0:06 pretty sure this opening scene is a mile from my house! 😮
The first rig that you saw in Tillamook is a US Army 2 1/2 or 5 ton made by Stewart and Stevenson. They used to be a company in that Buckys and outed them for camping and Overland. They can be purchased at auction for a reasonable price and they get about 10 to 12 miles to the gallon. I happen to own the 2 1/2 ton model
That 'MyDream' (7:40) camper was really nice!
So cool you just popped up as a suggested channel,I’ve subscribed, thanks this is very interesting!
best channel period..so enjoy your videos and optimistic vibe ..these gone wild videos are fantastic even the music you use
Wow, The gold star award. Feel like I just won an Oscar.
I feel so sorry about the people in Florida right now. My friends there were spared. Clearwater area
18:49 Bombardier one one of the original work horses of the north. There are still some of these in northern Saskatchewan used for commercial fishing.
Guess I did it kinda backwards. Started with a 1978 dodge titan class A, then down to a 30' Mallard bumper pull, and now I just have a lil camper in the bed of my truck
Hey brother love the videos Thank you for picking mine
I lived in Astoria for years and on the other side of the bridge Washington thanks for the fun and funny videos 👍👍👍👍👍😊
My Giribaldi to Astoria video will come out in a few weeks
@@RVingWithJoe very nice thanks will be looking for it 👍
19:00 I've always wanted to be a truck van
MAYBE THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD STOP PISSING WITH THE WEATHER!
*15:42** ~ I see you are a inside of the box sort of fellow. Well, actually most cars can tow 3 times their weight, some 4 and a few 5, Can-Am RV out of London ON shows this superbly working with even 28 and 34ft Airstreams running thru a slalom. In Europe from Latvia (Chrysler Minivan Club) there is a Tuber here who tows Voyager's on a tandem axle trailer with a Voyager 3.3 on Nat Gas. To do this you need a 40k transmission cooler mounted in an area of good airflow. Extending mirrors (that strap down), weight distributing hitch, and ideally a center support welded to a class 4 receiver and secured to the cross member by angle iron. (even if only Class 2's or 3's are sold) you mix and match like say from a truck. I'm a Caravan and Town and Country (thru '07) nut and know these as excellent tow rigs once you mod these aspects.*
*I'm planning a trip towing a 6X10 PJ enclosed utility White and Red Oak Post and Beam trailer insulated with sheep's wool, along with 6997 watts of mostly mono solar that louvers and folds out with 18oz canvas canopy's offering upto 568 Square feet. Total weight around 7k (including all my possessions) with a van stock rated at 3500, and about 6k for the van (along with a welded in reinforced rear axle as I did on my 2000 GC, 3.3) HD suspension, and 4" lift for offload clearance. everything is built entirely by me. some 16 trades and counting. The trailer supports van life so you can fix anything, anywhere. As for what appears to be a Tercel, and the trailer. The trailer is likely only some 2500-2800 lbs rated tow is 2k. so 4k is safe. But Toyota's can do way more to some 6k. I think you need to rethink the capabilities of small cars as I simply dont like the steering slop and the working class image of Trucks. Had a '92 Dodge B350 and had not a date in 11 years..I owned it*
We usedto live in Port Saint Lucie too from 2012 to 2021. Small world eh? Ben used to volunteer at the Botanical garden there for many years.
We lived off of Becker Rd for most of 2011 when Digital Domain opened an animation studio in Tradition.
Yes, and now that same building is now a church and quite a church at that! We moved there in 2012 and moved in 2021 after selling and going full-time RVing. Was a rather sleepy town until towards covid when everyone else decided to move here, drive the real-estate through the roof and create a traffic nightmare!
No place more beautiful than the Oregon Coast. When you were in Canon Beach, did you stay at Sea Ranch RV Camp site. I love Canon Beach!
Come on man. RV is Recreational Vehicle, so by default RVs are self-propelled. You've got a travel trailer.
I beg to differ. There’s a differentiation between motorized and non-motorized vehicles but they’re both vehicles, at least according to most departments of motor vehicles. What you’re thinking of is the subcategory of RV called motorhome which is a different subclass of RV alongside travel trailers, pop up trailers, and fifth wheels. According to the RVIA, those are all considered recreational vehicles
15:40, over in Europe, this is how they Tow and Camp.
17:40, this is a Pop Up.
Pretty good content but too much chatter. The opening clips of the rv park shows how piss poor rvs are constructed.
UM NO! NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO PULL THROUGH ,MANY DIED!
Is that what you hope?
@@joseph-mariopelerin7028 are you stupid? It's a fact you fing idiot
@@joseph-mariopelerin7028 you truly are a ignorant asshole
Your producer? Peace out
Yeah my wife is my producer. She helped me put together the script and gather all the emails.
To me, rv are just money pits just like boats
What isn't a money pit though?
