There’s no way Newark is 47% black. Has to be more like 65-70%. Maybe 25% Latino. 5% other. Somewhere in those ranges. We don’t take census much here, maybe that affects the numbers. But ride around for a day, you won’t see many people at all who aren’t black unless they’re passing through
Newark is nowhere near 65% to 70% African American. Yes, African Americans do take the census everywhere. Now, when breaking the situation down by blocks and neighborhoods, then yes, the African American population can be 65% and well into the 90% range in some areas. I use to live in Newark and been to several parts of the city and racial make-up differs depending on where you're at. Even though African Americans make up 3/5 of Newark quadrants, The majority of African Americans live in the South, West and Central areas, that's where you'll find African Americans in the 70 to 90% range. Above everything else, what you gotta consider that with the high poverty rates, high unemployment rate, lack of jobs and high crime rates, a lot of African Americans have left Newark over the past 30 years. You said that you won't see many people at all that aren't African American unless they're passing through. That's definitely not true, the 07105 zip code is home to a large population of Portuguese and Brazilians which is home to the United States largest population of these groups out of any city in the country in this zip code, the African American population is no more than 6% and this is the zip code with the most people of European descent living there. The 07103 zip code is home to a significant Latin American population mostly made up of Puerto Ricans and Dominicans with a small group of Asians mostly made up of Indians. In the 07107 zip code where the population of African Americans and Latin American are almost equal. You have a decent amount of Puerto Ricans and Dominicans in that zip code with a small population of Colombians, Ecuadorians and Mexicans. Then there's the 07104 zip code is home to the largest population of Latin Americans. This area has way more Latinos than African Americans living in this zip code and the majority of residents are Puerto Ricans, Ecuadorians, Dominicans, Brazilian, Colombians, Mexicans and even has a population of Italians, Germans and Irish people in this zip code. Another diverse zip code is the 07102. That area has African Americans as their largest population with a significant Latin American and European American population with a small Asian and Native American population. All other zip codes and areas of Newark is where you're going to find African Americans over that 70% range.
Your assumptions about Newark are incorrect. Newark has diverse neighborhoods. The Ironbound section of Newark for example, is predominantly Brazilian and Portuguese.

I have been an over the road trucker for 11 years. I have been to all 48 contiguous states and vacationed in Hawaii. I am pro black as i can be. I listen to all voices of New Black Media...and from my perspective Jackson, MS is our Wakanda. Most black people suffer cognitive dissonance about areas with a large population of our fellow FBAs. We tend to be swayed by statistics more so than by the obvious. Case in point soon as i say the word Chicago...we all have been trained to think run away bc it is so violent....yes there is violence there...but Chicago is an absolutely beautiful city with entire neighborhoods with nothing but black folks doing well. Most of us don't think of it that way, nor do we think of Jackson as we ought. Jackson is the closest we have to Black Wallstreet. I said we...all other places we don't run things from top to bottom like we do in Jackson. If all of you could see what i have seen, without making any announcements...all of us would move to Jackson...and the surrounding areas. Buy up every inch of land and pool our great resources... POWERNOMICS...and build up Jackson into the Dubai of our particular ethnic group...our tribe. All places in our country look the same...we are at the bottom. We work in warehouses, we work as security guards, we wash cars, mow grass and do hair. Only in DC do you see us en masse obviously thriving financially; Blacks driving Teslas. Everywhere else we pushing a 2004 something we can afFORD like its brand new. I have been to your house. I have seen how all of you live. If you ever saw a truck driver tip toeing threw your neighborhood with an orange trailer looking lost as hell...beloved...it was me. We should all pack it up and pull a reverse great migration. I know you make $28.50 an hour in Pennsylvania...i also know you got race soldiers in every cop car targeting you and your kids. We need to look at the intangibles a place like Jackson has...like an architect looks at a dilapidated building and sees what could be. We move to Jackson...then we takeover state politics...then we can force our reparations on that level...setting precedent for all other states to follow...then eventually the federal government would cave in and cash us out. Look outside your door...if you have a Loves, Pilot, TA, Sheetz, Mr. Fuel...truck stop...I have been there. You live in a microcosm. You are not an anomaly. Our salvation is in getting on code and making moves SILENTLY.

Nah I think a lot of Latinos are here now maybe 35-40%
The Latinos are taking over Newark .
Dude you slow…… get out more.
Ever been to North Newark?
Your assumptions about Newark are incorrect. Newark has diverse neighborhoods. The Ironbound section of Newark for example, is predominantly Brazilian and Portuguese.
I wish we stop calling ourselves African American. We as a people are not a misnomer. We are the indigenous people and we need to act like we are.
You can be indigenous. The rest of us are black Americans.
BIG FACTS!
I wish people stop thinking we are something that we are not.
Love your Chanel, I wish we could get a real number on our percentage of black people.
Black American heritage, not “African American” FBA ✊🏾

I get what ppl mean when they say this but how isnt it a pointless speaking point??
You're African ancestors are rolling in their graves
7:01 I just looked up the grading criteria. Everything that matters for Louisiana (crime, schools, housing..etc) had C’s and Ds, but the trivial stuff (night life, diversity, etc.) has As and Bs. Pathetic.
Durham nc is 52 percent black and has a booming economy and goof schooling along with Duke university and central university plus UNC down the roaf in chapel hill nc but living cost is pretty high
Man BS. Durham is 37% black. Your numbers are wayyy off.
this is crazy asf, only one city isn't on the top tier list of crime and murder rate and it's augusta.. something's wrong with this community
They should’ve done this by metropolitan area, not just city limits. And use a metro population limit of 1 million or 1.5 million.
It's very sad that the main 2 issues that are common to all of these cities is low income and crime... It's sad that the state/government doesn't do right by us as a people, they take our money and misuse it and abuse it, smmfh
Yea right bro is your community to blame and the culture y’all exhibit. The government is not your daddy.
Y’all played when y’all put Montgomery and Mobile on this list 😂 THEY ARE NOT SAFE!
NYC has the largest Black population of any city in the country. It has 2M Black people, a majority in Brooklyn more than any other city.
We talking about Black Americans, Foundational Black Americans. NYC has to many non black American immigrants 💯
There's almost 9 million people in NYC. This list is based off of percentages. But you are correct that NYC has more Black people than any other city, but they aren't the majority like these other cities.
By numbers NYC has the most black people, this was obviously by percentage of total city population.
The view of Portsmouth, Virginia at 3:54 is actually a view of Portsmouth, England!!!
LOL
The black people is celebrating our 50th anniversary to Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida and that's entertainment!🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬
Country Club Hills, IL, 88% Black, regarded as wealthiest majority Black community.
Thank you for that reply about Jackson. I live in Dallas, Texas after leaving the military but I have roots in Jackson after attending elementary through college in Jackson. I am considering moving back home hopefully because I am getting tired of Dallas, Texas.
Im from Jackson as well, went to Bailey, love my city but when the industries left and drugs came it went downhill fast and add the corruption
I agree with everything but Jackson Mississippi
My grandparent's are from Mississippi but left in the 1940s for Chicago. I was born and raised in Northern California but I really want to visit and explore Mississippi 💗
You guys showed the Savannah skyline when talking about Augusta, Ga.
yeah they also showed the gullah geechee people when referring to the culture of macon georgia. Gullah geechee is a south carolina thing. and they even forgot to mention charleston which has many of the strongest african cultures in america even stronger than new orleans as charleston was the largest slave port not just in north america but central and south america.
Harrisburg PA 54% , Wilimington DE 57% Black residents
I am so glad you are truthful, when you mention poverty and crime in some of these cities.
Thank you for showing me the cities to avoid
Great content but the aerial shots you have of Montgomery is incorrect.
What happened to Gary Indiana or Atlanta? What about Columbia South Carolina or even Rocky Mount North Carolina? Yall missed some.
Atlanta is a dump. Why waste time on that?
Lol you must be in a gang. Lmaooooo
Yea, I came to say Rocky Mount… bout 64% black… population around 55k, I thought it was gon be on the list too lol. Rocky Mount I think is the only city in nc with more than 50k ppl with that huge of a percentage of blacks.. you got lil towns with like 90% black, but I’m talking cities with 50k or more people
Gary Indiana doesn’t even have people left 😂😂
Columbia is 38.5% and falling.
Georgia had a lot of cities on this list
And yet the blackest city in all of America was not on the list. South Fulton, GA had a population of over 111,000 people as of the 2020 census and 92% of those people were black. South Fulton split from Atlanta in 2017 and became their own city.
@dammitbobby283Yes, poor. You said it
Georgia is statistically one of the Blackest states in the whole country. The Black belt (Southeastern US, has the largest Black population)
Yes ! My home state Georgia is Lil Africa. I love my state 🏡
Blessed Black 🖤 Beautiful Great Job BE
Now what cities on the list is actually worthy of moving to.
25-15 City’s are absolutely crime ridden places to live….Just keeping it 💯
America is crime-ridden. FBI stats show cities are no worse. I’ve seen a lot more headlines about shootings and stabbings coming out of the burbs in the past couple of years and it’s getting worse.
at time stamp 3:53 where is this place location in Portsmouth Va? I don't recall seeing that place in Portsmouth VA
I did a short search come to find out, That's Portsmouth Guildhall, Portsmouth, UK😏
I think im gonna take some time and visit each one of these cities. Although i know visiting doesnt give a clear picture of whats its like to really live in them, i would like to get a feel for what its like. Ive only been to like 2 places on this entire list
This is by percentage and likely a city population criteria. I think it would also be interesting to see total black population as well by city.
Informative!
When will we come together for real, though?
It's not happening cause most of the " we " are foreign and need to leave. Including you African Americans.
Facts
Thanks for the warning!
😂😂
Nice list and information, but I didn't see Gary, Indiana
Thank you for this information now I know what cities to avoid in the future.
we appreciate this
Uploader: there is no video nor audio starting from 14:05 to the end. please edit that out. otherwise great video thanks
Appreciate you, King. The edit is in motion ✊🏾
kool @@BlackExcellist
Thank you. I will only move to where people look like me and I don’t have to travel to Africa to do it.
Go to Idaho or Montana. You will like it there😅
St Louis definitely should be on this list when I lived there all I saw is us black folks
Didn't they show Baton Rouge in the wrong place. And it seemed to show Mobile for Montgomery
What is a niche score and why does Baton Rouge, New Orleans & Shreveport have a “B”??
#11 - Baltimore, MD
Let’s keep these percentages or higher!
And crime and drugs DOWN.
FYI - your Montgomery Al images are of Mobile Alabama
What about saint Louis, Chicago, and Atlanta there are so many cities they forgot about with huge black populations
That's another video
They were doing top 25 black population in percentage. The 25th city was 48 percentage of that city's population. That mean if the city is not mentioned, that means black population in that city is less than 48 percent.
Where is St Louis?
I got to add Hallandale beach Florida to the list, beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good night life.❤
U are showing savannah for augusta
What about East Cleveland OH, it’s almost 94% black
I’m here in NE MS and I was surprised when we made Top 10, blown Top 5 but to get #1 is it’s own change of narrative for our state and what majority of how MS is as a State now. Majority of our counties black families, farmers, Cowboys, and diversity still. We Definitely Playing some Football too. Putting out NFL Players. Proud Mississippian
You need to fix the list DETROIT is 79% black it was higher than that a couple years ago. Southfield is a suburb of Detroit
It’s really time to build our own self contained communities and violence WILL NOT be permitted. Why fantasize wakanda when it’s totally possible to build our own????!!! Like seriously its time
By "self contained" you mean racially exclusive, right?
No, that's neither possible nor desirable.
#10 Murder Gardens aka Miami Gardens
The Black population of New York City is 1.996 million. (2020) The percentage of Black people in NYC is 24.3%, and Latino is 29.1%. The Bronx is the most ethnically concentrated of the five boroughs, followed by Brooklyn, including East New York, Bed-Stuy, Fort Greene, Bushwick, Canarsie, Harlem in Manhattan, St.George in Staten Island, and Westchester in the Bronx. As of the 2020 census, Black Americans were 17.6 percent of the state's population. Harlem Week in the month of August is a must-attend event. Shout out to the family in Newark, New Jersey, and Jersey City, N.J.
Southfield, MI is a great place to live, work, and play. NO Crime issues while living there.
I'm live in Florida. And Lauderhill is known as Lauder"kill". just watch the local news.
You showed Mobile's skyline for Montgomery
It's Alabama. Avoid the state at all cost.
@@powell4661 nah, I love it here.
@205rlg6 My brothers live in Birmingham, and my uncles and cousins are in Huntsville. Those places seem ok, then I see a town that won't seat a black mayor and a legislature that doesn't respect SCOTUS and say no way.
@powell4661 yeah but that's majority of the south in general.
Which ones should i consider to move to
No Gary, Indiana?
@ 4:30 - Your city geography map is a bit off.

Jackson Streets are horrible! Potholes big enough to fall into.
The map on the intro shows a city I’m Illinois. What city is it?
This list is weird
