- Check out my latest Case XX Knife Search and the Hoard of Case Knives I found at this Case Dealer in Florida. Every Case Knife pattern, every case knife color, even vintage and hard to find knives on display. Even had Great Eastern knives.

Chattanooga had a great case knife display for years.
Thank you for sharing this great store with us. I'm looking forward to the next video of the store.
Brother! Thanks so much for sharing this video. I can’t wait to see the others to come. I definitely will be visiting this store in the summer when I go there on business! Thanks!
Great find, will definitely visit that store on next bike tour. Love St. Pete. next time you should visit Bill Jackson's outdoor store off of US 19..
I tried to call and see if they had knives but no one would pick up
Great video
Thanks, glad you enjoyed
Wow, I could spend all day going poor at Harvey's. Just don't see those kind of stores where I'm at. Thanks for taking us along.👍
Thanks for checking out the video
I didn’t see any trapperlocks, man those seem hard to find
Very neat stuff!
I remember hearing about that bridge collapse.
Yes, it was a big deal
I used to vacation in St Pete every year for five consecutive years and never knew why the old bridge was like that I assumed it was torn out for large ships to access the bay
It was left closed for years after the accident and we used to climb the fences and go out and fish off of it. People started camping, building fires , and all kind of riff raft started hanging out.
Eventually they demolished the old center section and used the rubble to build artificial reefs and turned what was left into the north and south fishing piers
Probably one of the few places you can catch grouper from land
Thanks for checking out the video
@@JohnKlahr We used to go to the beach at Ft DeSoto
Beautiful knives my friend. I could spend a days in a place like that. I would rather go there instead of Disney World. Thank you for sharing. Can’t wait to see what knife you got. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward for your future videos
Thank you for viewing, I’ll be working on one knife video tonight.
You finally went to Harvey's hardware. I posted on one of your earlier videos for you to go there. They have a Case event in the fall you need to go to. He also does a gator knife. A Case knife with a gator scene every year.
Dude that awesome
Thanks for checking it out
Great video, looking forward when you go back to see the other knives at Harvey's Hardware.
Thanks for checking out the video
Wow ,I figure you picked an orange colored one . Nice looking ones to choose from.
Close
I just went to Harvey’s because of this video and he says he wants you to contact him.
Ok thank u you. Very awesome
There’s a similar but smaller store in Cave City Kentucky
Gorgeous selection of case knives. Id love to see what's out back. Would he ship to NY?
That is an AWESOME Case Knives find. Yeah, they are a little on the expensive side but they have them in stock. Case has really pushed many people away by changing steel. The main thing I do not understand is why Case does not make a few runs of the most popular knives (trapper & mini, folding hunter to name few) in CPM powder steel or in 1095 (original). Yes, they will cost more but will sell out fast. Anyway, thanks for sharing. You have a new subscriber. 👍😁
Thanks for checking out the video, I think case likes to limit the supply to keep them in demand, and I just got a carbon steel sod Buster jr that is insanely sharp ( after I gave it a new profile) but I’m not sure if it’s the same as the CV they used to have.
Do you know?
@@JohnKlahr I am not sure of the carbon content of th CV (Chrome Vanadim) line. Will re-read steel list. They seem to have good qualities on edge retention and anti-rust. Looking forward to un-boxing of new ones. 😁
In 1095 steel the carbon is 1.06% compared to Chrome Vanadium which carbon content is 0.50%-0.60% the Vanadium is 0.30%. The CV steel is corrosion resistant as the carbon steel will rust, corrode and patina if not protected (oiled). The higher carbon content gives greater edge retention. The newer corrosion resistant steels are ok for general use but will have to be resharpened more often.
Years ago ('90s) a friend of mine had a newer Case knife that I sharpened for him and it did not hold edge well like my Buck 110. I do not know if it was my sharpening angles or steel but was just blah. Hey, it did not rust though. 😄
This is one of those videos that are hard to watch. Jealousy is a very bad feeling.
Ha, yes
I know now where I want to go to in Florida. Just have to convince the wife we need to go.
Yep, come on down
Beautiful knives, but expensive…! That’s why I don’t own any Case knives. I’d consider that store a “Case Knife Museum” which I’d love to tour. Thanks for your video tour.
I love all old hardware shops, that is the whole reason I do my Ace/Case knife searches and the reason behind my Oneangrykid.com .
Thank you for checking out my video
Small amount compared to the place in Tallahassee,Florida that has the largest collection in the World of CASE XX knives.🇺🇸
It must be something
@@JohnKlahr it takes an entire day if you actually stop and look at them all or maybe longer.Nothing comes close.👍🇺🇸
Dang, John! Lots to.look at there, like a candy store.
Yes it was!
Honey hole. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for checking it out
Puddle of drool watching this.
Thanks for checking out the video
Wow, what a great video
Thank you
I would like to have a reasonable priced Large texas toothpick just to carry depending on what I was doing. They seem to not make many when they finally decide a year to produce them
I don’t have a toothpick , and probably because I also want a large and just have not come across one yet
Thanks for checking out the video
@@JohnKlahr if you get back to that place give them a look. I did find one about 8 years ago for $125 online I bought it but have yet for find another new old stock in box since then that was less that a payment on a new Kenworth dump truck
Very Cool! But how were the prices compared to original retail? Would love to have a place like that in the NW!
The new , current patterns were listed at same prices I see the online retailers listing them at. The older patterns look to be listed at original prices and not the jacked up prices like you see on eBay once stock is depleted.
I was looking at the receipt tonight and it shows a discount , not sure if that’s is for everyone or just becouse I’m so handsome, but with that discount is very fair price
@@JohnKlahr very cool! my buddy was down there and the more knives he bought the more discount they gave him. Great way to do business and he got some great deals! Thanks for sharing!!
Wow that's really cool is that in Florida?? What town?? Very cool
Land o lakes
Does he have a website or do mail order? I love the stuff he has.
I am not sure , I’ll find out more next trip up there
Ok cool thank you. In Florida right
Yes, land o lakes is just North of Tampa
It’s like a Case museum. Looking for a Harley Davidson Case, how were the prices?
Very fair
Case really needs to produce some more modern designs and use better steels.
They have some but I don’t care for them or what they are charging for them
The Flag GEC
Beautiful but way out of my price range.
Benchmade is way overpriced. $500 for that knife?! They're smoking crack.
Somebody is paying that
