As a Chromebook user, I disagree - if you plan on any sort of media playback. Chrome doesn't have the same Intel hardware optimization for videos as Edge does and really sucks at playing videos at all on a Chromebook.

Hardware acceleration for video is certainly performed both within HTML5 video content as well as Flash video content. I experimented with StageXL video playback 5 years ago when all of this hardware accelerated video stuff was really starting to become a thing, and since then CPU usage requirements for good video playback have been pretty minimal. You may remember the days when Apple was complaining about Flash playback on Mac. Adobe solved that with StageXL. And I haven't seen any degradation since Google switched over to using HTML5 for playback here on TH-cam. If there really was a performance issue with this, I wouldn't have been able to write the browser apps I did for mixing music notation with video. The music notation processing itself is heavier than the video playback, and yet it still plays smoothly on my Chromebook.

True but what I am trying to say this there are a ton of games on steam for ANY level spec of computer. Games like game dev tycoon and freedom planet should have no issue on the $200 laptops and chromebook can't get steam, at least not officially. Immanuel Adesanya it's ok but your better of £700 for a gaming laptop or £400 for a gaming computer if u are just starting pc gaming but if you have experience with pc gaming and know for sure you like it get a hardcore gaming pc like £1350 mark

You may need to have deep understanding about networks, internet connection, and ensuring the mouton is not over heated so make sure to restart, before using the internet again. And I believe it is the best to keep on checking the mouton.

it's only 1 small motherboard meaning the ram and CPU are integrated. this means you can't upgrade it. you could add system ram by using your flash memory card.

While editing on it would be possible, you need a lot better of a processor to do any real productive video editing. This is not good for that.

This laptop is not good for gaming. It's a very low-end budget laptop for school and web surfing. They have higher-end gaming laptops.
