Yeah, it’s a hard and unfortunate reality. I was lamenting to one of my white friends who picked up and left Los Angeles for Vermont that white people have the luxury to pick and choose random spots throughout the U.S. without having to worry about whether or not it’s a racist area. I mean, they SHOULD worry... but they don’t.

I disagree about DC, Baltimore, & Hotlanta. (1) DC is very over regulated. The property taxes are too high and it is no longer "Chocolate City". (2) Black folks have been moving out of DC for the last 20 years; as a matter of fact DC has been gentrified so how did it even make your list ? (3) Apparently the Narrator of this video has NOT rolled through the streets of Baltimore lately. Scores of vacant houses. Many former black neighborhoods were demolished. (4) Atlanta is overated; it has not been a go to city for blacks since prior to 1984.

I've been in the DC Area basically my whole life. I also lived in Atlanta for a couple of years before moving back to DC. I think with any place a person moves to, they will attract the energy they put out. Your tribe will come to you. In your work life as well as well as your personal. Does DC have its limitations and shortcomings? Hell yeah. But so does every other city in the nation. But as with any other city on that list, people choose to stay for a reason. Was Atlanta my cup of tea? No. But it is a lot of people's cup of tea and I 100% understand the draw of it. Fake, cliquish, catty people are plentiful no matter what city one moves to. People have to ask themselves what kind of energy they're attracting.

If your “black” learn a trade...a degree 📜 unless it’s a masters or doctorate doesn’t hold as much weight as it use to in the 80’s and 90’s. It’s just sad that at this point no matter where you live you must go through someone that doesn’t look like you in order to receive a job. The black homeless population in California is skyrocketing, as Indians, Asians and other immigrants are gaining employment through pipelines that are by design (Air India now has direct flights from India to the U.S.A.) For Instance if you are black and live in San Diego you either live in South East Urban areas, are in the Military, work bottom tier jobs (many of those are already taken by Hispanics), or pushing a shopping cart 🛒. There is a small population that transitioned out of the military and entered the workforce (the most common pipeline for middle class blacks in SD) there is a very small percentage that are in other industries throughout San Diego. Many melanated people in SD have some form of military history that allowed them access to certain jobs based on their credentials in certain fields. However the demographics that tell the real story are in North County cities like La Jolla, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Coronado, Cardiff, Rancho Santa Fe, and other areas that are considered extremely wealthy. You may not see one melanated person in a wealthy neighborhood in North county San Diego all day that isn’t either a tourist, out of Towner or military...literally. We own no wealth in this country. UCSD is a public research university that has demographics that are mostly Asian, Indian, and European American. Hardly any melanin people. Also many of the students have only been in SD for several months or only a few years and speak broken English depending on the amount of time they’ve been in this country. I have no I’ll will toward any race of people I am just noticing a trend that is happening and that has been happening in California and other parts of the country as well. This country depends on its allegiance and connections with other countries and rolls out the red carpet for them in order to maintain relationships with those countries; while continuing to demonize and foster to other races of people hatred and contempt toward the black population . America was built on slavery so therefore it still needs to have a bottom class of people for mass incarceration, population targeting, vaccinations 💉 and other forms of cattle 🐄 control and that class in America 🇺🇸 is the so called Black Man. Black descendants of slaves to be specific. It is estimated that by 2025 “black people” will be the face of homelessness

Whats sad is people in Africa and the Caribbean are trying to come here and you think we should go there? No matter where blacks move there is always going to be colonizers. They follow people of color everywhere, buy up the land and cause the natives not to be able to afford to live in their own country. Only God can help us no continent or country will change things for us. Look how many colonizers retire and buy homes in melinated countries.

That’s good to hear! Been eyeing Austin for the last 5 years. And thinking of finally just doing it. Btw regarding what Owleyes said in their comment , I hate when I hear other people say “don’t bring the California with you” as if we are just a bunch of socialist and/or politicians who are looking to change other areas. We are all just people looking for another area where we can thrive and take care of our family. Not once did I ever meet a person who moved to CA from another state and wave my finger and say “Don’t bring that Texas with you.” Or “don’t bring that Mississippi with you!” Huh!?? People need to get over that mentality and accept that everyone is just looking for what’s better for them on a personal level. We’re all not just a bunch of walking political figures. And for the record, I grew up an army brat and lived all around the U.S. and the world. And I can tell you, I’ve never brought any state or country’s politics with me - just myself with a global vision to live my life and mind my own.

Marvin Gaye said this ain't living... There is so much more to life than the physical side... and even then we don't even produce anything physical we need as a whole .. so being happy with this system is not wise.. it's a distraction from keeping us from rising and living as creation intended...
