Pre Black, migration 50s, Milwaukee was self segregated via ethnicity. Irish, Jewish, Polish... In that since, blacks are not singled out. However liberals invoke bad laws for blacks, while conservatives did nothing at all. Last add on the many gangs (80s) from Chicago (sorry, true) that combined makes Milwaukee worst. Especially considering great factories that brought blacks there are all but gone. A.O. Smith, Briggs &Stratton, Tower Automotive, Johnson Controls traded for minimum wage temp services makes it all the worse. I left as well
I’m born and raised in Milwaukee and over educated. I couldn’t even get call backs for jobs I was qualified for. I had jobs across the county doubling my salary all this year. I’m leaving this month for double salary and benefits I didn’t know existed.

About 7 years ago, my husband and I (black) moved from Detroit, Mi to Saint Paul, MN. At the time it was due to lack of opportunity and needing a more family-oriented place to raise our children. So far, we have had a great experience and have taken advantage of every opportunity to help us advance. My husband is a business owner and I work in education. However, I finally hit a roadblock when attempting to stepping into leadership. It seems to be an invisible barrier that is blocking people of color from leadership. To piggyback on prior commentators, there is a brick wall when trying to be our own solution! For example, not only do we need our own schools but we need us to be in leadership as well. Everything is fine when we are working and staying in our place but we can't be the boss!
I have heard similar stories so many times!! Some jobs and roles are acceptable for us but we can get any further. We build our own and they can still come destroy it! It's a battle that has to be fought from both ends.

@Darius AC Atlanta is not the "Black Mecca" that it's portrayed as. Gentrification is on steroids here. Amen Brother! Look, we all know that racism in any American city is NOT news. We need to redirect our energy from trying to change a system that is not and never will be for us, to creating our OWN systems. Economic power is the key that unlocks all other doors. We must create our own financial institutions (to finance our businesses), educational institutions (to educate), and business institutions (to provide what our communities need). We've done it before, we can do it again. There are 50 million Black people in this country, and we have over 1 TRILLION dollars in spending power. 1 TRILLION! The problem is WHAT we are spending it on. As an example, Black people account for a little over 13% of the population in the U.S., but we account for 23% of U.S. cellular sales. It is estimated that 96% of Black adults/teenagers own cell phones, higher than any demographic group. Even the poorest of us have cell phones. I'm just using that as an example. I won't even get into food, liquor, clothes, etc. The point is that we need a major shift in our mindset from CONSUMER to PRODUCER/OWNER. I congratulate you brother on your entreprenurial endeavors, and hope that you will encourage other brothers and sisters to follow suit. I too am an online entrepreneur, and am looking for ways that I can help others do the same. We must change our mindset and approach if we are going to succeed as a people - it does not rest on the government or "mainstream" society - it rests on us!

This was about 6:00-7:00 a.m. I had my grandmother traveling with me so she wanted to sit in and eat. The service was great but I did notice there was only 2 minorities working and they both were cleaning. A few cars pulled in the lot and I seen a few elderly Caucasian people heading inside. When they entered and noticed my grandmother and I sitting there, they turned around and sat in their vehicle until we exited. And this wasn’t 1 occurrence. It happened 3 times while we were sitting there. I had a man tell me in Jerseyville, Illinois tell me at a gas station I needed to get my gas and leave town. I got stopped by police in Decatur, Illinois in a upper middle class neighborhood, because they “got reports of gunshots”! They searched my vehicle and person found nothing and when I asked why exactly was I stopped, they said I matched the description of the reported shooter. It was 8:00 at night and I was at the lake night fishing I watched them watch me for at least 30 mins before I left the lake and they pulled me over. Fortunately for me, I have always kept my head in these situations and complied. But it’s 2021, why is it I have to experience this? I’m glad I’ve grown up and out of my “thuggish” mentality. 10 years ago I probably wouldn’t be sitting here able to write you 😂 seriously tho.
I would move , my kids won’t be living like that

You can always be whatever you want to be regardlessof your race. Racial tension is about the loss of your wellbeing. Others resenting you for no reason, wanting to kill you for no reason. Your peace of mind is agitated.

I think areas where there is an above average of uneducated whites it is easier for the white population to leverage white culture and below average talent to be successful while blacks have to be extremely talented or born in position and/or power to be successful.
If you've searched on the internet for "least racist city for blacks" you're not alone, should be an Wikipedia page by now kmt
If you search that it means you believe there are races that are superior and inferior. Congrats, it means you’re racist!
@@sergiosensation6 There are races that THINK they are superior. That line of thought is dangerous. That’s why this information is important. Didn’t you learn anything in the last 4 years, or did your white passing privilege protect you?
@@WWS63 you can’t categorize how some people feel and define a whole race that way, you’re playing identity politics. There’s a difference between thinking and knowing you’re superior. There is no biological different between different skin, it’s just one race, the human race. Racism was invented to make idiots think they’re either superior or inferior:

The worst cities for us are the ones we have destroyed like Atlanta Georgia. Memphis TN east st Louis etc
Don’t forget about Baltimore, Chicago, and Detroit while you’re on your soap box.
Just say any city south of Canada and north of Mexico can be the worst cities for BP.... I'm surprised no city from lowly states of AL, MS, LA and KY didn't make the list since they're usually the last on any list.....
Since Biden won those States, my plan is to set up what I call Boss Cities with Boss Operations in those cities & create an opportunity for about 75,000 people for over $500,000/52 weeks a year B2B Duty Agreements. Then, I would relocate black people from those red states to those Boss Cities & then those red states would be missing out on that flux of bigger money into their economies.
But, because God told me to be inclusive, I have to expand to those States too. But my first would be those Blue States since I don't have time to fight their mayors, governors, & probable racist whites to do God's will.
Let's be real it's just a lot of lazy ass people out here I've got people in my family with the attitude I ain't working this or that type of job I'm in Chicago and I got perfectly healthy young cousins with that attitude they wake up and get high everyday and just hang out on the block it's a lot of people that can improve their situation but they chose not to because they don't want to put in work I went over the road trucking at 22 years old I suggest it to them they look like I ain't trying to do that shit or I can't pass the drug test or my license suspended I got a DUI

The most surprising aspect is they are all in the so called" liberal north" states.
The region the state is in has nothing to do with. It's even worse in the south, east, and west...What do that tell you?
Actually the cities listed are in the Midwest.
Exactly!
"Liberal" my azz! I'm from the Lower-Midwestern state of Missouri, THE HEARTLAND. ST. LOUIS to be exact, a city deeply rooted in racism, corruption, and blockings of multiple blessings which gave us the label of an ASS-BACKWARDS CITY!
St. Louis City and the northern portion of St. Louis County-commonly referred to as "North County", are the more rather "Liberal" areas of the Greater STL, East Saint as well.
.........but other than that, the other surrounding areas are AS RED AS THE DEVIL'S ASSCRACK: FRANKLIN COUNTY, JEFFERSON COUNTY, ST. GENEVIEVE COUNTY, The IL Counties of MONROE, BOND, JERSEY.
.....ST. CHARLES COUNTY gettin' A COUPLE of "BLUE TUMORS" but the county is STILL RED for the most part.
I know this a shit-ton to read, but trust me when I say Missouri is 'not really' "liberal north" lol!
Trust the southern states still have sundown towns this list is coming up short
The black people in Milwaukee just made a difference this past election! Shows how much they turn things around.
Actually, Trump gained 20% + of the black vote across America. Secondly, the incoming House of Representatives freshman class is led by the GOP gains which features minorities and women. Things you won't hear on MSNBC, FOX, CNN, or the rest of the alphabet because it doesn't fit their racist narrative they are trying to put forth. And you know who you have to thank for the diversity turnaround in the GOP? None other than Donald John Trump.
Make all the excuses you want, Trump is still a racist dictator who hasn’t done anything but make him and his rich pals richer. The orange man needs to finally admit defeat and have his punk ass out on January 20.
@@willdrob80 Where am I making excuses? Can you please give me an example of where Donald Trump is a racist? Or a dictator? Do you even have a clue as to what a dictator is? Might I suggest you do some research and find out so you can educate yourself. Then while you are at it, why not do a thorough research into the racist history of the party that you so embrace? In fact, do a little research into the 1994 crime bill that your buddy was a big part of. The truth shall set you truly free.
Trump is clearly enticing his personnel to make these false statements about the election being fraudulent, how is that not a dictatorship?
Submitting all these appeals on a claim he has no evidence on is probably the most work he’s done since he’s been in office. Sad indeed...
I don’t make any excuses for Biden, but you Trump disciples are blindly supporting all the classless, hatred and divisiveness inspired by the orange man simply because he makes conservative America comfortable for you. There’s your racist breakdown... I don’t care about your excuses. In fact, your entire comment is nothing but an excuse.
Maybe you should wake up and realize who you are defending.
BUT THAT'S NOT GOING TO BENEFIT BLACK PEOPLE
I live in Wisconsin and...... I am trying my hardest to leave here. This is the worst state in America. You have to put on two faces in this state otherwise you get blacklisted and won’t be able to find a job. Pray for me.

Fascinating. I’m really surprised Jackson, MS didn’t make the cut.
@Jonathan Post As a Mississippian, you are spot on from personal experience 😳 and seeking to move out!
@@Freespiritedqueen Well.Bye.
I'm from Jackson. The thing about that is Jackson should really be like a baby Atlanta by now. It has poor leadership skills. The people downtown in office are not running the city right and by the state being so conservative and still want to be stuck in '50s makes it no better. Unfortunately us blacks are moving away to Texas or Georgia to live a better life.
Great I’m going to one of these places now thanks for the info 👍🏻
Suddenly, I don't feel so bad about living in California. The cost of living is high but it's high for everyone.

@@baccupacci The high cost of living, the expensive housing, homelessness everywhere, the extended drought, and yearly massive fires. There's no place like home.
Who wants to move to Iowa?
It's one of those state you know exist, but never think about.
Why in the hell St. Louis isnt on that list😔😔😔
This list is meaningless. He's trying to imply racism. St. Louis, Balto, Chicago, etc are awful places for everyone who lives there.. but they're run by blacks by and large, so this dude is leaving them out.
Thanks for the information, please keep up this good work.
I’ve worked in Madison and Racine, Wisconsin. I remember my Great Uncle telling us about how racist the white ppl were up there. I never did see tho when I was there. I actually thought they were nice compared here back in Florida.
Most people will run into as few as 1 person that was mean or racist or whatever to them and (via their hurt feelings) automatically apply that behavior to everybody in that place. I have traveled a lot domestically and internationally and places that people say are so racists or whatever where actually pleasant to me and I had great times. But to each his own.
@Jonathan Post bullshit
I believe it! I am from Milwaukee and I hope I never back. All of these cities are in the Midwest. Outa here!
Thank God I don’t live in any of those cities. And have no desire to ever visit. Thanks for sharing.
Us too! We have to put in the work to make our communities better everywhere.
O
Same
I am extremely shocked how Chicago is not on this list.
I live in Illinois and have relatives in multiple cities that made your list as well! I have traveled everywhere in the U.S except the west coast and the Midwest is by far the worst place for blacks. Illinois has a lot of small farm towns and a lot of “Sun Down” towns. It’s 2021 and I drove thru Pana, Illinois on my way to Alabama. I stopped for breakfast at their local McDonalds. Chicago is a lot better but other than that beware of the small towns!!!
That is really sad. 😢 Proud of you for growing out of your thuggish mentality. ❤👍
Illinois sounds accurate tht same thing happens to me full of white kkk with no life.
Sorry brother..smdh
Glad you keep your kool bro be safe out here
FYI, you do not have to submit to a search of your vehicle without a search warrant.. It's the law...Plus, you never know when some bad cop might plant something in there.
The best thing is to live among those that share your morals and values.
It's this simple: No matter where you live your education level will always play a role in how well you do in life.
That's definitely a great factor from our research.
That is why Blacks Hispanic are always compared to Whites, but never the Asians, who do better than the Whites.
And having a set!
no mention of the critical role fathers play to their sons.... too many growing up without one...
Lol. You are wrong. I m a black computer programmer Ba degree, respectful and never missed a day nor called off from my previous job but let go because another White supervisor said he couldn't work with me, a black supervisor.
Good video and thank you for informations.
I watch your video from Canada 😁👍🏽
What are good Canadian cities for blacks? Black people there are convinced there is no racism there!
Make sure you include Orlando, Florida , Caucasian Hispanics employment rate is higher every yr due to major influx of Latin Americans...the Afro Americans employment rate is extremely low
Damn I left Milwaukee back in the 80s. I knew it was a reason but didn't really know then. WOW! numbers don't lie.
You did not know why?? If it was bad, you would have known why!
Most parts of The USA will have tough spots for Black people in particular even the majority Black cities and states
Right!

I’m surprised Chicago did not make the list.
It definitely should’ve been on the list preferably the southwest suburbs
It certain parts in Chicago you wouldn't live Englewood Roseland Chatham even though some places clean and Dirty What messy up Chicago is Gangs GDs BDs Vice lords Black p.stone Latin Kings crooked Politics and Police
They're talking about the high percentage of African Africans that are poor and lack opportunities. All inner cities fit that description, but Chicago also has a lot of Black residents that are working and making decent money, so that's prolly why it isn't on the list.
Chicago really ain't that bad just segregated Wisconsin mostly not the state for blacks
@KK L W like fr Wisconsin is awful
I'm surprised New Orleans, Flint and Detroit didn't make the list. 😳
Every democratic run city in the country should be on that list.
I pulled up stakes and moved out west from Flint. Absolute craphole.
I am shocked you left Los Angeles, CA out. We’re often told by certain social media personalities to “get out of California.” I guess we just need our own anyways.

That's a great idea! We need to help ourselves. And health is one of the areas where there is huge racial gap
Honestly, we need more black educated professionals. I was told to get my teaching credentials and work at private schools or the Top school districts to get paid more. Like you, I need to use my skills in underfunded areas which are typically black and Hispanic schools.
good idea!
I live in the twin cities and appreciate this list. It’s always touted as a successful state and a good place to raise a family but for whom? The income and education disparity is the worst I have seen and I have lived in Milwaukee. The Midwest May hold some opportunity for a few of us but not for the most of us.
I AGREE with Wisconsin being the worst state for blacks...I know a person from Milwaukee...They say the ssme
So why have they not moved to other more friendly cities?

I dont think you should base your decision solely off of this video but I could be wrong🥴
But they gave the stats of WHY the cities were given did you miss that part??
I DEFINITELY picked up on the Racial Disparity in Milwaukee, on just a DAY TRIP I took there last year. NO PLANS of returning EVER.
Im in Minneapolis from Milwaukee. It didnt feel that way here until after the George Floyd murder. And being here is a FAR cry from being in Milwaukee. Its terrible
Don't forget Oklahoma City OK, hot garbage.
What??? I have several relatives that live there, never heard of any racism.
Oklahoma is by far one of the ones that should have made the top three. especially in Oklahoma county where people act like racism is non-existent but is totally racist. I've seen white people who are on meth on food stamps who will still vote conservative simply because so what does that tell you?
@@yes_blackgirlslisten2rock489 I can already tell by your name that you are purposely turning a blind eye to the racism you've experienced in Oklahoma. The stuff that white people particularly white women get to get away with in Oklahoma is absurd.Just pay attention to the dirty looks that you will get because you're wearing a hoodie with the cotton beanie cap but it's all smiles when a white person walks through a store with a hoodie on and a cotton beanie cap.
@@yes_blackgirlslisten2rock489 also I am not implying that because you listen to "Rock" music that it's bad. What I mean is that most black people have some sort of vision that if they do things that they think only white people do then they usually tend to turn a blind eye to racial things that happen to them and other black people. I mean good grief there are white people that I met in my early twenties that will tell you that there were still towns in Oklahoma that are sun downtowns. As a matter of fact a black Oklahoma City police captain was just on the news talking about how as early as the seventies the late seventies that more Oklahoma was not a place to be walking at night if you were black and how he was sent on a call about a black guy breaking the law and when he showed up the white people who would call the police called the cops back and said that they didn't want an n-word at their home as a police officer.
You forgot Tulsa, Oklahoma as well. It's even more racist than Oklahoma City...and their Black Wall Street massacre.
When I was younger I wanted so much to move to Minnesota. Yeah that stupidity rash quickly cleared up.
Minnesota is full of African Americans doing big things .I was shocked when I went and seen it for myself.
Same here. I thought the Black folks were thriving, because I was drinking the Prince/Minneapolis Sound/Flyte Time propaganda pushed out to the masses during the 1980s/1990s. No thanks; I live in a smaller state with similar, deeply-seated anti-Black racism problems (Iowa) and don't want to deal with the shit on a larger scale.
Born and raised in Chicago metro, and it's pretty bad here.
I am a white person who lived in a town with an 18% unemployment rate during the 1980s what's that like? It sucks it really sucks. the only lady that I knew who had a decent job got killed at her job when a huge redwood tree slipped. RIP Edie!
