One of my friends has the 110s 11IBR which has a M.2 slot to which I added a 240gb WD green SATA M.2 it now runs a little smoother and of course you have much more storage. For £25 it is well worth it and easy to fit and configure.
My dad had a pretty high spec lenovo ThinkPad P53 for work. He retired it for a new ThinkPad P16 Gen 2, and now I have the P53. Can't argue with free, and it's got an i9-9880H, 32GB of RAM, and a Quadro RTX 4000!
I bought this about 3 months ago when it's was on sale for $99. My son uses it for homework and to play xbox one games. It does great! I'm very happy with it.
Replaced the eMMc drive with a 120 GB M.2 (empty M.2 port on motherboard). Much faster and you can reformat the original drive as additional storage. Not bad for a total $70 investment.
I got one for animation, works great, and i can even play some of my favorite games on it! It runs Macromedia Flash 8 smoothly, and I can even use it to make quick youtube vids.
Not hating but do you really need to say “dirt cheap” because I’m 13years old and have been saving for a laptop that is much needed for my school work. And your “dirt cheap” saying is kinda making me and most likely others who are willing to buy this laptop feel bad.

With windows and its numerous and humongous updates, 32GB wouldn't leave you enough storage for apps that you really need (like an office suite), let alone games...

It was advertised as having the n3160 quad core processor but when it was delivered to me it had just the n3060 dual core processor. They offered to refund me but I just decided to keep it. I’m in the UK and it cost me £129

Much of the target market for this just wants a new clean laptop ready to go for school/children/etc. Buying a used one means cleaning it up, knowing how to tell if all is working, software cleanup, often a new Windows install, etc.
I mean, it *can* run a lot of things - but doing high res graphics work, or any speedy video editing requires a faster processor and dedicated graphics card. For super basic stuff it's ok, just gotta be patient with it.
what i mean is that those laptops will probably be cheaper than normal laptops therefore they will cause a lowering in price among the budget tier laptops and in general. i don't think they will fail unless they will be overpriced. also what i mean by fuck the market up is that they will bring more competition and competition between brands and products is always good for the customer.
Actually I take that back: There's no ethernet port. That might be a necessity for network security stuff lol. There's USB adapters but it's not the same.

awesometjgreen on mine when I plugged in my xbox 360 controller there is a power surge error message. minecraft runs fine though.

In my country for $10 more I can get a used thinkpad with an i5, 4GBs of RAM and an SSD so in my opinion hardware like that is not worth the money.

yes Roblox runs fine. I got about 4 hours of battery before I got the low battery warning at 20% and not long after that power saving mode kicks in
