This Arab scale is based on 4 tones called the lower jins or tetrachord, here C, D, E and F, the 3d (E) is a quartertone lowered. Rast is often related to feelings as directness and power . The rhythm pattern I play is based on the Moroccan/ Algerian Chaaby groove
