To Clarify Confusion, This story adds to his current origin in the current timeline. Its a Flashback story, it is not his return from Endgame, thats coming in two weeks.

I just read this after Eaglemoss released the first couple of issues in their compilation series (in the UK anyway). I'm brand new to comic books and I'm absolutely loving it so far.

9:13 Is it just me or there is a very faint sound in the background ? Like a really subtle alarm clock. Maybe that is what he uses to keep these videos at around 10 minutes. It probably fires at the 9 minute mark to allow him a one minute grace period to wrap things up.

@INFINITY Designs If you´re talking about the new Batman movie, they´re saying the film will take A LOT of inspiration from TWO particular comicbooks: the Long Halloween (a story where Batman has to hunt down a mysterious killer in Gotham), but MOSTLY Batman: Earth One (a realistic take on Batman´s origins, written by Geoff Jones, that came out in 2012). I get why you would look at Zero Year (because of the pics of Battinson on his bike), but new rumors say the movie will take A LOT of inspiration from the Earth One comic (with the young/rookie Batman story, and his complex relationship with Alfred, and the Mayor Cobblepot sub-plot, etc.)

this is new 52. Zero Year is after Death in the Family story arc. Court of Owls 1st, Death in the Family 2nd, Zero Year 3rd, Endgame 4th, Superheavy 5th which is about to end.

yeah i read endgame the last thing i remember about that is that bruce died and i just need a refresher is he still dead or whats going on then because i haven't been following his runs in quite some time so it would be very well appreciated if i knew if bruce was back as batman so i can resume his story lines i liked and everything because i have been reading mainly Harley stories so yeah i would like to hear if Bruce is truly batman again or is it still gordon prancing around like a big bunny

Does the fact that there were floor plans for the bar cave imply that Thomas, Martha or both of the Wayne parents planning to become Batman? Alternate reality Bat Family idea.
DC Else World series, like Marvel's" What If." Stories that take place in alternate realities. " Batman " the Bat, is the Wayne's family Totem, or more like a " Family Curse." Every three to five generations someone in that family becomes " The Bat."

@Swpneel Hoque If you want my personal recomendation, the two best versions of Batman origins are the comicbooks Batman: Year One (Frank Miller, 1988), and Batman: Earth One (Geoff Jones, 2012).
