You know riding with someone else in front of you while you record these is kinda genius cause you simultaneously get the first-person and third-person perspective all in one video. Its double the enjoyment in half the time!
Same! It really helps curb the go pro effect that most videos have trouble with!
I'm not even a mountain biker, but this has recently been my favorite channel, for some reason these are very relaxing to watch for me. Only improvement I wish for is 60fps video, just for that extra smoothness.
I do agree that 60 frames would be nicer, but it's limited by the technology, GoPro's can't film in 60fps and keep the same quality of footage, as well as other settings being downgraded.
it actually just makes it annoying to load at a decent quality on TH-cam, plus, 60fps ain't the right amount for the dark north shore woods, just makes the video more grainy

I'm also not a mountain biker, though I am from the PNW and love hiking in these areas. I love watching for the scenery, the beautifully engineered trails, and the incredible mountain biking skills!
I love the giggles, guffaws, and laughs!!! It humanizes these insanely amazing and talented bikers.

I have a request! Can a video be made with a camera mounted to the dog following you guys? I want to see what it looks like from that POV. Does he run on the ramps or next to them? Does he take short cuts? I think it would be a great video.

Just watched the first of your videos today, and my goodness this is incredible and insane. I’m not sure what I am more impressed with…your ability as a rider or the technical skill of whoever created that trail down that mountain. I mean, it’s not like it’s short little bit. Someone put in a ton of time to create the ride, put in the wood trail parts and just ensure you had all those challenges. I never knew anything like that existed. So amazing to watch. Thanks for sharing.
This is hands down the coolest sport ever created by human beings. Even watching the videos has made me addicted.

I love watching these, but since I don't bike, I always think about how much fun these would be to hike.

To clarify, I have never, nor will I ever walk a bike trail. 😅
That but also how long it would take, you would just see these guys zooming and your dragging your feet down rock, slopes for an hour
I have accidentally gotten lost and walked a bike trail once. Didn't even know biking downhill was a thing at the time. Ended up falling in the mud because some places were too narrow to walk on.
I've got a pet peeve which is people suddenly stopping on paths or in hallways.
Watching this video makes me wonder if I got it from my days following people on bike trails.
pretty i sure i got this pet peeve from my days in college, when i would get trapped behind professors who would stop to chat on the paths around campus, blocking the way, and since poison ivy grew everywhere, going off the paths was just asking for a rash.
Like MOVE, i got classes to get to, and this is the only damn path that leads from the Mathematics building to the Biology Lab Building, without my needing to take a 35 minute detour!
So I've never mountain biked before but do you have to run with a low tire pressure to get more grip and avoid the tubes from popping?
Typically run heavy duty tires with lower air pressure for this type of riding. Also run a tubeless setup which uses special tires/rims and sealant instead of a tube so you don't get as many flats.

i could cry if i see those guys riding, i live in flatland belgium, had to buy a full suspension ebike to have some speed, now i can drive up the hill and downhill for like 3 min. my life is awesome.

Boundary is the best trail on Fromme. I first rode it solo on a nasty rainy winter day and if i started with 9 lives I had 1 left by the time I got to the bottom. That double down ladder to creek crossing is a dice roll in the wet. Never been on lower ladies cause im always crossing back to lower expresso/digger to exit. Will have to check it out.
It's worth it! The crux move (for me at least) is that 90 degree after the root waterfall (where they both got hung up). Still don't clean it consistently.
1 glove but riding those Knuckle Dusters so it's all gooood. Love those grips myself ! :) sick riding as usual.
