I also now get annoyed when there’s too many empty grocery bags (for going shopping, since we have to pay for bags where we live) in the cargo area.
The repairs were probably declined because the repair shop quoted too much. Maybe the customer got the car repaired somewhere cheaper or scrapped the car and replaced it? Repair bills on modern cars are getting ridiculous when they’re $1000’s for a component like an ECU or BCU. In these cases the repair shop is pricing themselves out of work and the customer might as well replace the car.
If I ran a shop and a customer came in with a rolling dumpster I would decline services, I'd have a big ole sign out front that would say, we reserve the right to deny repairs to any vehicle full of garbage or that is too disgusting for health concerns of my staff.

Those disgusting interiors. I work as a breakdown recovery driver in the UK. We take the vehicle and driver and any passenger where they want to go. One day I picked up a guy who had a hire car long term, the interior was pretty messy but not rancid, I took him to get a new hire car at one depot before moving the car to another depot. At the first depot the guy and hire car depot guy cleared out the car first all the piles and piles of clothes, they were not in holdalls or suitcases so they just stuffed them into bin liners then the money into another bin liner. Hundreds of £ ($ ) worth. Eventually I was told to take the car to other depot, I decided to stop and grab a coffee along the way and thought there might be enough coins in the car to buy one. I found £85 in the car the guy had just left in there, pretty good bonus.
I don't understand how people let a car get like that. I've had my current car 3 years now, the interior still looks brand new. The car I had before it, 7 years old. Put crate engine into a a 4wd GMC Safari one time and spent over a month trying to get it to run. Finally found a post online saying that a certain s/n range of engine blocks had the crankshaft sensor boss machined 20 thou off and let me tell you, you get a lot of problems when the crank sensor doesn't work... Thanks GM.
Yeah if ECM does not get good signal from crank sensor it will shut down the engine cause wrong crank angle means its out of timing and in interference engine where valves and piston use same space, results of timing being off can become very expensive ie full engine rebuild or new engine. This issue can also happen due poor ground on wiring, witch is common cause for all kind of funky stuff modern cars can do, so if there is anything odd, check the grounding points and battery wires for corrosion. There is grounding points between engine and chassis well as in the trunk so check least most of them to fix the issue. Clean the contact and wire and try again, it might well fix the issue and cheap repair. If not then you might need actual car electrician to check the issue. Another is to check the fuses and feel if relays are clicking when those should be.
@richwielechowski5191 I ended up cutting it actually. It was wedged in there good. I put some bitch mittens on and gave it a couple tugs and it wouldn't budge. Pulled out the hacksaw and halfway through cutting, it snapped the rest of the way from tension

some car owners are serious vehicle scientists there. considering the time, the dedication, the creativeness involving in mod their cars, they must be granted a doctorate. just amazing.
For the rolling garbage dumps: Sir, the estimate for the repairs is $449. The estimate to clean out the trash and get the car safe enough for our technician to work on is $5,000. That is to be paid up front in cash before we touch it. How do you want to proceed?
Ceramics and glass fiber. Unless its old clutch with asbestos not that big of a issue, though i would recommend PPE for protect lungs and maybe gloves, but its mostly just going to itch. Also shop vac to clean the area.

And reproduce, own dogs, own guns, have mortgages and argue with you over the internet. Its truly horrifying who we share the planet with.
@@ratgreen The also start wars.
Maybe some of them won’t be able to drive to the polls. Hopefully.
I remember most of these, and they are all still absolutely terrifying to think of being anywhere near me on the road!
7:00 "The customer declined repairs and bounced away" just killed me 😂
Video's like this are both funny and terrifying. We share the road with these people.
This channel is just about the funniest on TH-cam. Thank you.
I can smell that fried clutch disc from here.
that clutch earned its place in Vallhala
Put crate engine into a a 4wd GMC Safari one time and spent over a month trying to get it to run. Finally found a post online saying that a certain s/n range of engine blocks had the crankshaft sensor boss machined 20 thou off and let me tell you, you get a lot of problems when the crank sensor doesn't work... Thanks GM.
I have a sneaking suspicion that if I knew you, I would take your advice on car repairs and maintenance.
As an IT guy, I'd hate to see how they treat their computers.
Anytime I don’t feel good about myself I watch your videos then Im overflowing with confidence.
Just remember these assholes are on the road with your loved ones....
"My roof leaks. Also I drilled holes through my roof, but that's not related."
That shovel guy got extremely lucky
But he got a good shovel in the end
Ya, I was expecting it to be a pretty expensive fix, cutting it half let it fall right out.
@richwielechowski5191 I ended up cutting it actually. It was wedged in there good. I put some bitch mittens on and gave it a couple tugs and it wouldn't budge. Pulled out the hacksaw and halfway through cutting, it snapped the rest of the way from tension
So this was you last narration video! Thank you for your voice and good luck in the future!
"And the mechanic who took this photo was pretty surprised on how dirty this customer's car was when it was brought into the shop." ... Very fitting last parting words.
We came, we saw, we did, now let’s bounce.
“The customer bounced away” 😂😂😂
14:29 ...that a decline to repair. No way I'd work on that!
"Declined all repars" is why shops charge "lift fees". Also, mad props to the guy who drove 11 hrs on 3 brakes.
A good trail fix is the one that gets you home.
7:30 how do you destroy THREE engines?! Genuine question- it seems like it should be pretty hard to do, yet the customer keeps managing it.
That poor guy with the throttle body gasket I bet he felt so bad lol
Those "other shops" keep getting worse.
These are UNBELIEVABLE . INTERESTING
These people need more help than just with their vehicles.
The and bounced away part got me haha

Lady must’ve been trying to get those tires to 100% 🤣🤣🤣
What a good person that took the kittens home.
Sometimes when you see the mechanic go out with a seat protector and a floor mat protector, it is not to keep the customers car clean from the mechanic. It is to protect the mechanic from what is in said moving violation.
some car owners are serious vehicle scientists there. considering the time, the dedication, the creativeness involving in mod their cars, they must be granted a doctorate. just amazing.
For the rolling garbage dumps: Sir, the estimate for the repairs is $449. The estimate to clean out the trash and get the car safe enough for our technician to work on is $5,000. That is to be paid up front in cash before we touch it. How do you want to proceed?
That's what the local commercial truck and tractor shop here has been doing for 30+ years. Just charge cleaning and disposal fees.
Another winner my friend. Look forward to the long videos. 👍 👍 👍
3:32 If you don't check if your doors are fully closed for *SIX MONTHS* you should *not* be allowed out in public.
Love these videos so much. Makes me feel normal. Hahahah
11:47, You are going to touch that with your bare hands?
Clutch dust. Don't breathe this!!
Ceramics and glass fiber. Unless its old clutch with asbestos not that big of a issue, though i would recommend PPE for protect lungs and maybe gloves, but its mostly just going to itch. Also shop vac to clean the area.
@@Hellsong89 The asbestos is what makes me nervous.
Love the descriptions as I am not a mechanic. I can appreciate the stupid repairs people have done to themselves as comedy.
Thank you for this video!!! I now feel like a true professional with my car ❤❤.
Window screen as an air filter? Well at least that should work about as well as a K%N! LMAO!!!!
K/N works well, but people neglect to oil them
Watching these videos makes me feel better about myself 😂
14:42 that thing screams *_P O S E R_* 🤣
@@youdontknowme5969 that's 100 percent a Mexicans car.
Customer bounced away 😂
And to think these vehicles are all next to me on the highway going 70mph.
I’ve started watching your videos while working out. Somehow a great motivator so thank you 🙏
Loved the comment about the new tire brand, may pop. 😂😂😂
Old Sniglet: Maypop: a bald tire.
6:54 this is literally what happens when you play a Snoop Dogg song in a Fortnite car XD
The customer damages or outright destroys their car while attempting to repair/upgrade/install parts. They can't understand why the car doesn't drive properly anymore. They get the car towed into the shop for repairs. They decline repairs and have the car towed away! How do these people make it through each day!
Some of this stuff...WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!
The clearly photoshopped pic of "the girlfriend" almost put me on the floor 🤣🤣🤣
Not photoshopped, its from a car magazine ad.
Customer: "My jeep won't start!"
Mechanic: "It's a Jeep!"
