I love King Shark in this game, he's done very well here & he should have this personality in the shows. I've never seen him in other shows before but from what you mentioned it doesn't look good.
I forget which of the animated movies it was but in one of them he does the "King Shark is a Shark!" thing throughout the entire movie until the end when he delivers a monologue and... I think it might have been Nightwing? is like "wait, you can fucking talk?"

The Flash instantly killing Lex by ripping out his heart before anyone could blink and then running around in circles to fight the suicide squad is the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen.
Even before the fight, he literally says he could burn all their flesh off before they realise it yet still intentionally holds himself back. Even when he's about to die, he still doesn't go all out. Just cause you call out a plot hole doesn't mean it's any less of a plot hole Rock Steady.
At least we get to see the cutscenes for free instead of paying to play a live service game. King Shark is still my favorite character in this game, but Captain Boomerang is a close second. In fact, they both kinda bond each other throughout the whole story.
I love that it took him nearly the whole game to bond, rather than a quick bond like other games would've done. You gotta nearly die a few times with your mates before they are your mates.
The cutscenes (especially the lines from Shark and Boomerang) are probably the only positive thing I can say about this game, they're a blast to watch, other than that the game is incredibly mediocre.

If they want to make a sequel of this game, they need to make Aquaman as the protagonist to get revenge to Suicide Squad and drown them with water power and that would be a perfect opportunity for Aquaman vs King Shark boss battle.
I think this game MIGHT have been better if you could have chosen if each of the heros survived or died. With a different outcome at the end depending on your choices. But, we will never know
Expensive idea… the game would've been way better if there was no shooting and only melee. Or at least the characters that shoot will shoot and the characters that melee will melee.
I think it’s viable to state that we, the Arkham community as a whole, can agree that Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, is not or should not be considered canon to the Arkham-Verse.

If fans reject this game and few years later Rocksteady (or whoever will own the franchise) will come and say "Let's forget about the Suicide Squad game, we'll making our continuation to the Arkham Knight game" then this game will not be cannon, so I think it's important to resist it.

Everybody has seen the Arkham/Suicide Squad graphic comparisons claiming that Arkham looks so much better. Batman games are highly stylized but that's just it, and besides who's gonna look at the scenery when they're presented with the glossy latex butt of Harley... It's hard for armchair fans to disagree with what they're presented.

Green Lantern normally: The ring can create anything I imagine (and he imagines a lot). The extent of Green Lantern's creativity in this game: Machine guns, helicopters and a giant version of himself
I have always wondered if they need to know things like exactly how machine guns and helicopters work down to the last detail in order to imagine them correctly or like if they just need to know that one does a shooty and the other flies.

They really did it. Not even Jason Todd, the boy wonder that Batman raised and trained could not defeat him, yet the suicide squad could, whose members he has already defeated in the past. Like I expected him to die in the hands of Superman or by getting defeated by Nightwing and Jason team up or by Wonder Woman.
It wasn't jason, it was tim. Jason was the arkham knight but became the red hood after the events of the game. Batman's transmission message in the cave mentioned nightwing, red hood, and oracle so by this time jason and batman made up. The mask with blood on the floor was tim, the current robin.

I turned my brain off to the Arkhamverse and it's decent on its own, it's comedic at least.. but this game is honestly just trash because of the fact the story is going to continue for the next 3 years instead of giving us actual replayability
It's crazy how only Flash could wipe out the Squad, but they make him only run in circles like a dumbass, and made Batman be the "Giant villain throwing things" and not a real strategic battle. This game failed before even launched
@@PeachesandCream225 Yes, I saw not only this one, but other gameplays, that's why I said it wasn't a REAL strategic battle. These parts weren't bad, the first contact feels like we're controlling an NPC from the Arkham series (and that POV is kind of cool). But the Batcave part and the final battle I believe could have been better. We just had to think about something like Batman vs. Mr. Freeze in Arkham City, and give us the chance to adapt during the battle, I don't know.
The fact that they felt the need to do this race swap AND have a line in the game directly referencing it tell's me all I need to know about this piece of shit game.

I probably wont ever end up buying this game but most of these cutscenes were actually really well done. The game looks amazing, the costumes and character designs are all perfect and the voice acting is top notch. They also nailed the characterization for all members of the SS. It's a better suicide squad movie than what we got in 2016 for sure

my issue is the $70 price tag for a 10 hour campaign. if i want to play a loot/shooter i'll play one of the borderland games. the game is worth maybe $30.
@buffynaturalTV depends on how much side mission stuff you do/ what difficulty. I've never done a 3rd person shooter like this before and did it on the highest difficulty beating all the main side stuff and it took me 40, but even with only getting up to like level 12 on the post game Im done. Just gets way too redundant already no idea how this whole live service is gonna keep people around
It's simple. Just don't buy it until sale. Watching this video has saved me money, even as a big batman and Arkham fan. This was always going to fail from the 1st reveal. I did buy avengers on sale and this was no where that (combat) gameplay.

Rocksteady doesn't care about these characters anymore. They said Mad Hatter's name is Jarvis instead of Jervis. And they have no clue how a Green Lantern power ring works. Its supposed to find a new wielder when the previous one dies. And it doesn't just work for just anyone who puts it on

Hear me out, the writing is clearly laying out that there are multiple dimensions so in theory, this could be outside of the dimension that we played through with the Arkham games. It could also explain some of the inconsistencies with this story and the one we know.
Some of the story is serviceable. An idea for mainstream audience clearly contrived from a niche one. Could have worked if done well. Something is definitely missing. Here, killing of JL was a punch in the gut. So much missed potential.
I heard that the original devs (on rocksteady) already left when they make this game and the ones making this thing basically the new employee for the job. They Should've left too to be honest. They make the heroes evil and the villains good. By the nature itself its wrong

I think they got Deadshot mixed up with Bloodsport. In the opening scene Deadshot has claustrophobia - but that’s was a trait of Bloodsport in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Talk about getting two black guys mixed up, the horrible search into these characters thickens

My problem with the Batman fight is that like Batman doesn’t even try to really attack you like he would in Arkham. In the Arkham games this man would be jumping out of vents with 56 hit combos, ducking, exiting and breaking bones, But the actual boss fight is just you in fear toxin for some reason and a big bat fight at the end I guess except for the Deadshot part

I love how the Suicide Squad was only scared of Bad Batman, they were still perky with the others. Batman is respected even by gods, and his teammates always are grateful that he's on their side. At the end of the day, a human is still the most dangerous being in this universe. As Darkseid said, humans kill their own kind to win battles.
I'm going to think of this as a alternate Arkham universe Earth and try to ignore the disrespect they did to that version of batman, mainly because King shark died in assault on Arkham due to waller setting off his bomb, but he's alive here. Just like how Captain boomerang was killed by the other version of Deadshot in the Arkham Knight comics. To many inconsistencies for it to be in the Arkham universe we know and love, so it could possibly be an alternate Arkham universe earth to ours. The game is dabbeling in multiverse stories based off the ending and dlc packs coming out. Either way it'll never be the same without Kevin Conroy's amazing voice acting in place

They really had amazing attention to detail, like for example near the beginning boomerang cut his thumb off on accident, and later on when he is brainwashed his thumb is back there like it never even happened. 10/10 game wouldn’t recommend
My headcannon is that the JL is clones and THAT is why is thumb is back. Like a little attention to details kinda thing. Or at least that's my hope. Braniac is a collector, just brainwashing and pissing away the JL would be dumb. Why not clone them and use their clones to help take over the multiverse. People who are out here blaming Rocksteady. They would not have made this game if it was not for Warner Brothers. Warner Brothers is the reason why the Arkham franchise has been killed off and why we got Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad. If they actually cared about these games, none of this would have ever happened. We could have gotten more Arkham games, *better* games and Arkham Origins could have been remade to really fit the rest of the series.
I’m convinced the people who made this game 1. Hate the justice league for some reason, 2. REALLY wanted to be James Gunn, 3. Wanted to make a movie, and 4. Thought that the D2 public events was the best peak of gaming.

Honestly, looking at this video. It's honestly sad, you can see the potential in the story. I actually liked most of the story for the most part, it had a goal and it was leading somewhere. But the way that they handled The Justice League's deaths (not characters, just their boss fights and deaths) especially Batman's boss fight and death, the idea of Braniac being the main villain and the whole thing repeating, hell I was shocked to see how little Superman and Brainiac appear despite those two being the most powerful. Superman has like one scene where he says something and Brainiac was in like 2-3 scenes. It shows that the 2/3 of the movie has attention and a bit of care but the remaining 1/3 was awful and had no thought or care to it whatsoever. It honestly sucks, the story is fine imo but it could've been so much better

This game has really good acting, and the story is actually interesting. But man, it completly destroys itself by making it part of the Arkhamverse, the disrespect from Batman alone is just sad and painfull to see, 4 main games to learn about his character and allies to vanish just like that in a single game. If you are one the people who says the hate is due to cry babys...you are not 100% wrong, but anyone would be mad to see something they got attached to, be destroyed and humiliated.

Man, this game has some writing and story elements that I really liked (except that the entire Justice League literally dies), but some of the worst, most confusing, and generally non-fun gameplay/boss battles that I’ve ever seen in a video game…

21:35 one of the few things I like about this game is that they make it believable that some of these villains could have been actual threats, especially Boomerang. we get to see that he knows about what Flash can and can't do, and uses that knowledge to find him
Boomerang actually having a nemesis on the league and playing with that is a definite highlight. Better than Deadshot just really hating GL just cause lol
What I hated is that they downplayed Cpt. Boomerang by not giving him gimmick boomerangs which for excample explode which makes im an actual threat in the comics.
I’ve never been a deadshot fan but man this game paints him as an annoying jackass and I really don’t like him of the four. I have no sympathies to him and honestly if I ever decided to get lobotomized and buy this game, I’d never play as him. That being said, Captain boomerang makes me laugh.
Rocksteady once created one of the best boss encounters ever (the fight against Mr. Freeze in GCPD). Now we have just shooting. The mighty have fallen and it is WB’s fault. 😢
It feels wrong because it is. It shits on the character. This has to be up there with Luke Skywalker in terms of character assassination. Funny thing is if it wasn’t set in the arkhamverse I would be completely fine with the game as is.

Yes, and it shouldn't have worked for King Shark, King Shark shouldn't have then tried to kill everyone, and the force field should have gone down after GL went down. This is one of the reasons why everyone thinks this wasn't the actual Justice League. It could have been the Ring of Volthoom from Earth 3.

Probably, they're gonna have the same faith like the studio who made that Gollum game, Forespoken and The Day Before: Shut down because of Bad Reviews later.
the game looks great visually, the voice acting is great, the banter is genuinely funny at points and the moment with Barry in the lasso of truth is genuinely touching now if only the premise and overarching plot weren't handled so poorly and it wasn't a gottdamn *live service shooter*, we could've had something terrific

At least we get to see the cutscenes for free instead of paying to play a live service game. King Shark is still my favorite character in this game, but Captain Boomerang is a close second. In fact, they both kinda bond each other throughout the whole story.

It wasn't jason, it was tim. Jason was the arkham knight but became the red hood after the events of the game. Batman's transmission message in the cave mentioned nightwing, red hood, and oracle so by this time jason and batman made up. The mask with blood on the floor was tim, the current robin.

These parts weren't bad, the first contact feels like we're controlling an NPC from the Arkham series (and that POV is kind of cool). But the Batcave part and the final battle I believe could have been better. We just had to think about something like Batman vs. Mr. Freeze in Arkham City, and give us the chance to adapt during the battle, I don't know.

I've never done a 3rd person shooter like this before and did it on the highest difficulty beating all the main side stuff and it took me 40, but even with only getting up to like level 12 on the post game Im done. Just gets way too redundant already no idea how this whole live service is gonna keep people around
It's simple. Just don't buy it until sale. Watching this video has saved me money, even as a big batman and Arkham fan. This was always going to fail from the 1st reveal. I did buy avengers on sale and this was no where that (combat) gameplay.

Hear me out, the writing is clearly laying out that there are multiple dimensions so in theory, this could be outside of the dimension that we played through with the Arkham games. It could also explain some of the inconsistencies with this story and the one we know.
Let’s hope to god they use this theory as logic to apply to future dc games they make!

I think they got Deadshot mixed up with Bloodsport. In the opening scene Deadshot has claustrophobia - but that’s was a trait of Bloodsport in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Talk about getting two black guys mixed up, the horrible search into these characters thickens

I love how the Suicide Squad was only scared of Bad Batman, they were still perky with the others. Batman is respected even by gods, and his teammates always are grateful that he's on their side. At the end of the day, a human is still the most dangerous being in this universe. As Darkseid said, humans kill their own kind to win battles.
I'm going to think of this as a alternate Arkham universe Earth and try to ignore the disrespect they did to that version of batman, mainly because King shark died in assault on Arkham due to waller setting off his bomb, but he's alive here. Just like how Captain boomerang was killed by the other version of Deadshot in the Arkham Knight comics. To many inconsistencies for it to be in the Arkham universe we know and love, so it could possibly be an alternate Arkham universe earth to ours. The game is dabbeling in multiverse stories based off the ending and dlc packs coming out. Either way it'll never be the same without Kevin Conroy's amazing voice acting in place

People who are out here blaming Rocksteady. They would not have made this game if it was not for Warner Brothers. Warner Brothers is the reason why the Arkham franchise has been killed off and why we got Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad. If they actually cared about these games, none of this would have ever happened. We could have gotten more Arkham games, *better* games and Arkham Origins could have been remade to really fit the rest of the series.

Honestly, looking at this video. It's honestly sad, you can see the potential in the story. I actually liked most of the story for the most part, it had a goal and it was leading somewhere. But the way that they handled The Justice League's deaths (not characters, just their boss fights and deaths) especially Batman's boss fight and death, the idea of Braniac being the main villain and the whole thing repeating, hell I was shocked to see how little Superman and Brainiac appear despite those two being the most powerful. Superman has like one scene where he says something and Brainiac was in like 2-3 scenes. It shows that the 2/3 of the movie has attention and a bit of care but the remaining 1/3 was awful and had no thought or care to it whatsoever. It honestly sucks, the story is fine imo but it could've been so much better

21:35 one of the few things I like about this game is that they make it believable that some of these villains could have been actual threats, especially Boomerang. we get to see that he knows about what Flash can and can't do, and uses that knowledge to find him

That being said, Captain boomerang makes me laugh.
Rocksteady once created one of the best boss encounters ever (the fight against Mr. Freeze in GCPD). Now we have just shooting. The mighty have fallen and it is WB’s fault. 😢

the game looks great visually, the voice acting is great, the banter is genuinely funny at points and the moment with Barry in the lasso of truth is genuinely touching
now if only the premise and overarching plot weren't handled so poorly and it wasn't a gottdamn *live service shooter*, we could've had something terrific
