This Arab scale is based on 4 tones called the lower jins or tetrachord, here C, D, E and F, the 3d (E) is a quartertone lowered. Rast is often related to feelings as directness and power . The rhythm pattern I play is based on the Moroccan/ Algerian Chaaby groove

hi Nir..no you can't ..on this guitar it's fixed...but check the site of Tolgahan..he makes guitars with movable frets www.microtonalguitar.org
