Did this same exact little mod about 2 years ago... It looked so odd to me when I first saw the button half covered and can only get part of my finger on it. Great vid!

I’m shooting Hornady 62 spire points. The Frontier stuff. It does decent for me. I’ve even taken deer with it out to 150 shoulder shot.

I thought that design was in place so that the button was protected to keep it from being accidentally pushed while it was slung over your shoulder. Making fast magazines changes probably was not their primary concern when designing the rifle.
Has nothing to do with being fast but functional. The button is still recessed in the stock so I'm not sure how it would bumped but idk. Each an to their own if it's not for you definitely don't do the mod. Just a thought for those that may want easier access to the release. Thanks for watching.

One Question: Doe’s the Ranch Rifle Mazines fits to this Rifle?
This will fit standard AR15 mags so any mags offered in that configuration will work great. Thanks for watching!

So, the Mini-14/AR-15, will Crossfit?
In Norway, We nowadays, needs a permission by the Government, for buying so called «Hi-Cap» Magazines. It’s max. 10 rounds for a rifle, and I suppose, it’s 20 rounds for a Pistol.
If someone wants higher capasity, You need that special Permission.

@@unprofor9394 No the mini14 takes its own proprietary mags. This ranch bolt action rifle will only accept AR15 mags. Hope this helps
