions (Nuggets) now we are talking disgrace, what do you expect when you have three great players and neither one of them are making any sacrifices, look at when the Suns play, it is KD go off, then Booker go off, then Bradley, while the others are just watching it, and are not being involved at all, and teams are now getting taller and big men’s now can step outside and guard, so that creates a bit of a difficulty for KD and the Suns Centers cannot stop no other centers, and are not scoring inside, KD, Booker and Beal, will be just fine next year, same for Dame and Giannis, it’s all new and injury played a huge factor, look at how many games those three guys played together, no chemistry equal terrible result, so one year where everything is known and the front office have to surround those guys with a few dogs on the bench. They need a Mikal Bridges type guy, good to be a one, but don’t mind being just another player in the same process.
Well, I guess this is it for us tonight. #Suns
2 years ago: The trade for Gobert is the worst in sports history and the Wolves lack of 1st rnd picks will bury them. plus Rudy/Kat cant work in todays NBA. Didnt hear anything comparable about the Suns Beal trade to create the Big 3 scoring machine.

Can’t run it back?! They don’t really have a choice.
Someone needs to stand in front of a firing squad for giving Beal a no trade clause
This team is poorly constructed. No point guard, no defenders other than a couple role players, lack of size, lack of bench depth….yet it’s all Vogel’s fault. If I’m Vogel I’m hoping they fire me. This team is hamstrung and cooked
Can't blame DeAndre 😂
There is only one way for Suns to make up for that humuliation: $60 millions pay cut in every single bums of stars they got😂.Now Giannis, Jokic, Butter have passed KD in my all time list. Next might be Tatum.
I remember when Stephen a said KD was the best player in the league 😂😂😂😂 LMFAOOOOOO
so when does kevin durant demand a trade to a new team?
Book cannot shake the Luka/Kardashian voodoo…
They didn't need Beal. They was a ridiculous move. Instead of building around KD and Booker, they went out and got another offensive player instead of defense and a true point guard. They would have been better off keeping Chris Paul. The GM screwed them for the next 6 years.
Let’s go Wolves!
KD deserves this, it's beautiful. The damage he did to the league with his cowardly leap onto the Warriors causes me to feel NOTHING.
So Stephen an and wilbon are fine blaming Vogel but they don’t wanna blame Darvin ham? I wonder why……
Suns never needed a Big 3.. They needed a bench after what they did Vs Denver.. Book and KD was going crazy on the Nuggets but had no consistent help
Beal was supposed to be that help
