My Marine Squadron was VMCJ-2 Which had EA-6A's and RF-4B's but only the EA-6A went on the USS Forestall, than the USS Saratoga than to USS America than back to the Saratoga. 11 months in the Mediterranean Sea. Loved it and volunteered to do it again but was sent West Pac. My dad was in RC everything from boats, cars but his love was flying his planes. He helped start the RC Culb in Peoria Illinois.
I've had mine for years. The only problem is the lack of space for the battery. If it's not a small-ish pack it'd really tough to get the canopy to reliably seat. It also won't let you use 5k mAh packs, which is where most 80mm jets are. But it does fly great and it really does turn heads.
I have over a 1000 hrs in the A6E, Grumman makes a great plane. The model looks pretty scale!

I worked on # 500 VA-85 Blackhawks attack squadron in 1974-1975 as a aviation machinist mate. Stationed in Oceana Navel Air station Oceana, Virginia

Spent a few years with USMC VMFA(W) 242 at El Toro. A-6 was a fantastic all weather attack aircraft. And carried a shit ton of arms.

I just got a LX F-22 Raptor EDF 2x70 MM I wonder if I can use the Radiomaster TX16S and which brand do you recommend for a 16 Channel Receiver ?
You would need 6 channels. Unfortunately we do not represent radiomaster but it should work just fine as long as you use a 6 channel or hire receiver
Only thing, that suck about this bird, is the poor grass take-off capabilities. It flies great....
