- As we have said in previous videos, we had a blast at Fall Nall. We had the opportunity to fly this beautiful A-6 several times and it is a wonderful bird. This 80mm EDF has loads of power and can do any maneuver you want to try with it. Freewing did an awesome job with this bird.

Got the bird. what a beauty. The locked front gear is then, a freewing weakness. Happens to my a6. and my friend's Venom...

What a beautiful model of the A6, love it! It has a nice jet sound too, for an edf. So glad TH-camrs such as yourself review the modern crop of scale aircraft being produced, as it's the only way I can hope to enjoy them. Where I currently live, the only RC models I can own are micro helis, as I simply don't have enough room to store planes this size. Perhaps one day!

Being completely new to flying RC airplanes (I do have 25+ years driving RC trucks and buggys, nitro 1/8 scale mostly) this is way to advanced for me, but the A-6 Intruder has always been my favorite aircraft. When all of my local tracks closed I decided to start flying, I am still learning on a Hobbyzone Apprentice 1.2, but I am definitely going to pickup one of these so I can have it when I am ready to progress.
Definitely start with something more beginner friendly. I really recommend getting realflight sim and getting your feet wet that way 😉
@@MerryBoozerRC I would if I had a computer but all I use anymore is a tablet or my phone. I picked up the Mini Apprentice 1.2 BNF, 3 spare lipos, a Spektrum DX8, and some spares to get started. I am going to pickup a few EDF's I want while they are in stock and I have the extra money (got a good Christmas Bonus) I know the temptation to try one will be there, but I have no problem waiting till I am ready
New2Kendo there was a realflight app for a long time but I don’t know if it’s still available
New2Kendo but the apprentice will make a great starter for sure also if there are any local flying clubs I recommend trying to get in with a group not only can they help you learn flying with friends is always better
@@MerryBoozerRC there use to be a local club the Geyser Flyers but I don't know if they are still a club, I went to the website and it hasnt been updated in a while. I am going to contact them, if they are still a club I know you need to have an AMA Card and a Solo Permit Sticker. I looked into the Solo Permit Sticker but I couldnt find out how to acquire one

I really want this A6 but I am no where near good enough to fly it. Everytime I watch a video on this A6 it makes me want to re watch Flight of the Intruder

I'm a bit late to this one - but I have ordered mine from Motion RC.....
Accelerates a lot faster than the real thing. Have about 1200 hours and 250 CV landings in one of those.

IF YOU USE A GYRO'S YOUR STEERING A AIRPLANE NOT FLYING IT THE RECEIVER IS FLYING THE PLANE

No gyro also your thinking of safe not al gyros are self leveling
Gyros fly planes? Please put one in your plane and see how well it flies itself. Tip - put it in a plane you don;t care about. The flight is going to be very short...
Chris Spohr I have used gyros in plenty of planes if set up correctly they don’t hinder flight an any way they just smooth out the plane. I think 🤔 you are confusing SAFE with all gyros. Most Gyros only dampen outside forces so say a gust of wind lifts the wing without control input the gyro corrects that now if you invert the plane the gyro will not level it for you.
@@MerryBoozerRC We agree. I'm aware of all of that as I have AS3X, LemonRX stabilizers, and Aura 8 in many planes. I was responding rhetorically to James White's comment. He seems to think a gyro will fly a plane for the pilot.
