How Xal'atath got her elf body is that she took over the dead corpse of an elf you kill while questing with her. Just before you go and visit N'zoth, and he places his eyeball hat on your head.
19:05 I have to add. When you play the priest campaign in Legion, we turn a void creature/fallen naaru back to Light. So we have also the opposite case.
I'M still a fan of the Azeroth = Azatoth Theory. There is so much theory about him as well. here are some of them which fit quite well: in the Lovecraft Lore, Azatoth is the God of the Gods, the greatest of them all. He is named the demon sultan and inside him, bug-like creatures find home ( Nerubians?) in other theories there is strange goo oozing out of it and much hair. He is the center of the universe (Azeroth is the center of OUR WoW universe) and the He is ever sleeping and it's said, when he awakens, it will be the end of all reality. In his sleep, he creates a dreamrealm. There are many theories if he dreams our reality or another. Other gods are dancing around him, singing an everlasting lullaby (forces? Old gods? Titans?) Azatoth does NOT have an own mind. So he is easy to influence by others. so everyone tries to do so. He has a harbinger with one thousand masks (It's Nyalathotep there but whe don't know if Xal'atath is the real name or just the name of the Blade... or just a Mask...maybe?) Also, he isdescribed as "nuclear chaos". A beeing of ultimate horror and madness. Many interpret it that way: Nuclear - center/middle ; Chaos [out of greek mythology] - the primordial void before creation or the primal matter out of which everything else is made. So "mother of the old gods" or "mother of all life" could also be a possibility. quote [the dreams of the witch house] : "Those who follow the rules of mathematics and try to unterstand the laws of creation and the universe, could grasp a fracture of how atrocious Azatoth is" So, i kinda see our Titans there. They experiment with creation and order. Mathematics and order are close.
I think Xal was either originally the strongest old God, or the special one,, and the others ganged up on her to have more to themselves, or she was something more powerful than an old God. Either way it makes sense to me that if the others had a chance they would do something to get rid of the strongest as they each want more for themselves.
I thought SL provided pretty conclusive evidence that Azeroth is actually a slumbering First One. Representing such primordial high-order cosmological power is why each subordinate force seeks to stake its claim on her. Also, it's why their tech awakened with her blood. To follow the fantasy tropes, such magical technology is keyed to only respond to blood of a like-entity. Thats why Zovaal, despite his power, was unable to do anything with it. First One tech responds to First One blood only, i.e. the Heart of Azeroth. Her essence is First One essence.
It's a Theroy I had a while ago. I mean, Azeroth had to be something beyond a simple Titan or some void creature. Everything in the Cosmos wants it dead or controlled. Hense Titans and Void wants it in their control. So I believed that Azeroth had to be the Last First One in Existence. And its power would be a boon for any cosmological force to control.
@vladimirdosen6677 it has to be yes and if Azeroth is the Mother of everything then that's more of almost unspoken truth that Azeroth is a First One whom were the Father's and Mothers of All Beings in creation.
At this point, azeroth is either a godlike being responsible for all creation, even the first ones, or its simply just a first one. I think the obvious thing is that azeroth is a first one.
While leveling through dragonflight as a Shadow Priest, there was a few instances where she spoke, I'm not sure if the whispers was new or not, since I didn't play as a priest through legion. But at one instance while in Azure Span. She said something about events that has ocurred in Azeroth, by the end of her quote, she talks about something even worse than the sundering, that we (the inhabitants of Azeroth, knows nothing about). That's atleast how I interpreted it. Can't for the life of me recall the entire quote though. 🙃
I think Xal'atath and Nzoth are in league with each other. By showing Nzoth the future by going back in time, Blizzard set up a re-write of Old God lore. I think of it this way, Nzoth sees the future up to his "Death", and hashes out a plan to invade right under our noses. He notices Xal'atath is the one unknown to history, so he creates a pact with the other Old Gods to concentrate Xal'atath's energy into a more suitable, more mobile vessel. I don't think the blade was meant to imprison Old Gods, I think it was made to give them a tangible form. Something that would be more than a giant pimple on Azeroth waiting to be popped by a Titan. I imagine being a huge wart makes it hard to move around, so the blade was made to give an Old God a human-like form, and the Old Gods knew they would have no way to release Xal'atath from the blade once her transformation was complete, so they created a plan to force us to do so, to seal a threat we were meant to perceive as the more urgent one. Think of how deadly an Old God could be if they were in a more concentrated state. They would be able to focus their power more, dodge incoming damage, and act as the perfect agent in the shadows. In chess, more often than not the piece you pay attention to the least ends up costing you the game. Xal'atath would be the perfect agent, unknown to time as one of them, considered so weak that they weren't even considered a threat, and then focused into their best weapon, one that can move, teleport, and unleash their old god powers anywhere, not just to the vicinity around them. I think your definitely on to something when you say when an Old God expansion comes out, Xal'atath will be a major player in that role.
What if Xal'atath was the Spirit element that was devoured? And the way she survived was having a part of her in the blade like a horcrux - just a thought.
If i remember correct the 5th old God was consumed by the other 4 , so if she is the 5th , that explains why she was weak enough to be put in the blade , sounds like she is the 5th and that maybe the old gods are naru who were fully corrupted by void
So we have no evidence of what happened to the 5th Old God or even that a 5th existed, we have had multiple speculations of a 5th and now we have Nelf's note on a possible 5th but no evidence yet sadly.
On the primus that Xa'lathas is an Old God. What if she was actually the strongest and the others seperated her spirit from her body and that is what was in the blade. Her body is still underground waiting for something to accidently free her to reunite. Or she is just referring to void creatures and has nothing to do with Old Gods.
Xal'atath might actually be 'Magnum Innominandum' or 'The Nameless Mist' in terms of Lovecraftian Mythos. This Nameless Mist can takeover or assume the appearance of any being or entity she has killed or come in contact with so it would fit with some of it however, I think it more likely to be the next one for obvious reasons. However, alternative possibility could be 'Xexanoth' the Outer God known for being the bane of the time god but I think that to be less likely but with the whole Bronze Dragonflight and Void corruption to Infinite Void Dragonflight. It does have some possible links is she the one that set up all the Time corruption and changes in motion?
Our servants / my brothers / all the us’s I’m with you buddy she could be one. Has a real sibling Alpharius and Omegon feel with Nzoth. She singles him out a lot. Also the body could be her cell the blade could’ve been the prison. Put her in the body to limit her powers, put her in the blade to keep track of her and make her useful.
I always wondered what if Xal'atath was actually part of N'zoth. They just got split and the whole prisoment thing of Xal'atath was part of the grand plan of N'zoth.
@Accolonn Yogg-Saron used the visage of the female vykrul, Sara, to interact with and manipulate NPC and players back in Ulduar. So we do have a previous, in-game refence to an Old God using a visage that wasn't some sort of Lovecraftian monster.
What if N'zoth and xal'latath were siblings. Twins if you will, which is why the four or five old gods thing has been so hit and miss. Possibly Siamese twins and because she was smaller than N'zoth was pulled off him and defeated early on. Him only saving her by being put into the blade and released by him later on. She speaks rather fondly of N'zoth but not so much towards the others. They could be close family back in void land or were just created together as a close pair. Just something to think about. As big as the old gods where and as far reaching as their tendrils can go. It would not be surprising for two old gods the have been intertwined together.
maybe when she said that i will get my revenge for what they did to me thing was refering that they tried to create a visage to her thus diminishing her power and then sealed in the blade
@Accolonn have we ever speculated the wisper "the hour of her third death will usher our comings" will refers to Xa'lathas? her first death would be what they done to her. the second would be the death of the blade when we freed her. and the third has to come. during our times with her, she absorbed many soul (void soul) that could be release in the future. n'zoth knew that and let Xa go probably with a fraction of is power to be unleashe later on.
In that regard, her release from the blade would be more of a "rebirth", after all, SHE is not dying,. If the prophecy speaks of Xal'atath, "her" would be correct. But if you consider her release a "death of the blade", it would be "the hour of ITs death". So I don't think that fits here.
I could be down with removing her from the blade as a form of death. As to release her from the blade a death had to occur. The elf had to die for her to take that form. I also do not think the old gods relate death the way we see it as players, as they know they are reborn, every transference of body could be considered a death.we know from SL that unaligned souls go to SL, aligned souls go to their domains for rebirth. Void would bring the old gods back for reformation or energy use with larger void souls being used as chess pieces of their element
I believe that after the events of zerith mortis and us learning about the 7th fractal power that it was possibly Azeroth and the 7th fractal power may in fact be the first one that brings the other cosmic forces together, an with that we know that there is at least 2 first ones due to it being plural what if the 2nd First one is the other part of the universe and what i mean by that is what if the second first one had the same make up as what we are in now only with different cosmic forces like maybe one of the cosmic forces in that realm maybe the Twisting nether ( its outside of what we know as the universe) as for the old gods I dont think they are linked as heavily to the void as we think and are closer to the element of decay instead sure they look like creatures of the void (but we really havent seen anything of decay so how would we know?) but honestly they have never given me that true feeling of Void ( I think something more akin to hermaous morus in elder scrolls ) i could be wrong but just compare what we have seen alleria or any of the true Void related things do against the Old Gods they are not the same
Ok question though on Xal'atath - wouldnt she have been or a portion of her absorbed into the sargeras sword when the heroes used the artifact weapons on the sword?
This is an older video but a few things I wanted to point out: first, Yogg-Saron is conceivably calling himself the “God of Death” not because he is associated with the cosmic force of “DEATH” but rather because he is the Old God (or at least the first to) gift the Blessing/Curse of Flesh to mortals. Whether Yogg-Saron re-gifted mortals with flesh after having been transmuted to stone by the Titans or the Blessing of Flesh was the birth of the mortals races, once no longer stone the mortal races are now living and will die in time. They will all pass into death whether by age or some other means, and by “giving” this Blessing/Curse to them, Yogg-Saron claims the title of the “God of Death”. You probably already have heard/know of this, but I felt it was pertinent to note for anyone watching in the future and for speculation fun!
Accolon, I think that although we have a patch roadmap, content should still come out faster because we only get important lore every Big patch that comes out every 6 months, so only twice a year which seems not much. What do you think?
I'd like to think xal atath is an equivalent to the gang liason that comes over to fix and correct foreign business. Xal atath was sent by the void lords towards the end of the old lord reign because they weren't following their original mission they were sent here to do. In result they turned on her too knowing that.
Have u guys noticed that the blade Xalatath has not purple void colors but blue runes that look more like jailor colors ,like the anduin sword , and also spikes that look from the maw, wierd
I did notice this. And it wouldn’t be the first time forced have fought or joined together in war. We know from SL that elune is a dual cosmic entity who aligns with both life and shadow, the blade could have been from sl to entrap old gods, or it could have been made for the void as a gift. That lore hasn’t been released yet for the purpose of the blade
Just fyi she refers to shadow differently. She talks about shadow and light fighting here and then notes something about the void specifically. Making note they are not the same
Idk if it also apply to before blade but as you Just kill the fanatical blood elf cult leader she says it was millenia when i Last took a "*mortal" form (*not sure about exact word there)
Yes! Thank you :) That's my theory as well: Azeroth creates the Old Gods. As to why? Your guess is as good as mine, but a good guess might be: they're akin to an immune system, fighting away the Titan's constructs and installations, which are keeping her imprisoned
I think of it like this...the Old Gods are just Azeroth's Spore Mounds, like Draenor, but instead of being a hivemind due to the abundant Spirit, they became chaotic and single minded through Decay, which made them susceptible to Void influence. I also don't think Azeroth consumed all the Spirit on the planet, but rather the Titans extracted it from her in order to infuse Eonar with Spirit/Life so they could try to control it.
@@laertesindeedthe hour of twilight is meant to wake Azeroth. They aren’t trying to destroy Azeroth they are trying to eradicate the life that is living on Azeroth like a virus or parasite. Life and light inhabit planets and leach the life force. Void sends old gods to cleanse those planets
@@laertesindeed first why you are you so mad? Second just a thought process I was working through. Honestly if I wanted toxic bullshit I’d just go back to raiding but thanks for the interaction
The whisper of : "Another seed of corruption planted in death an unquiet spirit will wander in anger and grow in pain" Could this be Anduin? and/or how we get Void Anduin?
10:25 she also says "we may face some my brethren in this conflict, their power will be mine for what was done to me" and then she/with help of wrathion stabbed nzoth right? so she got his power? and nzoth was one of his brother? so she is a old god? maybe she lost someday, and got imprisoned in the blade?
Odin may very be a Sleeper agent for the Old God's. As Loken was the First to be Known but not likely to be the last Keeper to Betray the Titans to be Serve the Old God's.
1:28 '' Beacuse, we know that Z'noth, Z'honth, ahmhm, a'N'oz.. N'zoth was all out into the ocean! '' :D EPIC! :D Btw. love your clips, keep nice work, brother Of Azeroth!
This would align with the shadowlands lore, each realm has its masters. The voids plane has masters and the old gods are the servants of them. The lore points to the masters never visiting the mortal plane and using their servants instead who while on the mortal plane act as avatars or super powered beings of influence
What if the Titans have possibilty separated her like what anoxia did to verryian is that a possibility, then it might more sense to me that it wasn't anduin zoval was beaming for the key he had in his hand
What if the other old gods murdered xal'atath so that her flesh could be used in the curse of flesh? like a fungal spores forcibly made out of an old god.
The theory comes closer, that Azeroth is one of the "First Ones". That would explain many things. No one knows where they went or if they died. The Titans allways tried to keep that a secret, but other way around, the old gods never told us of the First Ones. So the question is, if the old gods dont know of the First Ones and the Titans dont want us to know about them, is Azeroth a First One, in form of a sleeping Planet Soul? Like the rest of them went on, but Azeroth stayed back and watches, not interfering, just observing what is to come.
I like this idea but here’s another when we look at the cosmo chart Azeroth is in the center, but we know the mortal realm has many prime planets. Maybe the mortal realm is a plane just like all the other planes. But that plane is the chess board. All other planes use that realm as a battleground. The current battle ground is Azeroth. Azeroth herself aligns with the winner or groups of winners, then they move to the next planet. This is why we see other planets dominated by different planes in different ways. Old gods, dragons, titans, life entities, fire entities are all kings, pawns, rooks on the board that can come in and out of play from their plane
What if Xal'atath was the only god that reached Azeroth. When she arrived, she gave birth to 5 old gods. They consumed her and imprisoned her soul in the blade.
I think shes talking about nalth when "Isnt one of our servants but he heard our whispers" he was on to his own plans with his forbidden knowledge until he was pushed against something he couldnt beat without giving himself up.
So naaru is of void and prime naaru was probably created by elune... Elune is whether a void lord or a fusion being of both light and void hence how her power both hurt and healed tyrande.
I think your on to something. Elune is of 2 planes. Shadowlands and life. But how I’m not sure how. We know from SL her sister considered her a traitor for a long time for it. We also know from their interactions that each domain can pull the faithful to their domains in the cosmo forces. This also explains why old gods do not worry about death. The void pulls them back for reuse Or rebirth
@@Mogel1978 exactly. i think she's Balance (i mean balance druids literally use ELUNES powers). if this balance / life + death being created the prime naruu then it's understandable why they called light and void trifling powers in SL. because they were ultimately created by this being. and maybe naaru is not of light or void. but both. but then something happened and stopped them from staying in a balanced state and forced them to be whether light or void and it's why they have a cycle thus this sepration caused the great explosion which created light and void. idk that's just a theory
imo Xal'atah was follower of Forgotten 5th Old God that was probably betrayed by other 4. Xal'atah does sound like name fitting for Old God but we also have Xal'atoh which people kinda forgot about. Both Xal'atah and Xal'atoh are corrupted weapons with sentient entity bound within. Xal'atah now possess deceased elven body so maybe Xal'atoh is just male. So maybe they were both followers, priests or smth like that and then they were sealed in weapons.
It has always sounded to me more like Xal'atath was the mother of the old gods, not a sibling or a little sister. She speaks about them like she is proud of them and what they have done. Which to me would be something a parent would do. Another thought would be maybe she is not an old god, but the unknown fifth old god is actually the father of the other four.
Accolon maybe you can answer this question. Old gods digging down to corrupt. Titans put a trash can on top of them and call it good. So didnt really stop them. So azeroth is already corrupted right?
Your overthinking it/misunderstanding, you even quoted it wrong. She specifically says: "He was the strongest of them, yet the easiest to corrupt", she's implying that it's ironic that he was considered the strongest aspect, yet was so easy to corrupt.
TLDR; 1. Xala'tath was done wrong and imprisoned some time ago. She longs to reclaim power from other void creatures. 2. She only refers to "the masters" when speaking about the void lords 3. She only refers to "us/our" when speaking about the old gods 4. She has vast knowledge beyond the history the titans have provided to mortals As for why she has a body, that was explained in the BFA quest, She needed to transfer her essence out of the blade and we found a random elf corpse in Drustvar for her to inhabit, which made it a void elf. Isn't much to it beyond that, I don't think.
Xal'atath is the name of the blade, not the spirit that inhabits it. The element of spirit was consumed in the far past. What if the spirit within the blade was the Elemental Lord of Spirit. The blade was constructed from the corpse of an Old God, to be imprisoned within the OG you had been linked to could be seen as a significant blow to the others.
What if all of the titans "successful" creations are really just azerothian elementals that they subdued with order magic? Even the names hint at this, 'Titanforged' .. not Titan-created. What if the Earthen were really just reforged elementals.
The truth about Azeroth might have always been right in front of us. Azeroth is the Preginitor of War. As such, making the World of Warcraft a reality. Though, I moreso, agree with her being the Mother of All.
firstly yogg used a Visage to toy with the watchers. Mainly tho the blade could be as it was depicted in flavor as the claw of Y'sarage used to absorb the nextvstrongest or ratherthe strongest old gold xal'ath. what if azeroth created the old gods and flung them into the cosmos to seed the universe with life ie she is elune the true life God while Einar is but a construct and the dragons bind her in sleep and by her own life.....?
Why does there ONLY need to be 4 or 5 old gods. What if there are more but these are the few (underlings) that have taken interest in this reality. And in the Void there are not only more, but much greater beings: Masters (GOD-S). As to never having seen the old gods using a visage. I do remember a little fish.
@@VelvetSkyye LoL partially manifesting on Azeroth at one point in time does not exclude a possibility of the existence of more old gods. You can't even pose that in earnest as a reasonable position to hold considering the whispers of Xal'atath. Something has to be the master of the beings we call Old Gods. She says there are. Eliminate possibilities through reason of facts. This isn't so simple by design. As for fish form. It is accounted as N'Zoth appearing to Azshara as a fish. Not that his servant appeared to her. But I am not discounting or claiming to have some special knowledge that would eliminate either possibility.
Maybe not power in the form of brute force but a more subtle kind? Why do so many villians lust for "power"? What do they want to do with that power? It is like a drug for them. Someone that doesn't try to maximize "power" but instead influence the powerful can rule in the shadows, unknown. When the revolution comes, they attatch themselves to the new masters and just continue their dubtle rule.
maybe the old gods come from azuroth but they do not follow what they were created to do. (or doing what they are supposed to, just not in the way azeroth intended). They could have been guardians of the life she was creating, or more like shepherds, however she saw something coming to destroy her creations. she empowered them, but by doing so they were able to squeeze somewhat loose from her control. They were able to repeal the threat, but weakened them. after that you got the titans coming in when they are fight to gain control over the world. Now they are rested and are trying to lure beings to them to be their herald. to make their power that which controls azeroth. doing so would technically follow their order of protecting the life she created, just that they want to warp it to suit their needs more. If this sounds too disjoined, because i just thought of it while typing it out.
If titans cant creat life, how is The Queen of the Eternal faction (cant remember her name) in the shadowland, has her realm full of animals? Same thing with the vampire people, they are not eternals and seems to be made of flesh.
Winter Queen and the other rulers of the afterlife realms aren't titans and weren't created by titans, but by the first ones. First Ones weren't titans either.
@@margisama yea but since they are the pantheon of death and the other one the pantheon of order, it will mean they are the same "species". Why will the pantheon of death creat living things but the order ones not? Maybe im off here
"It is funny that the weakest of us will consume this world" what if N'zoth is the second to last weakest and Xal'latah is referring to herself, she is the weakest which is why she was imprisoned. And we idiotically set her free thinking she was not a old god lol.
Xalathath was the strongest old god, the others ganged up on her. Nzoth is the weakest. She is female and as we have seen, blizzard have brought some buffs to their female characters as of late. It would be in line of that trend.
Azeroth is the only "painter" among the titans, she used the shadow/void as "paint" for creation, it was her fuel until an "accident" caused by other titans set free all shadow contained within Azeroth at once, an the five old gods formed from a Nightmare we're all parttake in, a dormant scream in the night.
Dreams exist before people and so do nightmares. This doesn’t exclude an individual from having their own. Azeroth having her own nightmare or old gods doesn’t mean that other titans didn’t have their own old gods their own nightmares, or their own dreams.
I would rather say that Azeroth is a mother and Void Lords are fathers of the Old Gods. As we know, they were sent by them, so I think they were different when they landed on Azeroth. It is her influence which changed then from something to the Old Gods we know now. Maybe Azeroth is some kind of older child of the First Ones and, as we now know, Titans want to be seen as Gods and they were trying to eradicate the knowledge about the First Ones. That could be a reason why they imprisoned Azeroth - because she's somehow more powerful "child" of the First Ones, or the First One (as someone wrote in other comment). Then Old Gods, sent on Azeroth but infused with her power became their "children" and they are some kind of the guards of her. That could by why they are fighting against the Titans.
She's not saying the old gods corrupted multiple aspects, she specifically says: "He was the strongest of them, yet the easiest to corrupt", she's implying that it's ironic that he was considered the strongest aspect, yet was so easy to corrupt.
@@Waevform Shit you might actually be right, I have to relisten to it. I feel like she's just pointing out it's ironic, especially because she says the strongest of "them". The sentence reads as: he was widely considered the strongest aspect, yet he was so easy to corrupt. Not: He was the strongest aspect, the easiest of (number of aspects corrupted) to corrupt
@@ryanacheson8338 For sure, that's a good point. But, the way the sentence is structured, either all the aspects are corrupted, or she's calling out the irony. She doesn't say he was one of the easiest, or the easiest of (number). They references all, not 1 or 2.
What if Azeroth is basically what ever Life's equivalent of a Titan is? If Naru were void beings that were corrupted by Light, it's possible the Old Gods are the same void entity as what ever the naru originally were that were corrupted by Life (When they attached to Azeroth). It really doesn't make sense they would be able to give the "gift of flesh" (aka life) if they are pure void entities. Azeroth may have been growing life (the races that existed before the Titans and the black empire). The Void beings may have been drawn to Azeroth and became the first ones to start corrupting and altering life. In the process they may have been corrupted by Life in the attempt, and bound to Azeroth in the process. Then when the Titans came to begin ordering what was already here, it added an additional element to the conflict. Void may not have been effective against order, hence why the Old Gods used Life to corrupt the titan's constructs.
@@Frankthegb Eonar is a Titan if I'm not mistaken. I meant what if Azeroth is a Life Entity on par with how Titans are the top tier of Order. Unless I missed something we haven't seen what the top level Life entities are.
The naruu and dranei only came to azeroth through the burning legion and the dark portal. I would be surprised if they had anything to do with azeroth. Also I think you're taking to much of an azeroth centric view of things, as if it is and always has been the most important and only thing in the universe.

And that’s why every cosmological force wants to claim her.
If they had the power of a first one, they’d be unstoppable.
Azeroth is the mother.
I think I remember that quote was in Legion and would play randomly. But I'd be willing to bet she's referring to the Black Empire.
Xal'atath was the original agent of the Void, tasked with creating the Old Gods.
The Naaru does have the whole tentacle thing going for em, and they dont exactly look "light" ish in appereance
I think you may be mixing up the Naaru and the Draeni/Eradar. The Naaru are the crystal creatures, glowing snowflakes. No tentacles in sight
@@CalebMcCartyA.A.P there are som small tentacly things going down the sides of their head tho
maybe when she said that i will get my revenge for what they did to me thing was refering that they tried to create a visage to her thus diminishing her power and then sealed in the blade
This is actually nuts to hear knowing xalatath is coming lol
Well ,i am glad to see there actually WAS something beneath haha and we get to see it in the next xpac
N’zoth, C’Thun, Y’Shaarj, Yogg’Saron, and Xal’atath. They all have dashes is that a clue?
Not rly, many voidish words have that
It’s just to make them sound more lovecraftian.
And a lot of WoW characters have dashed in their name.
Accolon, I think that although we have a patch roadmap, content should still come out faster because we only get important lore every Big patch that comes out every 6 months, so only twice a year which seems not much. What do you think?
the importance about all Void-Lore is how the DKs react to whisperes, DKs will be the saviors of all races.
The Elven body you speak about? We killed that Elf during the BFA Questline and she took it over during (Probably knowing she would be set free soon.)
Corrupted corpse of a dragon just refers to the first boss of the Emerald Nightmare raid right?
@@Mogel1978 also the theme is the same as jailer made weapons , trapping souls inside
LOVED this video - plus it was nice and long
Whispers of the Old Gods to themselves as we travel through time (me with the gift of N'Zoth) to prepare for all eventuallities.

Your guess is as good as mine honestly. I wish I had an answer.
32:23 Missed a big one here. She has Masters
The Old Gods were always my favorite part of WoW lore. If only we got an entire expansion in Ny'alotha/the Void rather than Shadowlands
1:28 '' Beacuse, we know that Z'noth, Z'honth, ahmhm, a'N'oz.. N'zoth was all out into the ocean! '' :D EPIC! :D Btw. love your clips, keep nice work, brother Of Azeroth!
i think an important distinction is that old gods refer to void as their masters, but the creations of the old gods refer to old gods as their masters
Never played WoW, only follow what's going with lore. Was there explanation of faceless from Frozen Throne? Mostly forgotten one?
Xal'atath is like Xal'atoh. Xalatath is a fragment of Y'sharrj confirmed!!
Wait, where was it stated that sauce has corrupted neltharion?
I think shes talking about nalth when "Isnt one of our servants but he heard our whispers" he was on to his own plans with his forbidden knowledge until he was pushed against something he couldnt beat without giving himself up.
I mean, it makes more sense that void aka "nothing" came first
The sword!
I thought the Naruu and void naruu was just a cycle.. Similar to the seasons on our planet?
Not according to the lore, or at least current lore. Apparently Naaru very rarely turn and once they do, it is near impossible to save them.
Watch this again after playing 10.2
When she says the Manastorms, does she mean Millhouse Manastorm's family?
I imagine that's exactly what she means.
@@TheAccolonn thanks friend! I love the toy that let's me turn into him, my boyfriend laughs everytime he hears "I'm gonna light you up sweet cheeks"
Accolon maybe you can answer this question.
Old gods digging down to corrupt. Titans put a trash can on top of them and call it good. So didnt really stop them. So azeroth is already corrupted right?
"Neltharion was the easiest one for us to corrupt" Wouldn't that mean they corrupted more than one???
Your overthinking it/misunderstanding, you even quoted it wrong. She specifically says: "He was the strongest of them, yet the easiest to corrupt", she's implying that it's ironic that he was considered the strongest aspect, yet was so easy to corrupt.
TLDR;
1. Xala'tath was done wrong and imprisoned some time ago. She longs to reclaim power from other void creatures.
2. She only refers to "the masters" when speaking about the void lords
3. She only refers to "us/our" when speaking about the old gods
4. She has vast knowledge beyond the history the titans have provided to mortals
As for why she has a body, that was explained in the BFA quest, She needed to transfer her essence out of the blade and we found a random elf corpse in Drustvar for her to inhabit, which made it a void elf. Isn't much to it beyond that, I don't think.
Seeing as the old gods see all timelines and all truths could it be that Oydn's Arrogance will be his down fall rather than was his downfall?
Xal'atath is the name of the blade, not the spirit that inhabits it. The element of spirit was consumed in the far past. What if the spirit within the blade was the Elemental Lord of Spirit.
The blade was constructed from the corpse of an Old God, to be imprisoned within the OG you had been linked to could be seen as a significant blow to the others.
This could be it, but the shape of the blade and light from it mimics the shadowlands, maybe an alliance at one point between the sl and void
It's late. My brain is wandering. What might be the possible link/analogy between Xalatath and Remornia? Xalatath refers to 'we'. Hmmmm.
Believe me, if I knew I'd make a video on it. It's been gnawing at me for some time now.
firstly yogg used a Visage to toy with the watchers.
Gaia is the mother of the Titans and they represent the elements…
Maybe the 5th old god??
Why does there ONLY need to be 4 or 5 old gods. What if there are more but these are the few (underlings) that have taken interest in this reality. And in the Void there are not only more, but much greater beings: Masters (GOD-S).
As to never having seen the old gods using a visage. I do remember a little fish.
Because that’s literally what’s on Azeroth this isn’t fucking hard.
The fish was a servant of nzoth, not the form he chose to take.
Imagine if she finds her way to Anduin and twists his mind or open his path to wielding shadow...since he is a priest not a paladin :V
I think he's a paladin now.
What if xalatath is the most powerful of all of them? So they twisted her, stole her power and locked her away
Xal is Yshaarj
Watis Tucum
They killed her body and nozth gave her a elf body in spite
Azeroth will be the mother of the first ones, if not the titans too.
Yogg had Sara
maybe the old gods come from azuroth but they do not follow what they were created to do.

"It is funny that the weakest of us will consume this world" what if N'zoth is the second to last weakest and Xal'latah is referring to herself, she is the weakest which is why she was imprisoned. And we idiotically set her free thinking she was not a old god lol.
Why do you think Xal'atath was weak. We don't know who or how many it took to strip her of her true power and imprison her.
Can it be that she is The Fifth Old GOD?
Xalathath was the strongest old god, the others ganged up on her.
Nzoth is the weakest.
She is female and as we have seen, blizzard have brought some buffs to their female characters as of late.
It would be in line of that trend.
Azeroth is the only "painter" among the titans, she used the shadow/void as "paint" for creation, it was her fuel until an "accident" caused by other titans set free all shadow contained within Azeroth at once, an the five old gods formed from a Nightmare we're all parttake in, a dormant scream in the night.
No? The old gods didn’t come from Azeroth and they absoLUTELY existed both before the nightmare and before the titans arriving.

“Life l’s equivalent of a Titan” is Eonar………………..
