That piece already had some good bones with the elaborate designs. It just needed a little TLC to bring it back to its former glory yet look modern. The after of this piece was breathtaking!
I really like the after but that wood grain lined up real nice before. Too bad you can’t see it a little. Somebody worked hard to make that line up. But hey, you do you and it looks fantastic so….
Big 'o gash right next to the place/when she says she's reusing the original hardware. I think I liked it better with the beauty of the original wood. I mean you did a good job but it was already a diamond... it just needed some polish. It looks soooo old, like Granny's old gray hair.
It was a very obvious fake wood grain tho, not even at least a wood lacquer, and parts of it had come off leaving the actual wood or particle board underneath showing in some spots..

I'm sorry the $30 dollar dresser and all that was purchased including tools and time. It cost alot more than that. You did a good job, but color was an awful pick for a great piece.

I think everything but the legs- it would have been perfect if you painted them the darker grey to match the shading you did.
