*_before you write a comment regarding the scale factor, please notice the following_*
*1)* we know, the A-6 has no afterburner
*2)* based on the weight limitation of 30 Kg, only one turbine is installed. the exhaust of the turbine is located in the center of the fuselage.
_if you still notice more details that do not match the original, please let us know._

First off, visually this is an excellent scale reproduction of an A6 Intruder. I noted there were some compromises made, probably due to weight, but given that, it's still quite good. A few things I noted that have been done different in comparison to an actual Intruder. First, the flaps in the RC model are too small length-wise. In the actual article, the flaps extend from the root out to the clamshell-style wingtip speed brakes. It also has leading edge slats, from wing root to wing tip. The horizontal stabilators (elevators) in the tail in the real article are all-moving slabs, not a conventional elevator as done with the RC version. That being said, your choice was an excellent one for flying characteristics as going to a slab stabilator would probably be too effective unless you restrict deflection to a very few degrees. Finally, while I can't tell if the RC uses ailerons, the real article does not. It uses spoilers on each wing, located just forward of the flaps, and are of the same width from wing root to speed brake as the flaps. The stabilators move differentially to create a roll moment and the spoilers are also used to make the aircraft roll.
During landing on ship, the pilots would leave the engines spooled up a bit (because it took 8 seconds to spool!) and use the speed brakes to control their speed. Those retract much faster than the engines can spool. For fun, you might want to experiment a little with having partially open speed brakes on landing, set the throtte to barely maintain level flight, and see if controlling landing speed is easier with the speed brakes than the engine.
I'm not an A6 driver, but my dad was. I have to say that I'm still amazed at how well this RC model flies and how good it looks!

Visually, for me the nose, cockpit area of the fuselage are off, then the tail section appears to slim when compared to the real A6.

I was an A-6 mechanic. Watching this video brought back some pretty cool memories. I was impressed that you had working speed brakes on this RC. Great attention to detail. My old squadron was VA-205. The amount of ordinance this aircraft was capable to carry is nothing short of amazing. Thanks again.

In 1977 thru 1979 I was in Vma 533 at Cherry Point N.C. We shared a hanger with Vma 224. I was 25 then, I am 60 now and I wish I was there back now after seeing this video. I actually got to fly as an enlisted (back seat) twice, once in Fallon over the sierra's and Tahoe and once in Yuma at the bombing range. I can tell you this bird was very under rated, she was fast, she was maneuverable and she could carry everything you could load on her. Thank you taking me back.

I worked with the EA-6A, A-6B, KA-6D, and A-6E during the aircraft’s lifetime, and your model was great(given the identified limitations). You should do an EA-6B Prowler, which until last year was still deployed with the USMC. The series has a long and distinguished history, and your model only added pleasure to those of us who worked so intimately with all versions of the Intruder (and Prowler).

Wow! What a model!! I have lived very close (AZ1) to Oceana Master Jet Base in Va Beach for nearly 40 years, so we became more than familiar with these all weather attack jets through the 70' 80's and even through the 90's. Arguably the loudest twin engine bird I've ever heard in real life - louder than a F-18 Superhornet. Brings back memories seeing this video - my father's best friend was shot down in one over Vietnam. Only comment, maybe a better wind block on camera mic next windy day, otherwise, very well made video, as expected!

Awesome aircraft and video. I used to work on the A-6 as an Aviation Ordnance Chief Petty Officer. Great build and flying. No afterburner on an A-6 though.
