Original 4.6 is in this car. Using a custom tune created from HP Tuners. Added a few more degree of timing and raised shift rpm so it doesn't fall on it's face when it shifts. Increase in shift pressure was crucial to rid of the long sloppy shift.
I just read that this was tuned. I was about to ask how this thing revved so high because I didn't remember them actually revving all the way to 6K lol. Nice work!
Larger CAI and airbox (similar to Mercury Marauder), shift points are about 500rpm higher from more aggressive tune and finally dual exhaust versus single exhaust found in most civilian models (except for Crown Victoria Sport models which had a dual exhaust system as well).
Damn that hella fast for a crown vic, shifts great too, mine kinda hangs out at higher revs before shifting. Mine stops acceleration at 100 though and just won't go faster then that
That's one quick vic man. That 0-140 was insane. I wouldn't mine doing this to my 2011 cvpi.
That's a pretty quick Crown Vic man. I love it. Cudos to you
:35 Damn this is one quick tuned CVPI this must be one helluva healthy P71
What was that yellow warning light on the 140 pull below the tach. The trans shifted kinda funny wonder if that was it

FAST08HEMI I thought you said you used a Diablo tuner.... I may be thinking of someone else....
Joseph Vitola this is custom tuning using hp tuners tuning software.
Joseph Vitola correct
Joseph Vitola shift pressure is not stock, and 5900 rpm.
What gear ratio is in the rear end? Did you change your torque converter also?

What makes the CVPI Sound so much better than the stock grandma version?
Cold air intake

@@mod3rnwarrior34 umm supercharged..
Oh yeah I like the longer shifts to awesome
What octane gas was used for this tune to operate?

Wow... That thing sounds vicious. I'd be afraid to do this tune on my '09 with 115,000 miles on it....
obxjeepguy I wouldn't be concerned, they are durable engines, and a more efficient tune will not hurt it! Plus a few more MPG's...
115,000 miles is a baby for a crown vic
@@trotdelima True. Now it’s up to 190,000
@@obxjeepguyhey man, for you having 114k 9 years ago and has 190 now that’s pretty good still 🤣
What octane is the tune
What is that light on the dash?
overdrive off
That was fast to 140
Original trans?
This runs just like my 06 P71 the rest of the vids are so damn slow
Is this the intention of the real Ford Crown Victoria, or does it have to be modified?
Our 06 crowns are the best idk why
